Abstract

Oil sludge is a product of petroleum mining activities and causes environmental pollution. However, oil sludge, including hazardous and toxic waste materials (B3), has been less effective in reducing oil sludge pollution. Thus, the researcher solved the issue by using hydrocarbonoclastic. It is necessary to use hydrocarbonoclastic bacteria isolated directly from their habitat (indigenous bacteria) as hydrocarbon degrading agents. Therefore, this study aimed to isolate and identify indigenous thermophilic bacteria from East Kalimantan Oil sludge. This study is an observational study that is analyzed descriptively. Procedure for isolation and identification of thermophilic bacteria from oil sludge grow on Synthetic Mineral Water media (SMW) with and without an autoclave. The Microbact Identification System Kit GNB 24E was used to characterize colonies macroscopically, microscopically, Gram staining, physiological tests (catalase, coagulase, and motility tests), and biochemically. The bacteria that were successfully isolated were later identified with Microbact Software and Bergey's book Manual of Determinative Bacteriology Ninth Edition. The results of the isolation and identification of thermophilic Indigenous bacteria from Oil Sludge Kalimantan Timur found Pseudomonas aeruginosa species with a similarity accuracy of 98.33%. The identified bacterial isolates can later be used as bioremediation agents on soils polluted with oil sludge. Keywords : Indigenous bacteria, Oil Sludge, Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas Lembar Kerja Siswa Berbasis Strategi Pengintegrasian Bentuk-Bentuk Scaffolding pada Materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia untuk Melatihkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development dengan rancangan 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate) yang terbatas pada tahap develop yaitu validasi oleh ahli materi dan praktisi lapangan dikarenakan adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang menyebabkan tidak dapat melakukan uji coba produk. Sasaran penelitian yaitu Lembar Kerja Siswa pada materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia untuk kelas VIII SMP/MTs. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui uji validasi menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi. Data hasil validasi dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Lembar Kerja Siswa yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai validitas 3,54 (valid) yang terdiri atas: (1) aspek topik dengan kriteria sangat baik; (2) aspek tujuan dengan kriteria sangat baik; (3) aspek organisasi dan isi dengan kriteria baik; (4) aspek pengintegrasian bentuk-bentuk scaffolding dengan kriteria sangat baik; (5) aspek melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan kriteria sangat baik; (6) aspek pertanyaan dengan kriteria baik; (7) aspek kegrafisan dengan kriteria sangat baik; (8) dan aspek kebahasaan dengan kriteria baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lembar Kerja Siswa Berbasis Strategi Pengintegrasian Bentuk-Bentuk Scaffolding pada Materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia untuk Melatihkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis yang dikembangkan dinyatakan “valid” atau layak diujicobakan dengan modus kriteria seluruh aspek “sangat baik”

Abstract

Students' scientific literacy is influenced by various factors, including the choice of teaching materials used at school. An ethnobotanical atlas based on local wisdom is a collection of information or images that identify and document plants that exist around a particular community's residence or area, which can also be used by humans as food, medicine and so on. This research aims to determine the influence of ethnobotanical atlas media based on local wisdom on students' scientific literacy. This research is a pre-experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was students of class X MIA 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya. The data collection technique uses a written test. Data analysis was carried out statistically using normality tests, homogeneity tests, T and N gain tests. The results of the analysis showed that the data was normally distributed. The results of the T test show a significant effect of using ethnobotanical atlas media based on local wisdom on students' scientific literacy with a significance level of 0.000<0.05. Meanwhile, the results of the N-Gain test show that the use of ethnobotanical atlas media based on local wisdom is quite effective in increasing scientific literacy and can be alternative learning resource

