Abstract

Komunikasi kreatif semakin beragam dan inovatif meskipun di seluruh penjuru dunia masih dilanda pandemi Covid-19, termasuk Indonesia. Pandemi tidak menghalangi dan menurunkan kreatifitas masyarakat dalam berkomunikasi, melainkan membuat masyarakat lebih terpacu dalam menciptakan komunikasi kreatif. Meskipun pada satu sisi pandemi ini menimbulkan berbagai aspek negatif, namun di sisi lainnya terdapat aspek-aspek positif yang dapat diambil, salah satunya adalah meningkatnya komunikasi kreatif di kalangan masyarakat. Dengan hadirnya komunikasi kreatif, masyarakat semakin terdorong dan mandiri dalam komunikasi, sehingga kemampuan yang dimiliki secara tidak langsung meningkat dan terlatih dalam hal menerima, mengolah, dan menafsirkan pesan yang disampaikan dalam komunikasi, terutama dalam kegiatan yang berhubungan dengan advertising, komunikasi interpersonal, komunikasi organisasi, komunikasi kelompok, maupun komunikasi antarbudaya.

Abstract

Strategi dalam menghadapi Pemilu Legislatif merupakan tantangan bagi para kontestan dalam membuat perencanaan yang cermat, tepat, dan efektif. Perencanan tersebut disusun dan dilaksanakan oleh tim kampanye dengan tujuan meraih kemenangan. Target mereka adalah memperoleh dukungan dari pemilih dan meningkatnya elektabilitas. Hal tersebut diharapkan dapat mempengaruhi perolehan suara dan menentukan kemenangan kontestan, dalam hal ini Parpol Islam .Artikel ini berdasarkan penelitian lapangan untuk memperoleh gambaran secara jelas mengenai eksistensi Parpol Islam, dalam hal ini PPP, di Kota Serang. Beberapa poin penting yang dikaji dalam artikel ini adalah mengenai strategi yang dilakukan Parpol, hambatan yang terjadi di lapangan, dan peluang-peluang yang akan diperoleh jika strategi politik tersebut dilaksanakan. Selain itu, data lapangan juga digunakan untuk melihat dan memotret secara real political behavior atau perilaku politik masyarakat kota Serang dalam Pemilu Legislatif tahun 2014. Komunikasi politik PPP dalam memeroleh suara dan meningkatkan elektabilitas menggunakan beberapa strategi, dari mulai komunikasi interpersonal dengan tokoh-tokoh, lembaga-lembaga keagamaan, dan juga patron di masyarakat. Meski demikian, hambatan dana dan terpaan berita politik memiliki andil dalam mengikis perolehan suara dan menghambat meningkatnya elektabilitas partai.

Abstract

Dakwah adalah tugas mulia yang disebutkan dalam al-quran dan hadits. Orang yang mendapat tugas dakwah dalam Islam adalah Nabi Muhammad, yang masa hidupnya telah berlangsung upaya-upaya merubah isi kitab suci sebelum al-quran seperti kitab Taurat, prilaku dakwah NabiMuhammad dimulai dalam hidupnya ditandai dengan kegiatan tahannuts, yang dilakukan di Gua Hira yang akhirnya menerima wahyu pertama. Dakwah merupakan aktivitas menyeru dan mengajak manusia kepada Iman, Islam, da Ihsan. Kewajiban dakwah tidak saja dibebankan Allah kepada Rasul-Nya, namun juga dibebankan kepada umat-Nya, sesuai dengan kapasitas dan kapabilitas masing-masing. Pada dasarnya jugakomunikasi merupakan ilmu retorika, sebagaimana telah dikembangkan pada zaman Yunani. Pada tulisan ini penulisan akan membahas tentang tujuan dakwah dan komunikasi.

Abstract

Effective communication between parents and children is a key element in establishing a harmonious, understanding, and supportive family relationship. In the digital era, social media has become an integral part of daily life, including within family communication dynamics. TikTok, as one of the most popular social media platforms, serves not only as a source of entertainment but also as a medium for building and displaying interpersonal relationships, including those between parents and their children. This study aims to explore how effective communication between parent and child is represented through the TikTok account @Shabiraalula&Ayah. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research analyzes various video content featuring father-daughter interactions to identify forms of communication present in their exchanges. The findings reveal that the communication displayed is characterized by openness, expressions of affection, humor, emotional support, and active engagement from both sides. The relationship portrayed in these videos reflects a healthy and balanced communication pattern that can serve as a positive example for a wider audience. Furthermore, social media proves to be a potential space for strengthening family bonds and promoting positive parenting messages. These findings emphasize that the wise use of social media can contribute to improving family relationships, especially between parents and children.

