Abstract

Balai Laboratorium Kesehatan (BLK) Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah merupakan satusatunya pusat rujukan laboratorium kesehatan di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah. Oleh karena itu dalam pelaksanaan tugas dan fungsinya senantiasa diarahkan agar memenuhi standar pelayanan yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil observasi menunjukan bahwa pada Tahun 2014 jumlah kunjungan konsumen di BLK relative menurun hingga 10 % jika dibandingkan tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Berdasarkan pendapat para ahli, bahwa kepuasan konsumen merupakan salahsatu faktor yang mempengaruhi jumlah kunjungan konsumen ke pusat pelayanan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggambarkan tingkat kepuasan konsumen berdasarkan indikator tampilan fisik (Tangible), kompetensi (Competence), kesopanan (Coursty), keamanan (Security) dan indikator kemudahan akses (Accessibility). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan observational Study dengan pendekatan survey. Populasi adalah seluruh konsumen Balai Laboratorium Kesehatan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah pada Tahun 2015, sedangkan sampel adalah konsumen yang berkunjung di BLK pada saat penelitian berlangsung. Teknik penarikan sampling menggunakan metode Accidental Sampling dan data dianalisis secara univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat kepuasan konsumen terhadap penampilan fisik BLK adalah 3.12, kompetensi (3.23), kesopanan (3.22),) kemudahan akses (3.15),keamanan (3.26). Sehingga diperoleh rata-rata tingkat kepuasan konsumen BLK Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah pada Tahun 2015 adalah 3,20 pada interval 79,92 yang berarti mutu pelayanan Balai Laboratorium Kesehatan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah mencapai kategori “baik’ (B).

Abstract

Di Indonesia prevalensi kecacingan mencapai angka di atas 20% dengan prevalensi tertinggi adalah 76,67% pada Tahun 2012. Sedangkan di Kalimantan Tengah prevalensi kecacingan mencapai 5.56 % yang tersebar merata di seluruh Kabupaten/Kota. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran infeksi kecacingan pada siswa SDN 1-4 Desa Muara Laung Kabupaten Murung Raya Tahun 2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observational study dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa yang terdaftar di SDN 1-4 Desa Muara Laung, sedangkan sampel adalah siswa kelas I sampai kelas VI yang aktif pada pada Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan metode cluster sampling dimana semua siswa dipilih secara acak berdasarkan kelas masing-masing. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara serta pemeriksaan feses langsung (natif) dengan menggunakan larutan NaCl 0.9 % dan data dianalisis secara univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada siswa SDN 1-4 Desa Muara Laung yang terinfeksi kecacingan yang ditandai dengan tidak ditemukannya telur dan atau larva serta cacing dewasa dalam specimen tinja yang diperiksa (0.0%).

Abstract

The Central Health Laboratory (BLK) of Central Kalimantan Province is the only one health laboratory referral center in Central Kalimantan Province. Therefore in carrying out their duties and functions they are always directed to meet the standards defined service. Observation results show that in 2014 the amount Consumer visits at the BLK decreased by a relative 10% compared to years previous. Based on the opinion of experts, that customer satisfaction is one factor that influences the number of consumer visits to a service center. Aim this research is describing the level of customer satisfaction based on indicators of Tangible, competency, courtesy, security, and accessibility indicators. This study uses an observational study design with a survey approach. The population is all consumers of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Health Laboratory Center in 2015, while samples were consumers who visited the BLK at the time research is underway. Sampling withdrawal technique uses Accidental Sampling method and data were analyzed univariately. The results showed that the level of customer satisfaction with appearance BLK physicality is 3.12, competence (3.23), politeness (3.22),) ease of access (3.15), security (3.26). So that the average level of satisfaction of BLK Province consumers is obtained Central Kalimantan in 2015 was 3.20 at an interval of 79.92 which means quality the service of the Central Kalimantan Health Laboratory Center reached the category "Good" (B).

