Abstract

Heart rate or pulse is an important parameter used to determine a person's mental state because when the heartbeat is abnormal, it is necessary to make further efforts to prevent undesirable things from happening. In this study, researchers plan to design the Heart Rate Monitoring and Stimulation with the Internet of Thing-Based (IoT) Qur'an Recitation. The steps taken to design a monitoring system and stimulate the human heartbeat are to design hardware and software. The sensor used is a pulse heart rate sensor as a heart rate detector processed by Arduino-based NodeMCU V3, the test results and measurements will be sampled using smartphone media. Data collection process; polytechnic students as objects taken by their heart rate data, the data collection process was carried out twice, the morning before the lecture began and the afternoon after the lecture process was complete, the testing process was done by taking data using a smartphone and turning on the Quran recitation for 2 minutes. Research is expected to be an stimulus indicator of heart rate, so that the heart rate is more relaxed and calm

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah kamera menjadi lebih cerdas dengan menggunakan mode image processing menggunakan perangkat raspberry pi sehingga bisa memantau dan mengontrol suatu lokasi atau tempat dan memberikan laporan peringan melalui aplikasi media social whatshap ke smartphone yang sudah disetting ke perangkatnya. Sehingga dengan adanya perangkat smart security camera ini bisa menjadi lebih nyaman, lebih aman dan cepat mengetahui dan mengontrol keadaan ditempat-tempat yang kita inginkan. Maka dari penjelasan diatas judul penelitian ini adalah Perancangan Smart security Menggunakan Mode Image Processing dengan menggunakan Raspberry Pi.

Abstract

Security is a state in which people or things feel safe from ominous or unsettling hazards, which will then cause them to feel at ease and comfortable. There are many ways to achieve security, one of which is via utilizing and deploying technology. The use of security technology has advanced quickly in recent years, from low-tech to high-tech techniques. By using Arduino as a circuit controller to process input from a vibrating sensor and 4x4 keypad, output to a solenoid as a charity box lock, and a buzzer that serves as an alarm in case of theft, technological or automated methods can reduce charity box theft and also increase the security of charity box locks. The charity box security system tool is made to prevent the theft of charity boxes, which frequently happens in mosques. If someone tries to steal the charity box, an alarm will go off, and you need a pin that has been programmed on an Arduino Ide and stored in EEPROM to open the charity box cover, so this tool can stop charity box theft in mosques.

Abstract

PT Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk is one of the companies in Indonesia whose main activity is to produce pulp. The company uses eucalyptus wood as the main material. Broadly speaking, pulp making begins with the digesting process, which is the process of cooking chips with the addition of white liquor and steam. Then distributed to washing and screening, then O2 delignification which produces unbleached pulp. then bleached in the bleaching process in three stages. After that, the pulp is made into sheet pulp in the pulp machine process. In addition, the supporting process for producing the pulp, one of which is the recovery boiler. The recovery boiler has two functions, namely the main function as a steam generator and the side function of producing green liquor from recovery to be produced again into white liquor as a cooking liquid in the digester. The performance condition of an equipment can be measured based on the efficiency of an equipment. In thermodynamics, thermal efficiency is a dimensionless measure that shows the performance of thermal equipment such as internal combustion engines and so on.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of price discountand store display on impulse buying in customers at Suzuya Rocky Plaza Padang. This type of research is causative research. The population of this study was all Suzuya in customers at Suzuya Rozky Paza Padang who had experienced failure in the process of unplanned shopping (Impulsive buying). While the number of research samples is determined based on the accidental sampling method. So that the resulting sample is 100 people. The data used are primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires to selected customers. This study has two categories of variables. First is the independent variable, namely price discount and store display. The two dependent variables are impulse buying. The analytical method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis through multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the price discount and store display had a significant effect on impulse buying in customers at Suzuya Rocky Plaza Padang.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi perangkat bergerak mulai mengarah ke dimensi yang lebih kecil serta pembuatan aplikasi yang cepat, terkoneksi dan efisien. Dengan mengecilnya dimensi, efisiensi energi aplikasi perangkat bergerak menjadi sangat penting. Aplikasi ponsel berkembang sangat cepat, seluruhnya terhubung pada aplikasi seperti sosial media, hal ini menjadi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Baterai memasok kekuatan daya yang terbatas pada perangkat komunikasi bergerak, social media harus meminimalisir sinyal untuk mempertahankan konsumsi daya serendah mungkin. Rangkaian eksperimental dikembangkan dengan menggunakan mikrokontroller yang dapat mengukur konsumsi energy pada perangkat smartphone android pada jaringan 802.11. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa whatsapp mengkonsumsi daya lebih kecil dari aplikasi lainnya pada proses standby dan chat, yang kedua aplikasi Instagram dan skype mengkonsumsi daya tinggi. Untuk proses keseluruhan youtube dan tik tok mengkonsumi paling tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the application of the basic requirements of food safety standard, namely GMP and SSOP during the production process. The observations method for data collection in this study was through interviews of workers and owners. Evaluate of GMP and SSOP was carried out to see the effectiveness of conformity and non-conformity measures in carrying out the production process. The results of this study stated that the conformity assessment of the evaluation of the application of GMP and SSOP obtained a value of 42.50%-84.00%, with a deviation value of 185 from the overall value of 528 which means deviations in the moderate level so that the application of the GMP is said to be less in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Industry No. 75 of 2010. The conformity assessment of the application of the SSOP obtained a value between 20.00%-84.00%, with a deviation value of 45 from the overall value of 160 which means that the deviation is in a moderate level or does not meet the FDA's provisions regarding SSOP as stated by government regulation, Number 28 of 2004 concerning food safety, quality, and nutrition. The high rate of deviations in the application of GMP and SSOP indicates a low level of contamination prevention during the production process.

