Abstract

Kualitas layanan pendidikan dapat diamati dengan cara mengukur sejauh mana institusi pendidikan sebagai pemberi layanan dapat memberikan jaminan mutu kepada penerima layanan. Pemerintah melalui Kepmenpan Nomor KEP/25/M.PAN/2/2004 telah membuat pedoman penilaian kepuasan pelanggan bagi setiap institusi pelayanan termasuk institusi pendidikan. Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangka Raya sebagai institusi yang memberikanlayanan pendidikan perlu untuk mengukur kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepuasan pelanggan terhadap layanan di Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangka Raya. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey dengan alat bantu kuesioner. Responden dalam penelitian inisebayak 437 orang yang terdiri atas mahasiswa, dosen, tenaga kependidikan, orang tua, alumni, dan stakeholder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilaiindeks kepuasan mahasiswa, dosen, danorang tua masuk dalam kategori baik, dan kategori sangat baik untuk nilai indeks kepuasan tenaga kependidikan, alumni dan stakeholder. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum pelayanan di Poltekkes Kemenkes Palangka Raya dapat memberikan kepuasan kepada mahasiswa, dosen, tenaga kependidikan, orang tua, alumni, dan stakeholder.

Abstract

Contraceptive devices and medicine have a very strategic value in supporting family planning operations.This study therefore aims to determine the trend of contraceptive need and usein Dayak societies, andanalyze the supply chain as well as the management of contraceptives required to fullfill this need. Theresearch design used a case study, and qualitative data were obtained from in-depth interviews supported bysecondary data. Meanwhile, quantitative data were collected through questionnaire survey, and data analysiswas performed using the triangulation method. Subsequently, the results of qualitative data analysis werecombined with the results of quantitative data analysis to acquire final conclusions. In Dayak societies,injections are the contraceptive form most required and used by people in the local community (30.21%).Furthermore, there is a significant correlation between need and use of contraceptives (Sig. = 0.000). Thedemand for contraceptives is based on the remaining stock at the health center, as well as the community’srequest. During the acceptance process, the quality, quantity, and type of contraceptives are checked, andcounseling is provided, especially for new acceptors. Meanwhile, the suitability of the contraceptive storageconditions at the health center was discovered to be 61.46%, compared to the standard. Currently, supportingmanagement isnot run optimally, especially in terms of formulatingan operating standard procedure, aswell as monitoring, evaluating, and implementing training.Thus, the availability of contraceptives at thesupplier and local community’s need for contraceptives are taken into consideration and as a strategy formanaging contraceptives in the Primary Health Care of Dayak societies, in order to ensure the availabilityof contraceptives at Puskesmas and fullfill the contraceptive needs of Dayak societies.

Abstract

The quality of education service can observe with how the institution gives a quality asurance. The government pass-through Kepmenpan No: KEP/25/M.PAN/2/2004 have made guedeline to assess of costumers satisfaction for every institution belonging to the educational institution. Health Polytechnic Palangka Raya as an educational institution has given education serve need to measure costumers satisfaction. The survey has been a method on this research with a questioner as the instrument. 437 people have been a respondent on this research consists of student, lecturer, staff, parent, alumni, and stakeholder. The result of the research have shown the student, lecturer, and parent satisfaction index value belonging to a good actual performance and very good for staff, alumni, and stakeholder. Thereby, it is generally that educational services on Health Polytechnic Palangka Raya were given satisfaction to the student, lecturer, staff, parent, alumni, and stakeholder.

