Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research which aims to (1) find out the descriptions of Balinese women in Sulandri's concubine by I Made Iwan Darmawan which is studied based on the study of communication ethnography and (2) to know the description of Balinese women in the short story of Kaede Bedolot by Gede Aries Pidrawan, study of ethnographic communication. Sources of data in this study are two short stories of Sulandri's concubine by I Made Iwan Darmawan and Kaung Bedolot by Gede Aries Pidrawan which contains the description of Balinese women figure. The research method used is documentation study method. Processing or data analysis is done through data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification of research data. This research will provide the description of Balinese women in two short stories and has the benefit of being a learning media in the lectures, enriching the material of literary analysis, and enriching the treasury of critical discourse analysis, art, and culture of Indonesia especially Bali. The results of this study indicate that in the work of short story (short story) Selir Sulandri by I Made Iwan Darmawan who studied based on the study of communication ethnography, Balinese women described as women who follow patrilineal lineage, high social position, forced to marry early for the social and political status of the family , to experience polygamy, to impinge on the sexual desires of men (kings / husbands), jealousy, envy, gossip, and possessive jealousy, subjugation to men's power, discrimination, courage in the midst of situations critical, and must be willing to perform mesatia ritual. In the short story of Kaung Bedolot by Gede Aries Pidrawan, the figure of Balinese women is described not as different as that of wanting a coveted marriage, having polygamy, following patrilineal lineage, being forced to marry early for the social and political status of the family, doing housework, resigned and sincerely accepting fate, become victims of domestic violence, be brave in the middle of a discouraging situation, and end up with deaths from domestic violence. The result of this research is useful both theoretically and practically for students, lecturers, literature lovers, and education. Other researchers are expected to conduct further research in more depth.