Abstract

Vibration is a back-and-forth movement in a certain time interval that produces waves in a medium. Vibration can occur on a small or large scale. So on a small scale, a vibration sensor is needed to detect certain phenomena such as vibrations of engine capacity and detected pressure. On a large scale, vibration sensors can be used to detect earthquakes and other major phenomena and design a real-time vibration detection system for long distances, so vibration sensor components, controllers, and radio systems are needed. Therefore, researchers made a simple vibration detector using the experimental method. This final project aims to design, realize, and test the characteristics of the MPU 5060 accelerometer vibration sensor that is connected wirelessly. The characteristics of the sensor are tested against the magnitude of the vibration source, the distance of the vibration source, the placement medium, and the detection period. After testing the tool 10 times, it can be concluded that this simple vibration detector functions well and the highest average load results are obtained, namely in the 1-kilogram load test with a value of 1.93026 and the lowest average results are in the ceramic load test with a value of 0.651357.

Abstract

Traditional market waste, such as vegetables, fruit and other organic waste, often becomes a problem in environmental management in rural areas. One potential solution is to process market waste into alternative feed ingredients for freshwater fish hatcheries. This research aims to develop innovations in processing fermented market waste into fish pellets, which can improve the quality of fish feed while reducing environmental impacts. In this research, market waste is fermented with certain microbes to turn it into fish pellets which are rich in nutrients. The research results show that the use of fermented market waste can produce effective and environmentally friendly fish pellets for freshwater fish hatcheries. The processing method used has the potential to reduce dependence on commercial fish feed and optimize available local resources

Abstract

LTE (Long Term Evolution) is a fourth-generation wireless communication technology that is currently under development, necessitating the use of efficient antennas. This research focuses on the design and realization of a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) microstrip antenna operating at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, which is essential for LTE applications. The MIMO technique employs multiple antennas on both the transmitter and receiver sides, aiming for a correlation coefficient below 0.2 to enhance communication quality and channel capacity without requiring additional bandwidth. The antenna design was simulated using CST Studio Suite 2019 software, followed by fabrication. The simulation results indicated a return loss of -25.411 dB, a Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) of 1.113, a gain of 6.464 dBi, an omnidirectional radiation pattern, and a bandwidth of 20 MHz. Upon fabrication, the measured return loss was -18.071 dB, with a VSWR of 1.285 and an increased bandwidth of 50 MHz. The results demonstrate that the designed antenna meets the necessary specifications for LTE applications, confirming its suitability for practical use in modern wireless communication systems.
