Abstract

This paper presents a study of deformation and failure performances of a plastic sheet made of polymer alloys subjected to drop weight impact of a cylindrical mass with hemispherical tip at a certain velocity by using dynamic explicit finite element code of MSC. Dytran. An available material model in the finite element system, called piecewise linear plasticity, was applied in the simulation for describing the large strain, non-linear behavior of the polymeric materials. Maximum plastic strain failure criterion was used to simulate the impact failure. In the simulation, the mass served as a rigid surface strikes perpendicularly the potential impact region of an arbitrary designed- plastic sheet that was considered in the form of a fully-clamped circular thin plate. Contact between the mass and plate was applied and friction coefficient m between the mass and plate was assumed to be a constant value of 0.3. In order to study effect of the assumed friction coefficient value, additional simulations of the impact test have been performed using m = 0. Some limitations in the use of the material model were illustrated through the analysis of results from two types of tough polycarbonate (PC) alloys: PC/ABS and PC/PBT blends. Impact force-displacement relationships of each alloy were then compared to the test result.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang hubungan panjang berat dan factor kondisi ikan yang ditemukan di Krueng Simpoe, Kabupaten Bireun, Aceh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmengetahui distribusi ukuran ikan dan menganalisis hubungan panjang berat ikan yang didapat di Krueng Simpoe. Ikan yang didapat yaitu ikan Rasbora sp dan Puntius brevis. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada bulan November 2015, dengan menggunakan jarring dan jala. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ikan Rasbora sp dan Puntius brevis memiliki pola pertumbuhan allometrik negatif. Selain itu, factor kondisi berat relative menunjukkan angka diatas 100. Faktor kondisi fulton perairan Krueng Simpoe mengindikasikan secara relatif dalam keadaan baik.  Kata kunci : hubungan panjang berat, factor kondisi, allometrik  The research is about the length weight relationships and condition factor of the freshwater fishes which were found in Simpoe River, Bireun, Aceh. The research purpose is to know the distribution of sizes fishes and to analyze length weight relationships fishes found in Simpoe River. The fishes are Rasbora sp and Puntius brevis. The sampling was conducted on November, 2015 by using net and castnet. The results revealed that Rasbora sp and Puntius brevis have allometric negative growth pattern. In addition, the relative weight condition factor’s was over 100. And the Fulton’s condition factor were not different significantly among fishes. It means that the Fulton’s condition at Krueng Simpoe indicating good condition and well growth.Keywords : length weight relationships, condition factor, allometric

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the income of rainfed rice farming in Lampanah Tunong Village, Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar District. This research was conducted using the census method on 20 rainfed rice farmers. The analytical model used is Multiple Linear Regression. The results showed that land area had a significant effect on farm income, while the variables, urea fertilizer, SP36 fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, pesticides, production costs and labor did not significantly affect the income of rainfed lowland rice farming. The R2 value of 0.808 indicates that the close relationship between the independent variable and the variable is 80.8% while the remaining 1.20% is explained by other factors outside the model

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of village fund allocation and village policy on the level of community welfare in Narigunung Village 1. The method used is a quantitative method using the help of Eviews 12. The population in this study was 549 people in Narigunung 1 Village, and the sample in this study amounted to 80 respondents with Non-probability sampling techniques using purposive sampling. Data collection methods by distributing questionnaires and by using validity tests and reliability tests. The data analysis methods used in this study are multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and determination coefficient test. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, the equation Y = 3.422786 + 0.763682X 1 + 0.141002X 2 is obtained, meaning that the constant is 3.422786 which means if X 1 (village fund allocation) and X 2 (village policy) value is 0, then Y (community welfare) value is 3.422786, while X 1 (village fund allocation) with a result of 0.763682 which means that every increase X 1 1% will increase Y by 0.763682% assuming the other variables are constant, and vice versa. and X 2 (village policy) by 0.141002 which means that every increase in X 2 by 1% will increase Y by 0.141002% assuming the other variables are constant, and vice versa. The results of the t (partial) test for X 1 (village fund allocation) obtained a t sig value of 0.0000 < 0.05 which means a positive and significant effect on Y (community welfare) while for X 2 (village policy) a t sig value of 0.0286 < 0.05 was obtained which means a positive and significant effect on Y (community welfare). The results of the F (simultaneous) test are known to have an Fsig value of 0.000000 < 0.05 which means that X 1 (village fund allocation) and X2 (village policy) simultaneously have a significant effect on Y (community welfare). The result of the coefficient of determination obtained R2 (R Square) of 0.731678 or (73.17%), while the remaining 26.83% was influenced or explained by other variables that were not included in this research model

Abstract

In this study, the population was employees of the Ministry of Marine Transportation, Serdang Bedagai Regency, 32 people. Because the target population is less than 100, the sampling technique used is the census method, where the entire population, totaling 32 employees of the Ministry of Marine Transportation, Serdang Bedagai Regency, will be used as the research sample. Research results. the first hypothesis is accepted, meaning that Job Training (X) has a significant effect on Organizational Commitment (Y1). the second hypothesis is accepted, meaning that Job Training (X) has a significant effect on Job Performance (Y2). the third hypothesis is rejected, meaning that Organizational Commitment (Y1) is not an intervening variable that mediates the effect of Job Training (X) on Job Performance (Y2).

Abstract

In this study, the population was the Serdang Bedagai District Civil Service Agency, namely 30 people. Because the target population is less than 100, the sampling technique used is the census method, where the entire population, totaling 30 people from the Serdang Bedagai Regency Regional Civil Service Agency, will be used as the research sample. the first hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the Job Analysis variable (X) has a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Y1). the second hypothesis is accepted, meaning that Job Analysis (X) has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y2). the third hypothesis is accepted, meaning that Job Satisfaction (Y1) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y2).

Abstract

This study aims to experimentally analyse the performance of a forced wet cooling tower (WTC) using multilevel inclined perforated splash fill. The hot water temperature is set at 60 C; Packing has an inclination angle of 15o, 20o, 25o and a perforation ratio of 2.6%, which consists of five levels of galvanised plate fill. The water flow rate is ± 0.0917 kg/s, and the five variations of air flow rate are 0.02033, 0.02631, 0.02995, 0.03770, and 0.04261 kg/s. The inlet hot water temperature is 60 C. In this study, it can be seen that the ratio of water mass and air mass affects the performance of the cooling tower
