Abstract

Anak usia dini merupakan individu yang sedang mengalami proses perkembangan dengan pesat, sehingga anak prasekolah memerlukan optimalisasi perkembangan motorik kasar salah satunya dengan menggunakan senam irama. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peranan senam irama dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak usia dini. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian kajian pustaka pada sumber-sumber terpercaya seperti artikel jurnal, buku dan sejenisnya. Kemudian data dilakukan analisis. Diperoleh hasil fakta dan data mengenai penerapan senam irama dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia dini. Semakin banyak kegiatan yang bervariatif dan inovatif maka peluang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak sehingga dapat berkembang dengan optimal. Implikasi temuan dari tulisan ini memberikan gambaran dari penerapan senam irama dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

In general, gymnastics is only imitation of movement from beginning to end but in this study gymnastics is combined with stories that are imagined by children, which are then realized into motion with the aim of stimulating the creativity of early childhood movements. In this research si buyung’s gymnastic modified to be warming up, creative movements, and cooling down. The research was quantitative quasi-experimental method with one group time-series design on 52 children aged 4-5 years in Yogyakarta. Data collection used interviews and observations, then analyzed with Kruskal Wallis. The results showed that implemented si buyung’s gymnastic effectively to increase the movement creativity of children aged 4-5 years is evidenced by the acquisition of asymp.sig p-value. 0,000 <0.05 which means there is a significant difference in the average ranking of children's creativity in each treatment.

Abstract

The research aimed to examine the content validity and resilience scale reliability that was developed based on the theory of Reivich and Shatte. The measuring instrument consisted of 32 items which resulted from a modification of the instruments made by Reivich and Shatte. The instrument had seven aspects of resilience, namely emotion regulation, impulse control, optimism, causal analysis, empathy, self-efficacy, and reaching out. The research sample amounted to 150 respondents consisting of Islamic Boarding School students in Purworejo, Central Java, boys and girls aged 11-18 years. The items in the measuring instruments were analyzed using the Gregory formula with the help of Ms. Excel program; then, the Cronbach Alpha formula was analyzed using the SPSS program. Based on the analysis of content validity with two experts’ judgments and the validity index of 1, it means that the instrument’s validity is very high. As for the reliability test results, the value of Cronbach’s Alpha item resilience scale is 0,753. This shows that the resilience scale item has good reliability. Based on these data, resilience instruments can be said to be valid and reliable to measure the resilience of Islamic Boarding School students.

Abstract

Teachers as professional educators have an important role in developing human resources. The task of the teacher is not only as a teacher but also as an educator, so that in addition to having the task of strengthening the intellectual capacity of students, it is also responsible for the formation and development of the personality capacity and abilities of students cognitively, affective and psychomotor. However, apart from these assignments, teachers still have various problems related to excessive workloads and quality demands that are not comparable to the economic and social welfare they receive and problems with politicization of teachers. This problem simultaneously affects work engagement, self-efficacy and job satisfaction of professional educators. Even though work engagement.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan edukasi kepada pelatih bolavoli akan pentingnya peran psikologi olahraga dan juga pendekatan melatih teknik dasar bolavoli agar atlet tidak mengalami kejenuhan dan akhirnya akan berhenti latihan (drop out). Metode pengabdian dengan praktek langsung dengan audience, dengan penyampaian materi baik secara teori maupun praktek. Jumlah peserta 21 orang pelatih bolavoli di Desa Wedomartani. Tempat pelatihan yaitu ruang rapat Kepala Desa Wedomartani dan juga Lapangan bolavoli klub Bintang Utara. Hasil pengabdian terjadi peningkatan mean rerata pemahaman pelatih bolavoli berdasarkan hasil pre dan posttest sebagai berikut: rerata mean pemahaman pelatih pada materi psikologi olahraga sebesar: pretest: 2.2 dan posttest: 9.6 (sangat signifikan), dan rerata pemahaman pelatih tentang teknik dasar bolavoli sebesar: pretest: 4.2 dan posttest: 9.8 (sangat signifikan). Kesimpulan dalam pengabdian ini bahwa peran psikologi olahraga dan juga metode melatih teknik dasar bolavoli sangat mempengaruhi pemahaman pelatih dan juga meningkatkan kualitas pelatih dalam melatih bolavoli.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of imagery training on improving the technical skill of a basketball lay-up for students of Faculty of Sports Education, Yogyakarta State University (FIK UNY). The method used in this research was an experimental design with pre-test post-test control group. The population of this study was the new students of FIK UNY academic year 2013/2014. Samples were taken using the proportional random sampling technique. To prove the research hypothesis, a t-test statistical technique was used. Based on the analysis of data, tcount was 2.177 with p < .05. This means that there is a significant difference in the lay-up technical skill between the control group and the experimental group. The experimental group had a higher mean score of improvement in lay-up technical skill compared to the control group. Thus it can be concluded that imagery exercise improves the basketball lay-up technical skill for students of FIK UNY. The result in basketball lay-up of students who were given the exercise program and the imagery exercise is significantly higher than the students who were given a lay-up shot exercise program without imagery exercise. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas latihan imajeri terhadap peningkatan keterampilan teknik lay-up shoot Bolabasket mahasiswa FIK UNY. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain eksperimen dengan teknik pretest-posttest control group design. Poluasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa baru FIK UNY tahun akademik 2013/2014. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional random sampling. Teknik analisis data untuk membuktikan hipotesis penelitian menggunakan statistik uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung 2,177 dengan p < .05. Ini berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan teknik lay-up shoot antara kelompok kontrol dengan kelompok eksperimen. Kelompok eksperimen memiliki rerata peningkatan keterampilan teknik lay-up shoot yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa latihan imajeri memiliki efektivitas terhadap peningkatan keterampilan teknik lay-up shoot Bolabasket mahasiswa FIK UNY. Peningkatan teknik lay-up shoot Bolabasket pada mahasiswa yang diberi program latihan lay-up shoot ditambah latihan imajeri lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa yang diberi program latihan lay-up shoot tanpa ditambah latihan imajeri.