Abstract

This research categorized as Research and Devenlopment (R&D) that aims to (1) describe and identify the design process and the feasibility of learning materials of Bali based on Balinese culture, (2) to describe and analyze the responses of VII grade students of SMP PGRI 3 Denpasar towards the development of Indonesian language based materials of local culture Bali. The data obtained through observation, interview, and questionnaire methods. Furthermore, the collected then analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the development of Indonesian language learning materials based on local Balinese culture included into very well category. It was based on the validation results by the subject matter expert who gave an assessment with an average score of 88.42. The results of the pilot test, both initial field trials and major field trials also showed an average score of 90.28 and 92.50 included in the excellent category. Moreover, a good response is also obtained in this study, the overall average score given by students as users of teaching materials is 4.45 included very positive category. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed teaching materials are feasible to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This research is descriptive research with the purposes; (1) Obtaining objective illustration about locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech action in the learning process of Indonesian of eleventh grade MIPA 7 of SMAN 7 Denpasar in academic year 2018/2019. (2) Finding out the factors that influence the appearance of locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech action in the Indonesian learning process of eleventh grade MIPA 7 of SMAN 7 Denpasar in academic year 2018/2019. The data collection was done by observation, interview and record techniques. The obtained data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive. The locutionary speech acts that spoken by teacher and student in the learning process of Indonesian were 27 utterances, the illocutionary were 36 utterances and perlocusionary   were 36 utterances, teacher and student deliver their speeches in the classroom based on their speech mode which is to convey intentions to interlocutor and the emergence of perlocutionary speech acts in the learning process of Indonesian was influenced by two factors; the teacher who has extensive knowledge about perlocutionary speech acts, so that the teacher could use the speech acts in the learning process, teacher and student deliver their speeches in the class room based on their speech mode with the purpose of the speech which is delivered to have power of influence or effect for interlocutor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implikatur percakapan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Pada Program Studi Akuntansi Semester I FEB Unmas Denpasar, dan faktor - faktor yang menyebabkan munculya implikatur percakapan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada Program Studi Akuntansi Semester I FEB Unmas Denpasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dan dosen dalam mata kuliah bahasa Indonesia pada Program Studi Akuntansi Semester I FEB Unmas Denpasar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa wujud implikatur percakapan yang ada dalam proses pembelajaran meliputi, implikatur konvensional, implikatur khusus, implikatur umum, dan implikatur berskala. Faktor yang menyebabkan munculnya implikatur percakapan dalam pembelajaran meliputi: bahasa, keakraban, kepekaan, budaya, kepedulian dan kasih sayang.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research (PTK) which aims to (1) find out that the CIRC method can improve the ability to write short stories in class VIII C students at Widya Sakti Denpasar Middle School in the 2023/2024 academic year, (2) find out the right steps in application of the CIRC method to improve short story writing skills. Data collection used observation methods and test methods. The data obtained was analyzed using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis methods. The research results obtained showed that there had been an increase in the test scores as follows: (1) In cycle I the average score of the initial test (pretest) increased from 3.69 to 5.69. (2) Cycle II increased the average value from 5.69 to 8.19. The steps for implementing the CIRC method are as follows: 1) the teacher asks students what they know about short stories, 2) the teacher asks students to group together by counting. Each group consists of 4-5 students. 3) the teacher explains the meaning of short stories, the purpose of writing short stories, the steps for writing short stories and examples of short stories, 4) the teacher distributes short story texts to each group and asks them to read the short story texts with their friends, 5) the teacher invites students to analyze the use of spelling according to EYD, the diction used, the harmony and suitability of the content of the story with the themes presented in the short story text that has been distributed 6) after the teacher explains, students are invited to ask questions 7) The teacher gives assignments to students in each group to create a story short with a theme given by the teacher. 8) after the students create a short story the teacher assigns each group to present the results of the short story they have created 9) the teacher provides feedback to each group. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan (1) mengetahui bahwa dengan metode CIRC dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek pada siswa kelas VIII C SMP Widya Sakti Denpasar Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024, (2) mengetahui langkah-langkah yang tepat dalam penerapan metode CIRC untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan metode observasi dan metode tes. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan metode analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan yaitu dari nilai tes sebagai berikut: (1) Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata tes awal (pretest) meningkat dari 3,69 menjadi 5,69. (2) Siklus II peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 5,69 menjadi 8,19. langkah-langkah penerapan metode CIRC sebagai berikut: 1) guru memberi pertanyaan kepada siswa apa yang mereka ketahui tentang cerita pendek, 2) guru meminta siswa untuk berkelompok dengan cara berhitung. Setiap kelompok terdiri atas 4-5 siswa. 3) guru menjelaskan pengertian cerita pendek, tujuan menulis cerita pendek, langkah-langkah menulis cerita pendek dan contoh cerita pendek, 4) guru membagikan teks cerita pendek kepada setiap kelompok dan meminta untuk membaca teks cerita pendek bersama teman-temannya, 5) guru mengajak siswa untuk menganalisis penggunaan ejaan sesuai EYD, diksi yang digunakan, keselarasan dan kesesuaian isi cerita dengan tema yang disajikan dalam teks cerita pendek yang sudah dibagikan 6) setelah guru menjelaskan maka siswa dipersilahkan untuk bertanya 7) Guru memberikan tugas disetiap kelompok untuk membuat cerita pendek dengan tema yang diberikan guru. 8) setelah siswa membuat cerita pendek guru menugaskan masing-masing kelompok untuk mempresentasikannya 9) guru memberikan tanggapan kepada masing-masing kelompok.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which aims to (1) Knowing that the implementation of SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) learning can improve activities and learning outcomes of writing short stories in grade VII E students of SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Utara for the 2023/2024 academic year; (2) Know the steps for implementing SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) learning in improving activities and learning outcomes of writing short stories for grade VII E students of SMP Negeri 4 North Kuta for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection is carried out by observation and test methods. The data obtained are then analyzed descriptively, qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed that the application of SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) learning methods was effective in improving students' skills and learning outcomes in writing short stories in grade VII E students of SMP 4 North Kuta. The increase in student skills can be seen from the enthusiasm of students in responding to learning. Students are active in learning in class and are able to understand the material and complete the tasks given. Furthermore, when viewed from student learning outcomes, the increase in short story writing results can be seen from the results of assignments given by educators to students and can be reviewed from the average score of student tests. In the precycle stage students obtained an average score of 5.28, in cycle I students obtained an average score of 7.39 and in cycle II students obtained an average score of 8.46. This can be seen from students who are able to string together stories, choose the right words, harmony of sentences with one another and students can create a written work in the form of a short story. Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang bertujuan (1) Mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas VII E SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Utara Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024; (2) Mengetahui langkah-langkah pengimplementasian pembelajaran SSCS (Search, Solvee Create, and Share) dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas VII E SMP Negeri 4 Kuta Utara Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan tes. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, and Share) efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas VII E SMP 4 Kuta Utara. Meningkatnya aktivitas siswa tampak dari keantusiasan siswa dalam merespon pembelajaran. Siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran di kelas dan mampu memahami materi serta menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan. Selanjutnya, jika ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa, peningkatan hasil menulis cerpen terlihat dari hasil penugasan yang diberikan oleh pendidik kepada siswa dan dapat ditinjau dari nilai rata-rata tes siswa. Pada tahap prasiklus siswa memperoleh nilai rata rata 5,28 pada siklus I siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 7,39 dan pada siklus II siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 8,46. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari siswa yang mampu merangkai cerita, pemilihan kata yang tepat, keselarasan kalimat satu dengan yang lainnya serta siswa dapat menciptakan suatu karya tulis berupa cerpen.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying PjBL (Project based Learning) to the material of intrinsic elements of drama. This research is a type of classroom action research (PTK). This research consists of two cycles where there are three meetings in each cycle. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class XI PH 5 SMK Negeri 1 Nusa Penida with a total of 20 students. Data sources were obtained from teachers and students through observation and evaluation tests. The data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes as indicated by the increasing number of students who reached KKM (complete) from pre-action to cycle II. Pre-action learning completeness was 40%, cycle I 55.00%, and cycle II 100.00%. In addition, it is also supported by an increase in student learning abilities. This class action research with the PjBL model can be said to be successful and effective in applying to Indonesian language learning on the material of intrinsic elements of drama because it can achieve the predetermined success indicators, namely more than 75% of students' scores reach the KKM. Based on the findings of the research results, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students in class XI PH 5 can improve after using the project based learning model.

