Abstract

Belimbing Darah (Baccaurea angulata) atau umin merupakan salah satu jenis endemik yang ada di Kalimantan. Manfaat dari belimbing darah yaitu selain buah sebagai edible , bagian lain dari tumbuhan ini juga dapat digunakan sebagai obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Habitat dan Pola Persebaran Belimbing Darah (Baccaurea angulata) pada kawasan Berhutan di Desa Pelimping Kecamatan Kelam Permai Kabupaten Sintang. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi dan wawasan tentang habitat dan pola persebaran Belimbing Darah yang terdapat pada kawasan Berhutan di Desa Pelimping Kecamatan Kelam Permai Kabupaten Sintang khususnya, serta menjadi database dalam upaya memanfaatkan dan melestarikan Belimbing Darah umumnya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode Jalur. Penentuan jalur dilakukan dengan sytematis sampling with random start. Adapun jumlah jalur dibuat sebanyak 4 buah, berjarak 200 m pada tiap jalur dengan panjang jalur disesuaikan dengan kondisi dilapangan. Pengamatan analisa vegetasi digunakan petak pengamatan ukuran 20 m x 20 m secara kontinyu. Hasil penelitian diketahui 24 jenis tumbuhan yang tumbuh di sekitar Belimbing Darah yaitu Omak/Tampoi, Mentawak, Jambu Monyet/ Jambu Tengkalak, Kemayau, Manggis Hutan, Asam Kandis, Kelampai, Keranji, Petai, Kepuak/Benda, Tapang/Menggiris, Pelaik/Pulai, Gaharu/Engkaras, Mawang, Langsat/Duku, Bungkang/Buah Ubah, Asam Pelam, Kemantan/Bacang, Lilinang, Durian, Kapur, Cempedak, Kedondong Hutan, Meranti, dan Nyatoh. Jenis tanah pada lokasi penelitian tergolong tanah Debu/Lempung berpasir. Rerata curah hujan bulanan pada saat penelitian adalah 226,60 mm, suhu udara bulanan 27 °C, rerata Kelembaban Relatif bulanan 89 %. Pola persebaran Belimbing Darah dari perhitungan Indeks Morisia dari seluruh jalur pengamatan didapatkan hasil indeks yang < 1 , dari hasil tersebut maka diketahui bahwa pola persebaran Belimbing Darah adalah acak. Belimbing Darah yang tumbuh secara acak menunjukkan adanya interaksi yang saling menguntungkan diantara individu-individu yang ada, namun demikian tumbuhan dengan pola pertumbuhan acak justru dapat meningkatkan kompetisi dalam hal unsur hara, cahaya matahari, dan air. Sehingga faktor lingkungan tempat tumbuh menjadi hal yang penting dalam pola penyebaran yang secara acak ini. Hal ini menjadi informasi bagi masyarakat setempat guna menjaga kawasan berhutan di Desa Pelimping ini untuk tetap lestari dan menjadi habitat yang sesuai untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan Belimbing Darah di wilayahnya.

Abstract

Abstract This reseach is the meaning to get information on the relationship of scout ectrakurikular activities to student achievement in SMA N 1 X Koto Singkarak. The purposed of this studi is to obtan informaton on: 1) Student achievement, 2) Scout extracurricular activities and 3) The relationship of Scout extracurricular activities to student learning achievement. The populati in this studi is the whole student who follows the extracurricular scouts in SMAN 1 X Koto Singkarak amounted to 228 people. The sample in this studi amouted to 66 peoples using the Slovin formula and take with proportonal stratfied random sampling techniq. The reseach instrumen use is questionaire using the Likertscale model with 5 answers the answers that have been teste validitiy and reliabilitiy by using SPSS version 16.0. Data analyze usng product moment corelation formula. The result of data analysis show 1) the achievement of low-category student's study is 67.8% 2) Excillant activity of scouting category is quite good 73% and 3) There is a significant relationshipp between scout extracurricular activities on student achievement in SMAN 1 X Koto Singkarak R hitung at 0.728> R tabel 0.24 and Thacung value 8,495> Ttable 1.980 at the level of confidence 95% of this study showed that there is a mean relationship on the scout extracurricular activities to student achievement at SMAN 1 X Koto Singkarak. This means that the scout extracuricular activites are one of the factor that affect student achievement in SMAN 1 x Koto Singkarak.

