Abstract

Teachers in Sikka Regency contributed to the Driving Teacher Education Program Batch 4 according to the mandate of the Minister of Education and Culture in the Freedom to Learn Policy Episode 5. As teachers at LPTK we capture ideas and opportunities in following the dynamics of efforts to develop teacher competency so that it becomes a reflection in the learning process that liberates for graduates can become driving teachers. This study aims to analyze the ability of the driving teacher in leading learning that liberates students. This research was conducted using a field survey which was supplemented by questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation as a method of data collection. Data analysis uses data reduction, data triangulation, and data synthesis to parse conclusions. The results of the study show that prospective teacher mobilizers are able to lead learning in the process of driving teachers edication program.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the critical thinking skills and creativity of Class XI MIA students in static fluid material by implementing a problem-based learning model with contextual content. The research was conducted at SMAK Santa Maria Monte Carmelo Maumere, with the participants from Class XI MIA in the academic year 2023/2024. Data collection utilized tests to assess students's critical thinking skills and observations to evaluate creativity. The data analysis employed a descriptive quantitative approach. Research findings indicate that the average critical thinking skills score for students is 83, surpassing the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set by SMAK Santa Maria Monte Carmelo Maumere. Additionally, the average creativity score for students is 68.75%, falling within the good category. These outcomes suggest that the implementation of the problem-based learning model with contextual content effectively enhances the level of critical thinking skills and creativity on Class XI MIA students in static fluid material.

Abstract

SMAN 1 Titehena is one of the high schools that has a shortage of classrooms so that the physics laboratory is used as a classroom. In addition, the practicum equipment in the physics laboratory is also incomplete. Due to the limitations of these practical tools, physics learning only takes place in the classroom and students only learn theory without ever doing practicum. This makes students feel bored and saturated when participating in physics learning. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques where students' perceptions were measured using a questionnaire. The results showed that the average percentage of the first indicator of the use of virtual laboratories (PhET Simulation) was 74%, the ease of use indicator of virtual laboratories (PhET Simulation) was 81%, the difficulty indicator of using virtual laboratories (PhET Simulation) was 56%. Thus it can be said that the perception of students in class XI Mia 1 SMA Negeri 1 Titehena towards the use of virtual laboratories (PhET Simulation) in learning physics on Hooke's Law material as a whole received a positive response.