Abstract

The aims of this research include three things: (1) the function of pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in teacher and student directive speech, (2) the form of pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in teacher and student directive speech, and (3) factors that influence pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in directive speech. teacher and student. The subjects of this research consisted of a teacher and students learning Indonesian in class XI.1. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, recording and interview methods. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that (1) the function of pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in teachers' and students' directive speech is requertives (asking and requesting), permissive (giving permission, granting and permitting), advice (suggesting, warning, advising, encouraging, and measuring), requirements (event), question (ask), and prohibition (forbid). (2) forms of pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in imperative, interrogative and declarative teacher and student directive speech. (3) factors that influence pragmatic interpersonal rhetoric in teacher and student directive speech, the social distance factor between the speaker and the interlocutor (the speaker has a higher position), the communication situation factor, and the purpose of the speech by showing the speaker's sympathy.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research (PTK) which aims to (1) find out the application of the PjBL (Project Based Learning) learning model to improve advertising text writing skills in students in class VIII C SMP SLUB Saraswati 1 Denpasar for the 2024/2025 academic year, (2) find out Steps for Implementing the Project Based Learning Model to Improve Advertising Text Writing Skills in Class VIII C Students of SMP SLUB Saraswati 1 Denpasar Academic Year 2024/2025. Data collection uses observation,tests and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The research results show that the application of the PjBL (Project Based Learning) model is to improve advertising text writing skills in class VIII C students at SMP Slub Saraswati 1 Denpasar. Increased student activity can be seen from students' enthusiasm in responding to learning. Students who are active in learning in class are able to understand the material and complete the three tasks given. Furthermore, if we look at student learning outcomes, the improvement in advertising text writing results can be seen from the assignments given by educators to students and can be seen from the students' average test scores. In the pre-test stage students got an average score of 39.10, in cycle I 61.07 and in cycle II students got an average score of 90. This can be seen from students who were able to put together appropriate titles, appropriate content, appropriate usage. language, suitability of writing, mechanics in students about writing advertising texts. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukkan Bahwa Penerapan Model PjBL (Pembelajaran Project Based Learning) Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Teks Iklan Pada Siswa Kelas VIII C SMP Slub Saraswati 1 Denpasar. Meningkatnya Aktivitas Siswa tampak dari keantusiasan siswa dalam merespon pembelajaran. Siswa aktif dalam pembelajran dikelas mampu memahami materi serta menyelesaikan tiga yang diberikan. Selanjutnya, Jika ditinjau dari hasil belajar siswa, Peningkatan hasil menulis teks iklan terlihat dari penugasan yang diberikan oleh pendidik kepada siswa dan dapat ditinjau dari nilai rata-rata tes siswa. Pada tahap Pre-tes siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 39,10 , Pada siklus I 61,07 dan pada siklus II siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 90. Hal tersebut dapat terlihat dari siswa yang mampu merangkai keseuaian judul, Keseuaian isi, Ketepatan penggunaan bahasa, kesesuaian tulisan, mekanik pada siswa tentang menulis teks iklan.

Through the analysis of the ideology contained behind the representation of Balinese women in Geguritan Basur and Basur Novel, this study aims to reveal how the construction of Balinese women is formed in the text, as well as what ideology is contained behind the representation of Balinese women in Geguritan Basur and Basur novel. This study is significant because it can reveal how literary texts help maintain, challenge, or reshape views on women in Balinese society. This study uses a qualitative approach with a constructionist foundation and Michel Foucault's discourse analysis model. The aim is to analyze and find the ideology behind the representation of Balinese women in Geguritan Basur and Basur novel. The researcher is the main instrument (human instrument) whose job is to select data, analyze, interpret, and conclude. The method used in data collection is a literature study, with reading, note-taking, and interview techniques. Data analysis is carried out descriptively and qualitatively and with the following stages: reading data, marking, classifying, analyzing, and interpreting using the theories of Representation, Gender Equality, and Intertextuality. The results of this study indicate that the ideology behind the representation of Balinese women in Geguritan Basur and the Basur novel includes autonomy in determining a partner, inclusive education, free humans, and criticism of the patrilineal system