Abstract

Abstract: The arrangement of architectural light, including natural and artificial, is the ability that is expected to be mastered by the architect because light plays an important role, both in terms of security, health, comfort, and visual aesthetics of buildings.  The existence of libraries in the world of education is highly prioritized, especially at a university to support learning and teaching activities so that the existence of the library should be the center of attention. The library is one of the workplaces where most activities rely heavily on the eyes, therefore good lighting in the library room will improve work comfort for employees and students. Based on SNI 03-6197-2000 concerning Energy Conservation in Lighting Systems, the average lighting level in library reading rooms is 300 lux. This research was carried out with the main objective was to find out the level of lighting in the reading room of the Budi Luhur University library and its compatibility with SNI. The research method used is a quantitative method by reading literature relating to natural lighting, field observation, measuring with a light meter tools. The scope of this research is the level of lighting in the library reading room. The results of this study indicate that the average value of lighting intensity or strong lighting naturally in the library reading room on the 2nd floor is 272 lux, and the library reading room on the 3rd floor is 663 lux. Based on SNI 03-6197-2000 concerning Energy Conservation in the Lighting System, the lighting of the library reading room on the 2nd floor does not meet the standard, while the average value of natural lighting intensity in the reading room on the 3rd floor exceeds the standard and will cause other problems, namely glare which can interfere with the convenience of library users. Keyword: daylighting, illumination, libraryAbstrak: Penataan cahaya arsitektural, meliputi alami dan buatan merupakan kemampuan yang diharapkan dikuasai oleh arsitek karena cahaya memegang peranan penting, baik dari segi keamanan, kesehatan, kenyamanan, maupun estetika visual bangunan. Keberadaan perpustakaan pada dunia pendidikan sangatlah diutamakan, terlebih lagi pada sebuah Universitas untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar dan mengajar maka sudah semestinya keberadaan perpustakaan menjadi pusat perhatian. Perpustakaan merupakan salah satu tempat kerja yang sebagian besar kegiatan sangat mengandalkan mata. Oleh sebab itu pencahayaan yang baik di ruang perpustakaan akan meningkatkan kenyamanan dalam bekerja bagi karyawan dan mahasiswa. Berdasarkan SNI 03-6197-2000 tentang Konservasi Energi pada Sistem Pencahayaan, tingkat pencahayaan rata-rata pada ruang baca perpustakaan adalah 300 lux. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan utama adalah mengetahui tingkat pencahayaan pada ruang baca perpustakaan Universitas Budi Luhur dan kesesuaiannya dengan SNI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan membaca literatur yang berkaitan dengan pancahayaan alami, observasi lapangan, melakukan pengukuran dengan alat luxmeter. Lingkup penelitian ini adalah tingkat pencahayaan pada ruang baca perpustakaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata intensitas pencahayaan atau kuat penerangan secara alami pada ruang baca perpustakaan di lantai 2 adalah sebesar 272 lux dan pada ruang baca perpustakaan di lantai 3 sebesar 663 lux. Berdasarkan SNI 03-6197-2000 tentang Konservasi Energi pada Sistem Pencahayaan, pencahayaan ruang baca perpustakaan di lantai 2 belum memenuhi stadar, sedangkan nilai rata-rata intensitas pencahayaan alami pada ruang baca lantai 3 melebihi standar dan akan menimbulkan permasalahan lainnya yaitu terjadinya silau (glare) yang dapat mengganggu kenyamanan pengguna perpustakaan.Kata Kunci: Pencahayaan Alami, Intensitas Pencahayaan, Perpustakaan

Abstract

Human resources are one of the supporting elements of an organization, which can be interpreted as humans who work as humans who work within an organization, as a driving force in achieving its goals. Humans who have competence are assets and function as vital non-material capital in the organization. There are two reasons why human resources influence the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations, designing and producing goods and services, monitoring quality, marketing products, allocating financial resources and determining all organizational goals and strategies. This research uses quantitative analysis using the SPSS program. Based on the results of testing the first hypothesis, it was found that the compensation variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pasaman Regency Public Works Office. So in this research the first hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Based on the results of testing the second hypothesis (H2), it was found that the work stress variable had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pasaman Regency Public Works Office. So, in this research the second hypothesis (H2) is accepted. Compensation (X1) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pasaman Regency Public Works Office, so the conclusion is that the first hypothesis is accepted. Job stress (X2) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pasaman Regency Public Works Office, so the conclusion is that the second hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Permen keras adalah konfeksioneri populer dari sukrosa, sirup glukosa dan air, dan seringkali ditambahkan zat aditif (perasa, pewarna, dan asam). Produk konfeksioneri diasosiasikan dengan nilai kesenangan bagi konsumen. Meski diasosiasikan erat dengan perbaikan suasana hati dan kebahagiaan, konsumen mulai menuntut produk lebih sehat. Gula aren dan madu trigona dapat mengurangi penggunaan gula tebu sebagai bahan baku permen keras. Terdapat 5 formulasi permen keras kombinasi gula aren, gula tebu, dan glukosa (dalam gram) (58:173:19(G1), 56:169:25(G2), 55:164:31(G3), 53:159:38(G4), 50:150:50(G5)) serta air 83 g dan madu trigona 15 g. Rasio gula aren dan gula tebu 1:3 dengan glukosa ditambahkan hingga mencapai berat total. Produk akhir dianalisis untuk karakteristik fisikokimiawi (kadar air, pH, gula pereduksi, dan kekerasan) dan organoleptik (uji parameter hedonik dan uji mutu hedonik dengan atribut rasa, warna, tekstur, dan kelengketan; melibatkan 72 orang panelis tidak terlatih). Kelima formulasi permen memiliki rentang kadar air 0,19%-0,24% dan kadar gula pereduksi 10,51%-11,63%, sesuai dengan SNI 3547:2008 yang mengharuskan kadar air < 3,5% dan maksimum gula pereduksi 24 %. Nilai pH berkisar antara 5,76-6,14 dan kekerasan 181,90-209,55. Uji organoleptik menunjukkan bahwa permen G1, permen dengan kadar gula aren tertinggi dibanding formulasi lain menjadi permen yang paling disukai konsumen. Permen G1 memiliki kadar air 0,19, pH 6,07, gula pereduksi 11,23 dan kekerasan 209,55, dengan rasa agak manis, warna coklat, tekstur keras, dan agak lengket.