Abstract

The cultural communication of santri at Pondok Pesantren Riyadhul Awamil, a pesantren that integrates classical Islamic traditions with the dynamics of modern santri life, serves as the central theme of this study. The main focus is to examine how communication patterns are formed and practiced among santri, between santri and the kiai (Islamic teacher), and within the broader pesantren environment. The study employs a qualitative approach through field observation and in-depth interviews with key informants. The findings indicate that the communication culture within this pesantren is strongly influenced by Islamic values such as adab (etiquette), tawadhu (humility), and the spirit of ukhuwah (brotherhood). The language used is not only verbal but also symbolic, expressed through daily traditions such as studying classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning), acts of service (khidmat), and group discussions (musyawarah). This cultural communication functions not only as a means of conveying religious messages but also as a tool for shaping the character and identity of the santri. The study concludes that the cultural communication of santri at Pondok Pesantren Riyadhul Awamil plays a vital role in preserving pesantren values while serving as an effective medium of Islamic propagation both within and beyond the pesantren community.

Abstract

This article discusses the impact of social media usage duration on the communication patterns of the millennial generation, focusing on the Instagram account Folkative as a case study. In the digital era, social media has become the primary platform for millennials to interact and express themselves. This research identifies how the time spent on social media influences the way young people communicate, both digitally and face-to-face.Through content analysis and user engagement on Folkative, it was found that the duration of social media use correlates positively with engagement levels and changes in communication style, such as an increase in informal language and visual content. However, the study also notes emerging challenges, including a decline in face-to-face communication skills and mental health risks due to social media dependence. These findings highlight the importance of a deep understanding of social media's effects on millennial communication patterns and the need for strategies to maximize benefits while minimizing risks associated with social media use.

Abstract

Communication between parents and children plays a crucial role in shaping children’s social skills, especially when entering adolescence. Lack of effective communication can cause various social difficulties, such as low self-confidence, difficulty adapting to new environments, and problems in buiding interpersonal relationships. This study aims to analyze the impact of lack of parental communication on social difficulties experienced by adolescents. The results of the study showed that adolescents who lack open and supportive communication from their parents tend to have difficulty expressing emotions, interacting with peers, and dealing with social pressure. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of warm and open communication between parents and children to support healty social development during adolescence. Research method with a qualitative approach, with case studies, conducted through in-depth interviews with several teenagers who experience social difficulties due to lack of communication with their parents.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the communication strategies implemented in the Qur’an memorization (tahfidz) program at Al-Qur’an Ath-Thabraniyah Islamic Boarding School (Pesantren). The tahfidz program is a complex process that not only emphasizes the cognitive aspect of memorization but also involves deep emotional and spiritual approaches. Communication strategies serve as the main instrument in building understanding, creating acceptance, and motivating students (santri) to achieve their memorization targets. This research uses a qualitative approach with methods including observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain in-depth data. The findings reveal that tahfidz instructors apply communication strategies based on Pace and Faules’ theory, which consists of three main objectives: To Secure Understanding, To Establish Acceptance, and To Motivate Action. These strategies are applied through providing insight into the virtues of Qur’an memorizers, setting appropriate schedules for memorization activities, and delivering motivation through inspirational stories and the benefits of memorizing the Qur’an. The tasmi’ sessions, held regularly, also serve as a medium for evaluation and for strengthening the students’ spiritual and mental development. With effective communication strategies, the tahfidz guidance process becomes more efficient, thus enhancing students’ enthusiasm and discipline in memorizing the Qur’an optimally.

Abstract

Instagram social media has become an effective platform for spreading positive messages, including messages of peace, to a wider audience. This study aims to analyze the communication methods used in spreading messages of peace through content on Instagram. With a qualitative approach, this study examines various communication strategies, such as the use of attractive visuals, inspiring narratives, and two-way interactions between content creators and audiences. The results of the study show that content that combines elements of visual aesthetics, relevant messages, and emotional engagement of the audience can create a significant impact in spreading the values ​​of peace. In addition, collaboration with influencers and the use of Instagram features such as Stories, Reels, and Live have also proven effective in expanding the reach of messages. This study provides recommendations for communicators, activists, and organizations to optimally utilize Instagram as a medium for spreading messages of peace, while still paying attention to ethics and social responsibility in communicating.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of popular culture on the mindset of adolescents in Indonesia. Popular culture, such as music, films, social media, and fashion trends, has a significant role in shaping the way today's adolescents think, behave, and act. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data was collected through literature studies, observations, and interviews with several adolescents from various backgrounds. The results of the study indicate that popular culture can influence adolescents' perceptions of self-identity, social values, and lifestyle. In addition, the flow of globalization also strengthens the influence of foreign culture, causing a shift in the mindset of adolescents who tend to be more individualistic and consumptive. However, popular culture also provides space for creative expression and forms solidarity between adolescents. Therefore, it is important for educators and parents to provide assistance and media literacy so that adolescents are able to filter information critically and still uphold local values. This study is expected to be a reference in understanding the psychosocial dynamics of adolescents in the digital era.