Abstract

Kontrasepsi merupakan alat/obat yang memiliki nilai yang sangat strategis dalam menunjang operasional program Keluarga Berencana. Pada tahun 2012, di Badan Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Keluarga Berencana (Badan PP dan KB) Kota Palangka Raya serta puskesmas se Kota Palangka Raya, masih ditemui masalah terkait penyimpanan dan distribusi alat/obat kontrasepsi (alokon). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai praktik pengelolaan penyimpanan dan distribusi alokon di Badan PP dan KB Kota Palangka Raya pada tahun 2012. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan rancangan case study yang menggunakan data retrospektif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dengan pengisian daftar tilik dan observasi dokumen yang diambil secara retrospektif, sedangkan data kualitatif diperoleh dengan wawancara mendalam di Badan PP dan KB Kota Palangka Raya dan puskesmas se-Kota Palangka Raya yang dilaksanakan pada tahun 2012. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa persentase kecocokan antara barang dengan kartu stok di Badan PP dan KB Kota Palangka Raya adalah sebesar 100%, namun hal ini tidak terjadi di puskesmas. Penyimpanan alokon di Badan PP dan KB tidak 100% berdasarkan prinsip FEFO. Masih ditemukan alokon yang kadaluwarsa dan mengalami stok mati. Terdapat penyimpangan antara jumlah alokon yang diberi oleh Badan PP dan KB dengan yang diminta oleh puskesmas. Banyak puskesmas yang pernah mengalami kekosongan beberapa jenis stok alokon dalam satu tahunnya. Kegiatan penyimpanan dan distribusi alokon di Kota Palangka Raya pada tahun 2012 jika dilihat dari persentase pencapaian indikator penyimpanan distribusi serta pemenuhan unsur CDOB secara umum masih belum memenuhi standar yang berlaku.

Abstract

Background: Pumpkin production in Indonesia is quite high but its utilization is still low. Public knowledge related to pumpkin is very simple, starting from how to process it until become a food product. Pumpkin can be processed into various kinds of food like steamed cake. Aim: The aim of this research is to determine the right concentration of pumpkin and wheat flour from the panelist's point of view in an effort to improve the organoleptic quality and acceptability of the pumpkin steam cake.  Methods: This is an experimental research with a completely randomized design. The first stage is making of pumpkin steam cake consist of three concentration variations of pumpkin vs wheat flour. The formulas are P1 (10% : 90%), P2 (20% : 80%) and P3 (30% : 70%). The second stage is to carry out organoleptic and acceptability tests. The data is processed and analyzed descriptively. Results and discussion: Most of panelists was very liked with pumpkin steam cake that using P3 formula compared to the P1 and P2 formulas. The steam cake that produced using the P3 formula has a very yellow color, very distinctive aroma of pumpkin, very sweet taste, and very soft texture. Conclusion: The substitution of pumpkin in the manufacture of steam cake can improve its organoleptic quality and acceptability. This finding is expected to provide information regarding the use of pumpkin as a food product, so it can increasing people's consumption of nutritious food.

Abstract

Dragon fruit is cultivated in Indonesia and has a high vitamin C content.The consumption of dragon fruit is still lacking and the use into processed food products is still limited.The objective of this study was to analyze of vitamin C content, sensory quality, and level of preference of dragon fruit ice cream.This is experimental research with a Completely Randomized Design. The addition of dragon fruit, in formula P1 as much as 350 g, formula P2 400 g, formula P3 450 g, formula P4 500 g.The data were processed and analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the organoleptic test, it was obtained that P1 formula was the most chosen with a very distinctive aroma and very soft texture, P3 formula was the most chosen with a sweet taste, and P2 formula was the most chosen with a purple color. The results of the dragon fruit ice cream preference test showed that the majority of panelists liked the aroma, taste, texture of P3 formula, and the color of P4 formula. Dragon fruit ice cream has a vitamin C content of 33.7-47.8 mg/100. It can be conclude that the majority of the panelists liked the aroma, taste, texture of the P3 formula, and the color of the P4 formula. Dragon fruit ice cream contained Vitamin C met the standard consumption requirement/day (30-60 mg/day). Abstract

