Abstract

The City of Banjarmasin has very low soil bearing capacity leading to a significant number of buildings experiencing foundation settlement. This causes many elements of the buildings to develop cracks and to lean. The foundation settlement is modelled using ANSYS by taking five building structure models with brick walls loaded with their selves weight. Through this modelling the crack pattern and the stress distribution on both walls and the structural elements can be visualised and identified. The results show that the following columns experiencing foundation settlement develop longitudinal cracks, crack patterns on brick walls are diagonal at every bottom corner of the columns and vertical at the edge of the inner columns if there is no foundation settlement. Crack patterns on brick walls take form of a letter V if only one or two outer column experience foundation settlement, and crack patterns on brick walls also take form of an inverted letter V if only the inner columns or two adjacent columns experience foundation settlement. Foundation settlement experienced by inner columns of a brick wall is a major cause of damage to structural components.

Abstract

The condition of soil in Banjarmasin which is dominated by wetland with a soil bearing capacity of as low as 0.2 kg/cm2 means that buildings require costly foundations. This condition requires that developers be more selective and perform optimisation in choosing types of soft-soil foundations to ensure maximum profit from the building investment. The objective of this research is to optimise the use of a given building area by assigning different types of sub-structure subject to a number of constraints. Optimization is used by operations research methods which are solved by Integer Programming Software QM for Windows version 2.1 and is based on the development of a housing fictitious data X type-36 in Banjarmasin. The analysis result showed that the composition of the optimum number of types of houses built is for type-A 30 units, type-B 17 units, and type-C 20 units with maximum profit of Rp.4,000,000,000, the required development area is 5,360 m2 with production costs required Rp.20,000,000,000 and the construction time of all types of houses is along 67 weeks.

Abstract

Recently, the need of the high strength concrete is increased, because of the rapid technology development in the concrete technology area. In the performing of the high strength concrete is rather difficult on the mixing, pouring, and vibrating, because, the raw concrete mix is very viscous. The aim of this research is to find out the ideal slump value of the high strength concrete mix which is used the local aggregate with superplasticizer and silica fume, therefore it can be performed the good workability of the fresh concrete and design strength of the concrete (f’c = 50 MPa) could be reached. The experiment was conducted by compressive strength testing on one hundred twenty cylinder specimens with the slump value of 0-10 mm, 10-30 mm, 30-60 mm and 60-180 mm. As the result of the test is obtained the idealized design slump value is 30–60 mm. Abstract

The soil in Banjarmasin City is of soft clay type having a very low bearing capacity. Hence, it is normal for buildings in this area to have gelam wooden piles as part of the foundation. Foundations based on gelam wooden piles rely on friction which results in the building experiencing differential settlement, tilt, and cracks on the structural elements. This foundation settlement will be modeled using ANSYS software involving fifteen building structural models with brick walls under loads according to SNI 1727:2013 and due to settlement at the support. The modeling aims at understanding the effects of using tie beams on the pattern of structural damage in buildings that experience differential settlement on soft soil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan tie beam pada pondasi pada tanah lunak berpengaruh terhadap pola kerusakan. Pada tanah keras, ini tidak membawa efek seperti itu tetapi sebaliknya, itu meningkatkan tingkat ketidaktentuan statis struktur. Dalam kasus portal bentang tunggal, pola retakan menyerupai huruf "V" terbalik jika penurunan terjadi pada tumpuan samping. Di portal bentang ganda, di sisi lain, pola retakan dinding bata menyerupai huruf "V" jika penurunan terjadi pada penyangga samping, dan "V" terbalik jika terjadi di antara penyangga.

Abstract

To make a building requires a strong foundation to withstand the load on it. the Physical Work Project, Renovation and Expansion of the District Court Building requires heavy equipment management in the form of piles, the piling method used is the Hydraulic Static Pile Driver. The pile management is needed to find out the estimated working time on the entire building so that the implementation goes according to or does not exceed the planned project time. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the efficiency of the piling tool. The results of the descriptive analysis in this study obtained the production value of the Hydraulic Static Pile Driver tool. The highest production value was 0.23 meters/minute, and the lowest value was 0.21 meters/minute. The time required to complete the project erection work based on the planning is nine weeks, while the realization in the field to complete it in seven weeks. The planned implementation cost to complete the erection work for this project is Rp. 2,073,360,000. Meanwhile, the cost of field realization is Rp. 2,481,150,000. this means that the implementation costs in the field are greater than the planning costs of Rp. 407,790,000 this was due to the addition of 828.00 m3 of pile procurement volume and 828 m3 of piling and handling work, and 138 nos of pile connections.