Abstract

In Central Kalimantan, it is reported that the cumulative number of HIV and AIDS reached 810 people, with the highest proportion being housewives (19.4%). This number is even higher when compared with HIV / AIDS in Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) which is 7.4%. For homemakers, the reality of getting HIV / AIDS is related to social construction in the community which places women as the second class, so stigmatization and discrimination often occur. Whereas in some cases for women housewives affected by HIV / AIDS having double burdens such as pregnancy, babies conceived are at risk of contracting HIV, caring for children, caring for a sick husband and sometimes being the backbone of the family because family expenses are increasing. Therefore in the HIV and AIDS control program, the anxiety level of HIV / AIDS patients is a bridge to control the complications of HIV/AIDS in the AIDS stage. Based on the description above, the researchers were interested in researching the anxiety level of HIV (+) homemakers in the City of Palangka Raya. The general objective of this study was to describe the anxiety level of HIV (+) homemakers in Palangka Raya City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative design. Qualitative research was used withconsideration of the focus of attention of researchers is the anxiety level of housewives with HIV/AIDS (+) in the City of Palangka Raya. The technique used in collecting research data is participant observation (participant observations) in-depth interviews and documentation. The implementation of the three data collection techniques is not rigid but sees the right situation. An illustration of the level of anxiety in HIV positive housewives who were respondents, it was found that respondents with mild anxiety levels were 9.5%, while those with moderate anxiety levels were 28.6%, respondents with severe anxiety levels were 38.1%, of which the highest percentage of respondents is at the level of severe anxiety, this is indicated by the results of the rate of respondents' answers, while the respondents with panic/severe anxiety levels were obtained as much as 23.8%. This was felt by respondents with a high level of anxiety, namely discomfort in the extended family, even though the husband could accept the situation but his extended family, in-laws, and siblings were unable to take the presence of HIV positive respondents.

Abstract

The cumulative number of HIV & AIDS in Central Kalimantan Province continues to increase where in 2017 there were 807 reported cases. Based on observations of the situation faced by people with HIV & AIDS is very complex, in addition to having to deal with their own disease, they also face stigma and discrimination that affects the low motivation of patients' lives. Most sufferers experience physical, psychological and social problems that require comprehensive interventions (medical, nutrition, social support and psychotherapy/counseling. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of social support on the motivation of living ODHA in Central Kalimantan Province. This type of research is an observational study with a cross-sectional study approaching. Results of research conducted on life motivation from participants obtained extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation themes Social support received by people with HIV / AIDS Participants have the same view that they get various forms of social support. And the following forms social support that researchers obtained from interviews with participants formed in the themes, namely physical support, emotional support, security support, skills support, social support and economic support Source of social support obtained by people with HIV / AIDS. In this study, the theme was obtained sources of external support and internal support sources. Four social themes are expected by HIV / AIDS sufferers. The theme is facilities to meet economic needs, health facilities, health support and community views of people with HIV / AIDS positive.

Abstract

The results of the 2017 IDHS show that the level of child morbidity in Indonesia is still quite high with the main symptoms found are ARI, diarrhea, and fever. Meanwhile, 43% of infants do not get breast milk, 48% do not get exclusive breastfeeding and 60% of children receive food not in accordance with WHO recommendations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of feeding patterns on the level of child morbidity in Indonesia by analyzing the IDHS data in 2017. The method was a cross-sectional study. The population was women of childbearing age realized in the 2017 IDHS and sample who had children aged ≤ 2 years and having sick during the survey period. The sample was excluded if the children had died or lived with other people and had a history of birth weight <2500 gram. Data analysis using chi-square test and multivariate analysis with logistic regression. The results showed that the pattern of giving complimentary food (p-value = 0.033 and OR=1.214) influenced the level of child morbidity in Indonesia.