Abstract

Karang Sidemen Village is located in Nort Batukliang Subdistrict, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. This village has promising potential for coffee bean production, which can significantly improve the welfare of the local community if managed properly. This potential includes various coffee varieties that can thrive in the nutrient-rich volcanic soil, offering unique flavors that can compete in both national and international coffee markets. However, this potential has not been fully optimized due to a lack of knowledge and education among farmers and the local community. Best practices in post-harvest handling of coffee beans, such as proper picking, correct processing, and optimal storage, are still not fully understood and implemented. Many farmers still use traditional methods that are less efficient, which can lead to a decrease in coffee bean quality and, ultimately, lower selling prices. To address these challenges, initiatives are needed to organize inclusive socialization and training activities that engage the entire community. Through socialization sessions, farmers and the local community will gain a deep understanding of the importance of applying proper picking methods and accurate coffee bean processing practices. Practical training sessions will enable farmers to enhance their skills, ensuring that each post-harvest stage is carried out with high efficiency and avoiding unwanted quality loss. By implementing the best practices obtained through these socialization and training efforts, Karang Sidemen Village is expected to overcome existing barriers. Through these efforts, it is hoped that coffee harvests can be optimized and the quality of local coffee products significantly improved. This will not only provide direct benefits to farmers but also increase the competitiveness of coffee products from this village in both local and international markets. With comprehensive education, it is expected that the local community can become agents of change to achieve higher quality standards, realizing the extraordinary potential of Karang Sidemen Village’s coffee plantations. Furthermore, collaboration with research institutions and universities can open opportunities for innovation in coffee cultivation and processing techniques. Research focusing on superior coffee varieties, environmentally friendly processing techniques, and effective marketing strategies can add value to coffee products from Karang Sidemen Village. Thus, this village will not only be known as a producer of high-quality coffee but also as a center of innovation and education in the coffee industry.

Abstract

The use of social media in brand management and marketing has become increasingly important, but companies face several challenges in maximizing the potential of social media. Key issues include the need to create relevant and engaging content, overcome content fatigue, respond to algorithm changes, and proactively manage brand reputation. This study aims to explore various aspects related to the use of social media in brand management and marketing. Using a qualitative approach and case studies of several brands that actively use social media, this study investigates the role of social media in building brand awareness, effective marketing strategies, and the impact of influencer collaboration. The findings show that social media can increase brand awareness at a lower cost and with a wider reach compared to traditional media. In addition, the use of visual content and analytical tools on social media has been shown to increase the effectiveness of marketing strategies. Collaboration with influencers is also considered to have a significant impact on expanding brand reach and building more personal relationships with audiences. This study provides recommendations for companies to manage content and collaboration with influencers more carefully to improve marketing effectiveness and maintain brand reputation on social media.

Abstract

Used cooking oil has great potential as a raw material for biodiesel due to its abundant availability and low price, but its quality often decreases due to high free fatty acid and impurities content. This study aims to examine the effect of variations in simple filtration compositions on improving the quality of used cooking oil before the conversion process into biodiesel. The filtration process was carried out using a combination of simple media such as activated charcoal, fine sand, and zeolite in certain ratios. The parameters tested included the density value at 15°C (kg/m³), the kinematic viscosity value at 50°C (mm²/s), and the calorific value (kcal/g) of the produced biodiesel. The experimental method involved several variations in filtration compositions followed by a standard transesterification process. The results of the study showed that the optimal filtration composition was able to produce B40 biodiesel at a temperature variation of 50-60 15°C with a density value of 868.5 kg/m³, a kinematic viscosity of 3,570 mm²/s, and a calorific value of 9772.4 kcal/g according to the standard range of SNI 7182:2015. In addition, biodiesel from simply filtered used cooking oil can be used as a generator fuel with an energy efficiency performance of 34.79% in an 8.5 kVA generator test. This finding provides an alternative for simple, inexpensive, and environmentally friendly used cooking oil processing to support the availability of renewable energy.