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap pelaksanaan Proyek Pembangunan Gedung X di kota Banjarmasin yang memerlukan pengerjaan yang cepat  sesuai dengan permintaan pemilik, agar gedung tersebut dapat segera difungsikan.Metode yang digunakan untuk percepatan proyek ini adalah hanya penambahan jam kerja/lembur, dengan waktu 1 jam kerja/lembur, 2 jam kerja/lembur, dan 3 jam kerja/lembur agar diperoleh efisiensi biaya dan waktu yang optimum. Percepatan waktu proyek ini dianalisis menggunakan metode crash dengan membandingkan penambahan jam kerja/lembur  pada Proyek Pembangunan Gedung X di kota Banjarmasin.Pembangunan proyek diselesaikan dengan durasi normal 72 hari dan biaya sebesar Rp. 298,406,300.00. Setelah dilakukan percepatan waktu proyek, maka diperoleh waktu percepatan optimum pada penambahan 3 jam kerja/lembur dengan durasi 58 hari dan biaya sebesar Rp. 370,806,300.00. Kata kunci : Metode Crash, Percepatan Waktu, Analisis Penambahan Jam Kerja

Abstract

Dunia konstruksi telah  berkembang pesat, khususnya untuk perhitungan  analisis dan desain struktur yang telah banyak berkembang menuju penggunaaan software-software aplikasi komputer. Dengan menggunakan software perancangan struktur bangunan terasa lebih cepat, akurat, dan efisien, dibandingan dengan perancangan secara manual yang memerlukan waktu yang sangat lama. Dalam tulisan ini akan dibahas penggunaan software Staadpro V8i dalam perancangan struktur beton bertulang 4 lantai dengan fungsi sebagai gedung perkantoran yang berada pada daerah tanah lunak di kota Banjarmasin Timur. Dengan menggunakan software akan dilakukan kombinasi pembebanan berupa kombinasi antara beban mati, beban hidup, dan beban gempa, sehingga diperoleh gaya yang paling maksimum yang akan digunakan dalam desain elemen struktur. Hasil dari penerapan software Staadpro V8i ini adalah berupa gaya-gaya dalam (gaya momen, lintang, normal), serta deformasi struktur yang terjadi. Selain itu juga diperoleh desain penulangan  elemen struktur berupa gambar penulangan lentur dan geser pada setiap elemen struktur (balok dan kolom).Kata kunci: perancangan struktur beton, analisis dan desain struktur, Staadpro V8i

Abstract

Kota Banjarmasin umumnya terdiri dari tanah rawa yang memiliki lapisan tanah keras yang sangat dalam sekali, yaitu berkisar antara 25 m sampai dengan 50 m, sehingga umumnya bangunan mengunakan pondasi tiang gelam dengan diameter berkisar antara 8 sampai dengan 15 cm dan panjang 4 m. Penggunaan pondasi tiang gelam hanya mengandalkan lekatan (friction), sehingga  akan  mengakibatkan  bangunan  mengalami  penurunan  pondasi  yang tidak  seragam (differential settlement), kemiringan, dan keretakan pada elemen struktur. Penurunan pondasi ini akan  dimodelkan  dengan  software  ANSYS  dengan  mengambil  limabelas  model  struktur bangunan dengan dinding bata yang akan dibebani dengan beban standar bangunan menurut SNI1727:2013, dan beban akibat penurunan tumpuan. Permodelan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan balok sloof terhadap pola kerusakan struktur bangunan yang mengalami penurunan  pondasi  yang  tidak  seragam  di  tanah  lunak.  Hasil  dari  penelitian  ini  adalah penggunaan balok sloof pada pondasi yang mengalami penurunan tidak seragam akan mempengaruhi pola kerusakan elemen struktur, sedangkan pada pondasi yang tidak mengalami penurunan penggunaan balok sloof tidak mempengaruhi pola kerusakan elemen struktur tetapi akan meningkatkan derajat ketidaktentuan statis struktur. Pola kerusakan dinding bata umumnya mempunyai pola retak diagonal, dan berdasarkan pola tegangan Von Misses dapat diketahui lokasi elemen struktur yang berpotensi mengalami kerusakan. Kata kunci: retak, dinding bata, penurunan pondasi, ANSYS