Abstract

Housewives living with HIV AIDS are a new trend in the HIV epidemic in Indonesia. Overall heterosexual transmission is the primary mode of transmission that dominates new case findings (69.6%) in 2017. Cumulative frequency of HIV/AIDS is 810 cases in Central Kalimantan. Housewives (19.4%) were the highest group after the private group. The purpose of this study was to look at the psychological determinants of housewives living with HIV (+) in Central Kalimantan Province. The method of this study was an observational analytic cross-sectional study. The population is patients who visit RSUD dr. Sylvanus Palangka Raya, RSUD dr. Murjani Sampit, Sultan Immanudin Pangkalanbun Hospital, and RSUD Dr.H Soemarno S Kuala Kapuas. Samples are excluded if there are psychiatric disorders and death sickness. The results showed that sociodemographic variables such as age, marriage history, ethnicity, education level, employment status, number of children, length of diagnosis and phase of HIV were not the psychological determinants of the respondents (p> 0.05).

Abstract

Smoking is a public health problem because it can lead to various diseases for smokers and the people around him. Cigarettes kill more than half user, nearly 6 million people a year are made up of smokers and former smokers and 600 thousand non-smokers exposed to secondhand smoke. When you do not control, tobacco-related deaths will rise rapidly to 8 million in the year 2030. The prevalence of smoking in Indonesia reached 36.3% in the year 2013, and on all levels of society. Smoking trends continue to increase from year to year both in men and women alike. This paper describes the smoking behavior to describe the behavior of smoking by age, gender, place of residence, education, employment, the index quintile ownership and number of cigarettes smoked per day. The source of data is secondary data Riskesdas 2013 that comprehensively analyzed through literature review and theory. The results showed that the age of 34-54 years, male gender, residence in rural, low education and have jobs with proprietary index quintile down to lower middle is a reasonably significant determinant factor on smoking behavior in Indonesia.

Abstract

In Central Kalimantan province efforts to manage type 2 diabetes millitus have been undertaken to reduce the prevalence of case and risk factors. Based on the results of Riskesdas 2013.Medical records of Doris Sylvanus Hospital in 2015, the number of diabetes millitus patients has increased from 375 cases in 2014 and 514 cases in 2015. The purpose of this study was to determine the sociodemographic and clinical monitoring independently by people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Design studyis ovbservasional with descriptive approach were population is people with type 2 diabetes millitus who visited Dr.Doris Sylvanus Palangka Raya hospitaland had been diagnosed for more than 1 year. Data were collected through direct interviews with respondents and medical records of respondents.The results showed thatthe majority of respondents were more than 50 years old (76%), female (59%), were married (91.8%), worked as civil servants / police / military (37.2%) and did not work (27.9%). based on the length of diagnosis, the majority have been diagnosed for more than 3 years (63.4%).The average independent clinical monitoring of respondents for their health condition was 41.05% and there were 57.65% of respondents who did not conduct routine health monitoring. The results also showed that 100% of respondents did not monitor neuropathy and monitor erectile dysfunction. Whereas respondents who monitor HbA1c are only around 1.1%

Abstract

Severe dengue or Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) occurrence in Palangka Raya frequently becomes epidemic. The morbidity rate (incidence rate) of DHF cases in Central Kalimantan in 2016 reached 69.1 per 100,000 population with the mortality rate (fatality rate) of 1.4%. The morbidity rate reached 278.4 per 100,000 population in Palangka Raya, the second place after North Barito regency. Based on the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia’s Strategic Planning (Renstra), targets for dengue fever in 2016 should be <49 per 100,000 population, Central Kalimantan Province has not achieved the target yet. The Central Kalimantan Provincial Health Office reported the epidemy of DHF in 2017 occurred in the working area of Menteng Community Health Center. The report found a case that all family members of a household suffered from DHF. This community service aimed to educate the community to survey of dengue larvae independently, to develop the community’s knowledge and awareness about the importance of support from larvae monitoring speculator Juru Pemantau Jentik (also briefly known as Jumantik) and to increase community participation in DHF prevention movement in Palangka Raya. The method of this community service used site survey, observation, interview, larva examination and reporting of results. The survey activity of larvae showed that Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae were identified in 13.3% of the houses, mostly found in bathtubs, water shelters and water container of water dispensers.
