Abstract

The globalization era has given many changes in some aspects of life such as women participation in work field. There are women can perform their potential ability in doing their work. The effects of doing their role, women oftentimes feel weary not only physical but also mental and emotional therefore it can influence their work performance and personal life. This condition is called by “burnout”. Burnout is influenced by individual, environment and cultural factor. Based on that problem, the researcher is interested to find out some factors that influence burnout for working women in Banyumas Regency. This research is quantitative by descriptive analysis design and the sample is chosen by simple random sampling. The relationship between characteristic of respondent demography and burn out was analyzed by Chi-Square and Sommers d test. The result of analysis are 55% respond are mild burnout and 42,5% are moderate burnout. Level of education, kind of work, amount of income and work duration are some factors that influence burnout for working women in Banyumas Regency. Based on that fact, it is needed some efforts to prevent sustainable burnout.

Abstract

Background: Breast cancer is the second largest cancer in Indonesia. Patients with advancedstage breast cancer in particular, are generally filled with anger and depression at the thought of her illness. Family support is essential in patient care, one example is the situation after breast removal surgery (Radical Mastectomy). Methods: This study is a qualitative study with phenomenological approach that aims to explore the role of family in providing support to the achievement of self integrity breast cancer patients post Radical Mastectomy. Participants were selected by purposive sampling method which is a family of post Radical Mastectomy patients in Prof.Dr.Margono Soekarjo hospital. There are six partisipants join this research. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews twice a further analysis of data using methods Collaizz's. Results: The research results show the role of family experience in providing support to the achievement of the integrity of the patient post Radical Mastectomy, covers six main themes: first, various assistance provided by the family, the less the support of the family as indicated by the husband who pays little attention and dishonesty diagnosis. Third, the family response to the condition and Fourth, the need at this moment perceived as a need for information about cancer and quality health services. Fifth, the various barriers in memendapatkan health services, and the Sixth, the various changes that occur in the family. Conclusion: The study provides implications of information regarding the role of family in providing social support to women post Radical Mastectomy and increase knowledge in providing nursing care to patients Breast Cancer Post Radical Mastectomy in Prof.Dr.Margono Soekarjo hospital, and help meet the diverse needs would social support to improve the quality of life of patients with breast cancer post radical mastectomy

Abstract

Therapeutic communication is very important to construct the therapeutic relation of nursepatient and influences the improvement of quality of treatment service. Success of terapeutik communication is influenced by some factors such as lack of nurse's knowledge and ability to apply the therapeutic communication. The purpose of this study was to know the relationship between knowledge of therapeutic communication towards the nurse's communication ability in implementing the treatment upbringing in Elisabeth Hospital Purwokerto. The descriptive Research type of correlation. Population research is all nurses in Maria lodge of Elisabeth Hospital Purwokerto in the amount of 26 people, The research sample is taken from 23 people in according to the inclusive criteria. Data analysis method uses the distribution of frequency and statistic test "Spearman Rank". Result of research: Respondens of DIII in nursing are as much as 15 people (65,2%) and responders, who have education of SPK are as much as 8 people (34,8%). Responders, who have followed the training of therapeutic communication, are 18 people (78,3%) and 5 people (21,7%) not yet followed the training. The grade of knowledge about terapeutik communication is in good enough category (52,2%) and the least is in the unfavorable category (8.7%). The ability of therapeutic communication is in the good enough category (56,5%) and the least is in the unfavorable category (4,3%). The obtained result of statistic test using Spearman's rho is 0,636 and p 0,001. Conclusion: Most of the nurses are of DIII treatment and have followed the training of therapeutic communication. Nurses' knowledge and ability of therapeutic communication are in good enough category. There is a meaningful relation between knowledge of therapeutic communication and ability of therapeutic communication of the Elisabeth hospital nurses in implementing the treatment up bringing (p= 0,001). The strength of relation between the knowledge of therapeutic communication and ability of nurse's therapeutic communication Ni implementing/doing the treatment upbringing is in strong category (Spearman's rho 0,636).

Abstract

The issues of nutrition problem are need a seriously attention for pregnant woman. It is not only a pregnant woman that responsible in these issues but also her husband responsibility. In fact, at the community showed that there are perceptions that nutrition problems for pregnant woman are only pregnant woman responsibility, because only women can feel and have experience of pregnancy so all of about pregnancy only for woman responsibility. This perception needs more attention because a pregnancy is the one of a long process for resulting health children and good generation. Nutrition factor is the one of supporting factor contribute to have healthy children .Therefore, the cooperation between the couple for giving attention at nutrition status can realize with real thing. Sharing task and responsibility at home should be emphasized between husband and wife. So nutrition problem for pregnant woman should become collective responsibility. This research described the husband’s role in maintenance pregnant woman nutrition status at Public Health Center Baturaden working area Banyumas district with qualitative design. This research did for 12 weeks with purposive sampling were a couple that had pregnant woman. Collecting data was done with in depth interview and participating observation or unstructured observation. The result of this research showed that there was a low level husband’s role in maintenance pregnant woman nutrition status with predisposition factors were lack of knowledge economic factor and gender equity perception in their family responsibility

Abstract

The success of treatment in cases of mental disorder should not be simply imposed on a psychiatric unit, especially when patients were treated at a mental hospital. But it should be followed up with monitoring of treatment when the patient has returned home and cared for by family. One of the important agenda for health workers in the psychiatric unit is to conduct home visits to patients with mental disorders when the patient has been allowed to go home. It can bring a positive impact on families as well as for patients who visited by the health officers. The study was conducted qualitatively with the aim to determine the perception of mental patients after getting home visit by health officers. Indepth interviews were conducted on 8 patients and were analyzed using Collaizzi analysis techniques. The study identified four themes: (1) there was a positive response of patients toward home visits by health officers, (2) needs for mental health information were identified, (3) there was an expectation of mental health services and (4) patient's negative thoughts were identified. Recommendations based on the results of this study is that a structured home visit programs should be appliedin each unit of mental health services,so the aim of psychiatric nursing interventions can be achieved optimally either in hospital or in the community. The family is also expected to enhance its function and continue to provide motivation and encouragement for patients so that patients can re-socialize and productive, return to normal for the field work.