Background: Stunting in Indonesia remains a significant health issue that cannot be overlooked. Stunting can be addressed through the consumption of foods derived from both animal and plant sources, which are high in protein and rich in essential amino acids beneficial for preventing stunting. The provision of biscuits fortified with catfish and spinach flour is anticipated to assist the government in reducing the prevalence of stunting.Objective: The aim of this study was to develop a functional food product formula utilizing catfish and spinach flour while also analyzing the nutritional content of the resultant biscuits.Method: This research employed three biscuit formulas with varying ratios of catfish and spinach flour, specifically F1 (15 g : 45 g), F2 (30 g : 30 g), and F3 (45 g : 15 g). Chemical analyses conducted on the biscuits included tests for moisture content and ash content using the gravimetric method, protein analysis utilizing the Kjeldahl method, fat analysis via the Soxhlet extraction method, and carbohydrate analysis employing the titrimetric method.Results: Based on the tests of the three biscuit formulas, it was found that the biscuits with formula F3 meet the minimum requirements outlined by the SNI, except for ash content. The protein content was 11.03%, the fat content was 31.073%, the water content was 2.26%, and the ash content was 2.98%. The protein content in formula F3 was higher than that in formulas F1 and F2 and has a high enough iron content at 5.025 mg/100 g.Conclusion: It can be concluded that biscuits with the F3 formula meet the nutritional values required by SNI regarding protein, fat, and water content. This formula has an opportunity for further development to enhance the carbohydrate, iron, and ash content of the biscuit to comply with SNI standards.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya untuk mencegah ledakan jumlah penduduk adalah dengan menurunkan persentase unmet need. Data Perwakilan BKKBN Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah menunjukkan bahwa unmet need di kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur belum mencapai target nasional tahun 2020 yaitu 8,60%, bahkan capaiannya cenderung mengalami peningkatan yaitu 10,5% di tahun 2019 menjadi 11,65% di tahun 2020. Untuk menurunkan persentase unmet need, perlu dilakukan eksplorasi penyebab terjadinya unmet need. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penyebab terjadinya unmet need ditinjau dari aspek suku, budaya, perceived need-demand, dan manajemen logistik alat dan obat kontrasepsi (alokon). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional yang melibatkan 135 responden. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Secara umum, alasan mengapa responden tidak menggunakan alokon paling tinggi disebabkan karena masih ingin memiliki anak, dan kedua yaitu takut dengan efek samping alokon, sedangkan alasan lainnya yaitu dilarang suami, budaya melarang penggunaan alokon, alokon tidak tersedia, dan mengonsumsi jamu tradisional. Terdapat 14,5% responden yang menggunakan alokon tidak sesuai dengan peceived need-nya. Ketidaksesuaian antara perceived need dan demand diprediksi dapat menyebabkan akseptor berhenti menggunakan alokon. Penting khususnya bagi pemerintah untuk mempertimbangkan masalah efek samping alokon dan kesesuaian antara perceived need dan demand. Kata kunci : unmet need, alat dan obat kontrasepsi

Abstract

Spinach is a leafy green vegetable that contains various nutrients and antioxidant compounds. Meanwhile, Pangas catfish contains calcium and minerals that are very good for health. Spinach and Pangas catfish can be utilized as raw ingredients to manufacture functional food products in the shape of cookies, increasing the nutritional value and antioxidant content of the cookies to increase the fulfillment of food and public health needs. This research was conducted from February to July 2024. Cookies were prepared with three variations of spinach flour to Pangas catfish flour ratio designated as F1 (45:15), F2 (30:30), and F3 (15:45). Analysis of mineral, vitamin C, TPC, TFC, and antioxidant activity was performed on each cookie formula. The study results showed that the mineral content in terms of potassium and calcium was in the range of 323.538 to 671.186 mg/100g and 44.307 to 93.006 mg/100g, respectively. Meanwhile, the bioactive compounds in the form of vitamin C, TPC, and TFC were in the range of 9.92 to 20.02 mg/100g, 16.74 to 24.97 mg GAE/g, and 32.55 to 110.84 mg QE/g, respectively, and the antioxidant activity was 8.11-17.84%. The cookies prepared using the formula F1 showed significant content of minerals, i.e., potassium and calcium, vitamin C, TPC, TFC, and significant antioxidant activity. These cookies have the potential to be developed as a functional food product that is rich in nutrients and antioxidants to better meet the nutritional and public health needs.
