Abstract

Efficient infrastructure development requires effective management, particularly in developing construction services. The Public Works (PU) Department of Tarakan City faces challenges in overseeing and guiding construction service providers to ensure smooth execution and project quality. This study aims to design and implement an integrated information system using the Scrum method, which supports construction service development, project progress monitoring, contractor data management, and budget supervision. Scrum was chosen to enhance flexibility and collaboration among development teams by allowing the system to be built iteratively and incrementally. The system is designed to improve transparency, efficiency, and accuracy in managing construction projects. The implementation results show that applying the Scrum method in developing the integrated information system has successfully accelerated the verification process, reduced administrative errors, and improved budget control. Additionally, the system has increased project management efficiency, expedited decision-making, and facilitated monitoring and evaluation processes. This study recommends further development and expansion of the system to support more effective construction service development in the future

Abstract

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in border areas such as Nunukan-Sebatik often face challenges in adopting modern technologies, which hinder their growth and competitiveness. This study employs a segmentation approach using agglomerative hierarchical clustering based on the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) to segment MSMEs in border areas and develop targeted strategies to accelerate technology adoption. A hierarchical clustering technique is applied to segment MSMEs according to their technology readiness levels. Data on technology readiness were collected through surveys, and the clustering results were analyzed to identify distinct MSME groups. The TRI score was 3.72, indicating a high level of technology readiness, which suggests that many MSMEs are open to technological innovation into their daily operations. The results also reveal that MSMEs in Nunukan-Sebatik can be grouped into two clusters based on hierarchical clustering:  Cluster 1, which consists of MSMEs that are more prepared and optimistic about technology adoption, and Cluster 2, which faces significant challenges. These findings highlight a digital readiness gap among MSMEs, where only a tiny portion (Cluster 1) is fully prepared, while the majority (Cluster 2) still encounters barriers to adoption.

Abstract

Data mining is a crucial process for extracting valuable information from existing data, which can then be used by companies for quick and accurate decision-making. One of the commonly used methods in data mining is the K-Means Clustering method. In this study, the author applied K-Means Clustering in the retail sector to address the challenges faced by PT. Patria Jaya Mandiri. The author designed an application that can cluster heavy equipment spare parts based on sales data, with the aim of helping the company identify which spare parts are most favored by consumers. This clustering is expected to simplify the process of determining optimal spare part stock, ultimately positively impacting the company’s revenue. The results of this study indicate that heavy equipment spare parts can be categorized into three groups: Most Popular, Popular, and Least Popular. Cluster 1 (Most Popular) consists of 3 data points, Cluster 2 (Popular) consists of 39 data points, and Cluster 3 (Least Popular) consists of 8 data points. This clustering result can serve as a guide for PT. Patria Jaya Mandiri in determining the optimal spare part inventory in the future.

Abstract

The development of e-government innovation in Indonesia in recent years has been initiated to create an integrated government system at both central and regional government levels. E-government has a very good impact on the implementation of government, namely the implementation of effective and efficient government. The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the factors that influence the implementation of e-government in the 3T Region of Jayawijaya Regency, Papua. This research using descriptive and qualitative methods. The sample in this study was 10 ASN in the Jayawijaya OPD and 100 Jayawijaya Regency residents. The indicators used are ease of access, always available, security and trust, integration, and cost. Based on data analysis, the results show that the indicators for ease of access, always available, security and trust, and integration received a poor rating. Then the implementation of e-government on cost indicators is felt to be cost-effective by the people of Jayawijaya Regency. Apart from that, it was found that there were 4 supporting factors and 6  inhibiting factors in implementing e-government. In this way, it is hoped that this research can be used as evaluation material in the implementation of e-government in the 3T Region of Jayawijaya Regency.
