Abstract

PT. X is a company engaged in shipping services. This company has a spare part storage warehouse that is not yet effective and efficient. This can be seen from the placement of items that are not suitable and require a long time in the process of picking up goods. This study aims to redesign the layout of the storage warehouse using the shared storage method. Shared storage is a method of arranging a storage area based on the warehouse floor area by placing the items that are sent immediately closest to the door, and so on. This method uses the FIFO (first in first out) principle so that the outbound process is easier and takes less time to search for goods. Based on the processing using the shared storage method, a proposal is made to improve the layout by adding 2 storage racks arranged by product type. The previous pallet 1210 became 3234. Forging of storage racks takes into account the size of the demand, so that products with more demand are placed in the area close to the door. With this, there are no more products stored in any area, and product collection will be easier and faster

Abstract

PT. X is an industry that produces green tea and black tea. In this study, there are often problems with the wrapping machine due to the age of use and the tight schedule of usage in the wrapping machine. If the machine operates in an unstable condition, it will greatly affect the results of the production. Damaged components such as cutting blades, heating heaters, thermo control and bearings. By using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and also calculating the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value, the highest RPN value to the lowest is obtained, namely Cutting Knife (RPN = 100), Heater (RPN = 90), Thermo Control (RPN = 72) and Bearings (RPN = 36). It can be seen that the cause of damage to the wrapping machine and also the highest RPN calculation is found in the damage to the cutting knife whose RPN value is 100. From the analysis of the damage to the cutting knife, the author provides a suggested repair plan for the company so that it can be implemented in the company which can later improve the quality of the machine to be operated. for the future which cannot be separated from the supervisory role of the operators in charge of their cooperation to improve quality and the quality control team that always monitors quality.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. XYZ in the garden section, a company engaged in the forestry sector of industrial plants and products that produce HVS paper (such as paper one, otc), paperboard, kiky books, tissue (teas). PT.XYZ manages raw materials that are not in accordance with the target, the purpose of this study is to determine the amount of workload and the number of workers in the garden section at PT. XYZ. To collect the data needed in this study, data collection techniques were used through direct observation of the object under study, interviews and various other reference sources. Data analysis using the Workload Analysis method. From the results of calculations using the method, workload is one aspect that must be considered by every company, and workload must be considered for a worker to get harmony and high work productivity. By using the Workload Analysis method and to find out how much the optimal number of workers is in the raw material section. After analyzing the data using this analysis, it can be obtained that the average workload on the raw material section is 184.39%, which means that the workload is excessive. In order for the workload of each workforce in the garden to be optimal, it is advisable to increase the workload with an average workload of 92.19% so that effectiveness can be achieved.

Abstract

 The purpose of this research is to analyze the generation, composition, and potential of waste recycling at the campus of Polytechnic ATI Padang with the number of samples and sampling method determined based on SNI 19-3964-1994. The average waste generation on the campus of Polytechnic ATI Padang is 0.0076 kg/o/h for unit weight or 0.0922 l/o/h for unit volume. Based on the source, waste generation of administrative facilities 0.1456 l/o/h, classroom 0.0106 l/o/h, ukm facilities 0.0865 l/o/h, library facilities 0.0898 l/o/h, lecturer’s room 0.1971 l/o/h, canteen 0.1442 l/o/h, laboratory 0,1204 l/o/h, worship facilities 0,0353 l/o/h, and yard/garden 0,0847 l/m2/h. The composition of garbage on the campus of Polytechnic ATI Padang is dominated by dry waste 63,40 %, which consists of paper waste 26,49 %, plastic 28,24 %, textile 0,08 %, rubber 0.40 %, glass 0,38 %, metal 0,05 %, cans 0,95 % , and etc 6,81% and wet garbage 36,60 % consisting of food waste 13,32 %, waste page 23,07 % and wood 0,21 %. Potentially recycled waste components are paper waste 60,41 %, plastic 94,85 %, glass 57,50 %, 100 % garbage can, 100 % yard waste, and food waste 82,80%. The average potential of recycling garbage on campus of Polytechnic ATI Padang is 74,39 % consisting of recycling potential of dry waste 52.05% and recycling potential of wet waste 22.34 %.Keywords : waste generation, garbage composition, waste recycling potential, Polytechnic ATI Padang     ABSTRAK  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pembangkitan, komposisi, dan potensi daur ulang limbah di kampus Politeknik ATI Padang dengan jumlah sampel dan metode pengambilan sampel ditentukan berdasarkan SNI 19-3964-1994. Rata-rata timbulan sampah di kampus Politeknik ATI Padang adalah 0,0076 kg / o / jam untuk satuan berat atau 0,0922 l / o / jam untuk volume unit. Komposisi sampah di kampus Politeknik ATI Padang didominasi oleh sampah kering 63,40%, yang terdiri dari limbah kertas 26,49%, plastik 28,24%, tekstil 0,08%, karet 0,40%, kaca 0,40%, gelas 0, 38%, logam 0,05%, kaleng 0,95%, dan lain-lain 6,81% dan sampah basah 36,60% terdiri dari limbah makanan 13,32%, limbah halaman 23,07% dan kayu 0,21%. Komponen limbah yang berpotensi didaur ulang adalah limbah kertas 60,41%, plastik 94,85%, gelas 57,50%, tong sampah 100%, limbah halaman 100%, dan limbah makanan 82,80%. Potensi rata-rata sampah daur ulang di kampus Politeknik ATI Padang adalah 74,39% yang terdiri dari potensi daur ulang limbah kering 52,05% dan potensi daur ulang limbah basah 22,34%. Kata Kunci: timbulan sampah, komposisi sampah, potensi daur ulang, Politeknik ATI Padang