Abstract

Abstrak:  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Examples Non Examples dan tipe Think Pair Share, serta mengetahui keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Examples Non Examples dan tipe Think Pair Share pada materi perubahan lingkungan dan daur ulang limbah terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas X MA Ma’arif 7 Banjarwati Lamongan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah True Eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan modifikasi dari Posttest Only Control Group Design. Sampel penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas X IPA MA Ma’arif 7 Banjarwati Lamongan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes tulis. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan statistik Uji-T. Hasil analisis data kemampuan berpikir kritis diperoleh nilai sig sebesar 0,04 (ƿ<α) dan hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh nilai sig sebesar 0,04 (ƿ<α) maka Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan berpikir antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Examples Non Examples dan tipe Think Pair Share (2) terdapat perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar kognitif siswa antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Examples Non Examples dan tipe Think Pair Share (3) keterlaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Examples Non Examples maupun tipe Think Pair Share dalam kategori sangat baik. Katakunci: :  Model kooperatif tipe Examples Non Examples, Kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share, Kemampuan berpikir kritis, Hasil belajar kognitif.   Abstract:  This research aims to determine the differences in critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes of students between cooperative learning models on Examples Non Examples types and Think Pair Share types, and to determine the implementation of cooperative learning models on Examples Non Examples and Think Pair Share types in environmental change and recycling material waste on critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes of class X MA Ma'arif 7 Banjarwati Lamongan. This type of research is True Experimental with research designs using a modification of the Post-test Only Control Group Design. The research sample was a class X students of  MA Ma'arif 7 Banjarwati Lamongan. Data collection techniques used observation and written tests. Data were analyzed qualitativelydescriptive and T-Test statistics. The results of the data analysis of critical thinking skills obtained sig value of 0.04 (ƿ <α) and cognitive learning results obtained sig value of 0.04 (ƿ <α) then Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that (1) there is a significant difference in thinking ability between cooperative learning models Examples Non Examples and Think Pair Share types (2) there are significant differences in student cognitive learning outcomes between cooperative learning models Examples Non Examples and Think Pair Share types (3) the implementation of the cooperative learning model Examples Non Examples and the Think Pair Share types in the category is very good. Keyword:  Cooperative model Examples Non Examples type, Cooperative of  Think Pair Share type, Critical thinking ability, Cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

Sanggara Bimbingan (SB) Muhammadiyah Kepong Kuala Lumpur Malaysia yang didirikan sejak 2022 oleh Pimpinan Cabang Istimewa Muhammadiyah Malaysia (PCIM), sampai saat ini masih menghadapi berbagai masalah dalam pemberikan layanan pendidikan kepada warga migran Indiensia. Guru pengajar atau tenaga pendidik atau pembimbing di sanggar masih kurang. Kurangnya tenaga pendidik pada lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Indonesia yang ada di Malaysia, berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pendidikannya. Bukan hanya jumlah tenaga pendidik atau pembimbing di sanggar yang masih kurang, tetapi permasalahan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru atau tenaga pendidik di SB juga belum sesuai dengan berkembangan tantangan jaman sekarang dan masa yang akan datang. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan wawasan pemahaman dan keterampilan pedagogik kepada tenaga pendidik melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan penyusunan RPP Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Projek.  Sasaran pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah tenaga pendidik SB Muhammadiyah Kepong Kuala Lumpur Malaysia sebanyak 11 orang guru atau pendamping. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah pendidikan dan latihan atau workshop. Setelah dilakukan pengabdian selama 1 bulan, peserta (guru/pembimbing) SB Kepong memberi respon, yaitu: 1) Sebanyak 60% menyatakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sangat bermanfaat, 2) Menurut 80% guru/pembimbing materi yang disampaikan sudah sesui, (3) metode penyampaian  menurut 40% guru/pembimbing sangat sesuai, dan (4) Sebanyak 60% guru/pembimbing setuju jika pengabdian diadakan lagi dengan masalah yang lain. Kesimpulan dari hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat Internasional di SB Kepong Kuala Lumpur Malaysia sangat bermanfaat dan perlu dilakukan kembali di masa yang akan datang. Development Of Project-Based Learning Model Lesson Plans For Supervisors at SB Muhammadiyah Kepong Kuala Lumpur Malaysia Sanggara Guidance (SB) Muhammadiyah Kepong Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, which was founded in 2022 by the Leadership of the Special Branch of Muhammadiyah Malaysia (PCIM), is still facing various problems in providing educational services to Indonesian migrant citizens. There are still not enough teachers or teaching staff or supervisors in the studio. The lack of teaching staff at Indonesian educational institutions in Malaysia has an impact on the quality of education. Not only is the number of teaching staff or supervisors in studios still lacking, but the problem is that the learning methods used by teachers or teaching staff in SB are also not in line with the development of current and future challenges. This community service aims to provide insight into understanding and pedagogical skills to teaching staff through education and training in preparing RPP Project-Based Learning Models. The target of this community service is SB Muhammadiyah Kepong Kuala Lumpur Malaysia's teaching staff, totaling 11 teachers or assistants. The service methods used are education and training or workshops. After serving for 1 month, SB Kepong participants (teachers/supervisors) responded, namely: 1) As many as 60% stated that community service was very useful, 2) According to 80% of teachers/supervisors the material presented was appropriate, (3) method According to 40% of teachers/supervisors, the delivery was very appropriate, and (4) 60% of teachers/supervisors agreed if the service was held again with other problems. The conclusion from the results of service to the international community at SB Kepong Kuala Lumpur Malaysia is very useful and needs to be done again in the future