InSub-ProvinceofPurbalinggafrom 133 existing Polindes, 78 among others have become Polyclinic Health of Countryside which the was place of spread over inSub-ProvinceofPurbalingga.Intention of this research is to know the image of exploiting of Polyclinic Health of Countryside as extention of hand of Puskesmas inSub-ProvinceofPurbalingga. This Research is descriptive research by using sampling purposive that is counted 30 Polyclinics Health of Countryside with criterion reside in Sub-Province of Purbalingga and have stood more than 6 months. Data the taken is amount of amount of society visits to medicinize to Polindes and society visit to medicinize to Polyclinic Health of Countryside. Data Visit which in taking is last 3 months data.Result which in getting mean of amount of society visits to tired Polindes 36 people per month, while for the Polyclinic of Health of tired Countryside 58 people per month. Abstract

During the Covid 19 pandemic, a safe, efficient and effective educational method for diabetes patients is needed. Currently, an online-based education has developed, but this education is one-way, so the monitoring process is not getting enough attention. For this reason, it is necessary to develop online-based education in two directions so that there is interaction between patients, families and health workers. The purpose of this study is to develop a two-way online application-based education. The research method is research and development design. In the first phase, an online-based education development will be carried out with stages of design activities, validation and application acceptance testing. The results showed that an online application-based educational prototype named Telemondia had been composed and was validated by two diabetes education experts and two IT (Information Technology) experts. The following results from expert validation show the average aspect of ease of use of application is 90%; content clarity is 96.87%; aesthetic is 84.75%; instructional quality is 87.5; and feedback quality is 85.42% , with an average overall aspects of 87.87%. This shows that Telemondia is very feasible to use. Furthermore, in the acceptance test for 25 diabetic patients, the results of this acceptance test show ease of use of application is 92%; content clarity is 93%; aesthetic is 84%; instructional quality is 87; and feedback quality is 86%. The average overall aspect is 88.11%, which means that Telemondia can be accepted by patients. Further development will be made to add features that allow recording audio and video.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Mahasiswa menggunakan instagram dengan intensitas penggunaan yang bervariasi. Instagram merupakan media berbasis online yang memungkinkan penggunanya untuk membuat profil, mengunggah kegiatan sehari-hari, serta mengundang atau menerima pertemanan untuk bergabung dalam situs tersebut. Penggunaan instagram yang berlebihan diduga dapat menyebabkan perubahan kegiatan keseharian mahasiswa termasuk istirahatnya. Metodologi: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Besar sampel adalah 225 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi yaitu mahasiswa keperawatan angkatan 2017-2019 yang masih aktif, memiliki akun instagram, dan bersedia menjadi responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang dibuat sendiri oleh peneliti dan telah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Korelasi kedua variabel diuji dengan uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian: Karakteristik responden rata-rata berusia 20 tahun, sebagian besar perempuan, memiliki akun instagram lebih dari 1 tahun (92,9%), frekuensi mengakses perhari lebih dari 6 kali (35,1%), waktu mengakses pada malam hari (55,1%), durasi mengakses instagram kurang dari 1 jam (49,8%), dan durasi tidur sehari semalam lebih dari 5 jam (69,3%), responden mengaku mengalami insomnia (91,6%), dan gambaran penggunaan instagram kategori intens (81,8%). Hasil uji korelasi Chi Square menunjukkan p value 0,000 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara penggunaan instagram dengan insomnia pada mahasiswa di Jurusan Keperawatan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Kata kunci: instagram, insomnia, mahasiswa

Abstract

The number of adolescents in the Purwokerto area is the third highest in the Central Java Province. Adolescence is very closely related to the puberty period which is accompanied by sexual development. This condition makes adolescents are prone to various forms of behavioral problems, such as having sex before marriage and drug abuse, both of which can carry risks to HIV / AIDS transmission. It is very important to instill good morale in the younger generation through youth organizations, such as youth organizations and counseling information centers. However, teenage health problems were found, especially in the area of Linggasari Youth Center and the “Gibita” Information Counseling Center/ Pusat Informasi Konseling (PIK) such as lack of understanding of HIV / AIDS, the dangers of smoking, and adolescent reproductive health. To overcome this problem, we trained Adolescent Counselors. Classroom learning, problem based solving, participatory learning, role play were used in this project. The result revealed that this activity enhances the understanding of knowledge and skills of new counselors on adolescent health problems. In addition, we also produced modules and film (roleplay and educational videos) of adolescent health problems counseling.

Abstract

Children with special needs usually take many pshycological problems caused by social respons on their dissability. Support from society on them will be useful for their skills development (Efendi, 2008).This research was aimed to identify socialization skills between special needs children and also normal children and how them receive social support especially from their parents. This is descriptive analitical research withcross sectional approach. Undertake in school of special needs children ini SLB Yakut, Purwokerto dan SDN 04 GrendengPurwokertoheld in July-Agustus 2010, take 16children with special needs and 11normal children fromi SD Grendeng. There were two variable measured : social support and social skills. The result were social skills on the children with special needs were 14 children in good category, and 2 children was not. All of normal children have good category of socialization skills (100%). Keyword: children with special needs, social support, socialization skills