Abstract

Abstrak. Cabai merah besar (Capsicum annum l.) salah satu produk pertanian hortikultura yang banyak diusahakan oleh petani. Sumatera Barat dengan konstribusinya sebesar 5,83% atau sebesar 58.064 ton per tahun menghasilkan sentra produksi cabai yang berasal dari beberapa daerah akan tetapi yang menghasilkan produksi cabai terbesar berada di Kabupaten Solok yaitu 19.325 ton. Namun ironisnya harga cabai sering mengalami fluktuasi yang tidak teratur. Suatu ketika cabai bisa mencapai harga yang sangat mahal, lalu harga akan sangat jatuh ketika panen melimpah. Beberapa petani bahkan sampai membuang cabai-cabai hasil panen yang masih bagus karena harga jual cabai pada panen raya sangat rendah. Untuk membantu para petani dalam mengatasi fluktuasi harga tersebut, perlu dilakukan upaya-upaya pemanfaatan cabai merah menjadi aneka produk melalui pengolahan cabai merah dalam bentuk bubuk dengan rasa original. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan berupa penyuluhan kepada masyarakat tentang nilai kandungan gizi dan manfaat sari cabai dan mempraktekkan langsung pengolahan cabai menjadi bubuk cabai. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini masyarakat dapat mempraktekkan langsung pengolahan cabai menjadi bubuk cabai yang akan menjadikan peluang usaha yang baru bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

According to World Health Organization, one of the symptoms of someone infected with the corona virus is fever. Body temperature at the time of fever for adults is above 37 °C. Anticipation has been done by using a gun thermal scanner, which is expensive, not to mention how to use this tool, which requires direct physical contact when scanning. Recently, WHO has released a prevention protocol with the concept of physical distancing, which means that a safe distance between humans must be maintained at least 1.5 meters to prevent transmission. The current government program requires every agency to follow the health protocol during the transition period by implementing the New Normal. Correspondence activities at the Community Service Office such as the lurah or sub-district office have begun to be active again in serving the needs of the community, so this office will become a gathering place for many people, so that public services can be provided and also maintain the health of employees from physical contact with the people being served. must always apply the new normal health protocol to the public and serving officers so as not to contract the Covid-19 virus. The solution offered is to make a "thermal physical distance" tool, which is a tool that can be installed in an outdoor office for the needs of detecting guests / people who will visit the service office, the person can detect his body temperature on the installed device, its function is to minimize physical contact on the when detecting a person's body temperature. The plan is that this tool is designed, unlike the Thermal Gun which is usually used where the temperature checker is still near us, with this tool the officer does not carry out inspections, we just install it on the wall, with a motion detector, a person's temperature will be measured.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of prices and perceived quality on the interest in repurchasing Yeni Japang SME. This research is a causative study with quantitative methods. The sample used in this study were 100 respondents. The results showed that the price had a negative but not significant effect on the intention to repurchase Yeni Japang split MSMEs. This means that if the price of a glass plate increases, the interest in repurchasing decreases or vice versa. This product is very sensitive to price changes. Further perceptions of quality have a significant positive effect on repurchase interest. This means that the customer has a high perception of product quality, it will arouse the interest of customers to repurchase. Perception of quality is one of the determinants of whether a customer will buy a product or not.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of price discountand store display on impulse buying in customers at Suzuya Rocky Plaza Padang. This type of research is causative research. The population of this study was all Suzuya in customers at Suzuya Rozky Paza Padang who had experienced failure in the process of unplanned shopping (Impulsive buying). While the number of research samples is determined based on the accidental sampling method. So that the resulting sample is 100 people. The data used are primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires to selected customers. This study has two categories of variables. First is the independent variable, namely price discount and store display. The two dependent variables are impulse buying. The analytical method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis through multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the price discount and store display had a significant effect on impulse buying in customers at Suzuya Rocky Plaza Padang.
