Abstract

Studi karya para Ulama Nusantara di Indonesia menunjukkan dinamika yang signifikan. Penemuan unsur lokalitas (kearifan lokal) di masing-masing karya Ulama Nusantara menunjukkan bahwa aspek kepulauan Nusantara mempengaruhi karya intelektualnya. Buku Fiqih dengan judul Majmu'at as- Shari'ah al-Kafiyah li al-'Awam adalah karya Kiai Sholeh Darat. Buku tersebut ditulis dengan menggunakan bahasa Jawa pada akhir abad 19, dan karyanya jelas menunjukkan elemen yang sangat menonjol dari wilayah ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis terhadap buku Majmu'at as- Shari'ah al-Kafiyah li al-'Awam dengan menggunakan pendekatan kearifan lokal ini, diharapkan masyarakat bisa memahami dan lebih mudah mengikuti pesan dari buku tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui bahwa aspek kearifan lokal dalam buku Majmu'at as- Shari'ah al-Kafiyah li al-'Awam muncul dalam hal-hal seperti penampilan, bahasa dan penjelasan. Dalam penafsiran dan bahasa, Kiai Sholeh Darat menggunakan naskah pegon, sebuah bentuk keaksaraan yang sangat umum digunakan oleh masyarakat Muslim tradisional, terutama di wilayah Jawa saat itu. Sementara itu, Kiai Sholeh Darat sering mengomentari masalah masalah Dayang Memule dengan penawaran (sajen), Perhitungan pasaran, Nyahur Tanah, Ukuran Timbangan (untuk Zakat) dan lain-lain.

Abstract

According to Kiai Ṣāliḥ Darat, kafā’ah means equal or similarity between the prospective bridegroom and bride in their perfect nature and lack. There are five categories of kafā’ah, 1) survivors of marital defects, 2) independence, 3) noble people, 4) fair and ‘iffah in religion, 5) good limbs and work. For him, property is not included in the category of kafā’ah because it cannot be measured and can be lost at any time. Using library research with the primary source of the book Majmu’āt al-Sharī'ah al-Kāfiyah li al-‘Awam by Kiai Ṣāliḥ Darat, the concept of kafā’ah will be elaborated. The collected data were analyzed using interpretive descriptive methods. This study concludes that treasure is not a priority in the kafā’ah category because it is not a gift but a trial. Treasure is not something noble, because it is not the legacy of noble people such as prophets, apostles, and previous salih people but the inheritance of despicable people like Qarun, Hamman, and Pharaoh. An ahlul ‘ilmi who married his daughter to ahlul arto, because of his wealth, he changed from ahlul ‘ilmi to ahlul jahli.

Abstract

This article discusses one of the important Islamic traditions in the coastal areas of Central Java, Indonesia, where the majority of Muslims receive moral teachings through the recitation of turāth from the local islamic clerics, known as Kiai. This form of Islamic tradition is represented by Pengajian Ahad Pagi in Semarang and Jamaah Muji Nabi (often abbreviated as Jamuna) in Demak Regency. Examining religious movements through a phenomenological approach, this study found that in delivering the religious materials both Pengajian Ahad Pagi and Jamaah Muji Nabi use the transmission method. Such an approach emphasizes the aspect of narration, in which the Kiai reads one of the turāth (classical Islamic books), interprets it word by word, and then explains it comprehensively. Besides, the educational style delivered by the Kiai in the two said turāth-based teachings emphasized the aspect of Sufism that involved sense. It stands to reason that the congregation feels motivated, both in terms of religious knowledge and morals, and is possibly not trapped in a binary mindset seeing religious issues in black and white as framed by the radical groups. The findings of this study indicate that Pengajian Ahad Pagi and Jamaah Muji Nabi found the continuity of their vision and initial idea in response to the culture and life of the surrounding community.

Abstract

This article discusses the idea of Political Ethics from one of the Indonesian scholars named Muhammad Cholil Bisri in the Book of Al-Durr Al-Rumbānī. This study is under descriptive qualitative research using a socio-historical approach and sociology of knowledge that studies the interrelationships between thought and society. The results of this paper state that in Islam; the political problem is the area of ijtihādī which has strong roots in Islam. The relationship between them can be called a mutually reinforcing symbiotic relationship (ʻalāqah indimājiyah). One of the influences of Islam in political traditions, for instance is its teachings on ethics that must inspire all policy issues. Even ethical configuration must also inspire the most important elements in the democratic political systems as called political parties. The term animates, explains that Islam as a system does not have to be realized in the form of formalization of sharīa or political Islam movements. In addition to ethics, the goals that result from political dynamics must be in the form of benefit (maqṣad al-siyāsah). Therefore, political work carried out in the corridor of truth can be considered as worship and deliver the politician to the noblest profession in the sight of God.

Abstract

This article discusses the ‘Quo Vadis Act’ on Mass Organizations law No 2, 2017 throughout the dynamics of the Islamic movement in Indonesia which will be described in two sub-formulation of the problems: 1. What are the motive and purpose of the birth of the Ordinance Act? 2. How does the response of the Islamic groups movement in Indonesia in seeing the mass organizations law? Furthermore, the results show that in order to protect the sovereignty of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia from radical ideas that contradict Pancasila as the ideology and philosophy of ‘NKRI’, the government has issued the Ordinance Act. Moreover, various responses appear; the anti-mainstream Islamic movement group represented by Hizb Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) has rejected the birth of the mass organization law. Although the reason for the birth of the law is considered as violating the freedom of human rights, however, the rejection is actually more to the historical-ideological reason. They consider that as an ideology of the country, Pancasila does not represent the teachings of Islam that requires the formalization of sharia. Meanwhile, for the mainstream Islamic group represented by Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), the ideology issued is an ijtihâdî region which focuses on the welfare and implemented on the basis of mutual commitment (al-Muslimūn bisyurūthihim). With that benefit approach, hence the birth of this social organizations act is judged appropriate at least as a preventive and a protective measures which have been undertaken by the government to maintain the integrity of NKRI and Pancasila as the ideology of the country.

Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 virus requires human interaction to be mediated by information and communication technology, including education. Educators must adapt to this change to become role models quickly. However, not all educators can use technology in online learning. For educators in the village who had never used information and communication technology for education, this adaptation process needed guidance in the acceleration, as a necessity of educators with ICT mastery capabilities in the information age and amid the pandemic situation. It takes a mentoring program for educators to improve their ability and competence on digital technology for learning management both luring and online. This program is intended for educators in MI Al-Hikmah Source of Simo Boyolali through a participatory approach. The training began by doing a pretest and continued FGD to map the potential and problems faced by the teacher. Based on the pretest and FGD,  we decided to conduct digital literacy training to improve educator competencies in managing online learning and luring. Penyebaran virus Covid-19 mengharuskan interaksi manusia termediasi oleh teknologi informasi dan komunikasi termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Pendidik dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan cepat terhadap perubahan ini agar tetap mampu menjadi role model. Namun demikian belum semua pendidik mampu memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran daring. Bagi pendidik yang berada di desa yang sebelumnya tidak pernah menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk pembelajaran, bimbingan dalam percepatan proses adaptasi ini perlu dilakukan. Sebagai sebuah keniscayaan pendidik dengan kemampuan penguasaan TIK di era informasi dan ditengah situasi pandemic.  Dibutuhkan program pendampingan bagi pendidik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kompetensi pendidik terhadap pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pengelolaan pembelajaran baik luring maupun daring. Program ini ditujukan untuk pendidik di MI Al Hikmah Sumber Simo Boyolali melalui pendekatan partisipatoris. Pelatihan dimulai dengan melakukan pretes dan dilanjutkan FGD untuk memetakan potensi dan masalah yang dihadapai guru. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan FGD kemudian diputuskan untuk melakukan pelatihan literasi digital untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik dalam mengelola pembelajaran daring dan luringKata kunci: Urgensi; Literasi Digital; Keterampilan; Pendidik; Pembelajaran

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pemikiran pendidikan politik Muhammad Cholil Bisri terutama dalam lokus kebangsaan yang dituangkannya dalam naskah Al-Durr al-Rumbānī fi al-Fiqh al-Siyāsī. Naskah yang disusun sebagai pedoman politik umat Islam ini memuat persoalan penting yang mengarah pada pemaknaan politik secara holistik. Sebagai alat perjuangan, persoalan politik tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kerja-kerja strategis umat Islam apalagi menafikannya. Dalam konteks demikian, sebagai pewaris Nabi, diperlukan peran para ulama sebagai politisi pendidik yang berpotensi mengawal pesan-pesan Islam dalam lokus kebangsaan. Salah satu pembahasan pendidikan politik dalam naskah ini adalah pendidilan loyalitas terhadap pemerintah meski dengan status oposisi, sebuah sikap yang mengarah pada gerakan konstruktif kebangsaan. Meski pandangan ini sudah lama disuarakan para pemikir awal Sunni dan menjadi pandangan politik kebangsaan NU, gagasan yang ditulis Muhammad Cholil Bisri ini tetap memiliki relevansinya dalam konteks politik kontemporer.
