Abstract

Managing family archive independently is one of the ways that can be used to activate the family function and give universal values of the family. By knowing the important of family archive management, it is urgently needed to provide guidance and training for the students’ mothers of TK Dharma Wanita Sengkaling, Dau, Malang, so they can do the archive management for their own family. This service is done by applying participatory method, a method that involved the service offers to directly involved in the activity. The activity was started with first, sharing about how to archive classification, practice in implementing technology in archive storing and the last one was the discussion. From the result of this service, it can be concluded that the participants of the activity are satisfied for by the result of the activity: they have online drive that can be used to save their family archive so they can avoid any damaging risk in the future.

Abstract

Kafe Panggon sebagai UKM yang berlokasi di Kota Batu, Jawa Timur, sangat terdampak dengan pandemi Covid-19.  Perlu dilakukan beberapa perubahan atau adaptasi dengan mengikuti perubahan yang terjadi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu memberikan solusi dan menguatkan kembali posisi Kafe Panggon. Budaya kerja era new normal ditawarkan sebagai solusi supaya Kafe Panggon dapat tetap survive. Misi, keterlibatan, adaptasi dan konsistensi digunakan sebagai indikator keberhasilan. Pemecahan masalah dilakukan dengan memberikan beberapa perubahan pada budaya kerja, tidak hanya bermanfaat bagi Kafe Panggon, namun juga bermanfaat untuk konsumen, karyawan dan lingkungan. Seperti fokus pada produk untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen, pemberdayaan karyawan, bertanggungjawab terhadap produk yang dihasilkan, dan ikut mendukung keberlangsungan lingkungan hidup, dan yang terpenting adalah usaha untuk adopsi terhadap teknologi. Kata Kunci : Budaya Kerja, Era New Normal, UKM, Misi, Keterlibatan, Adaptasi, Konsistensi

Abstract

SMEs have been severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Some changes or adaptations need to be made to follow the changes that occur. Action research was chosen in this study, using the planning, implementation and evaluation method, where the samples were culinary SMEs, several cafes in Malang Raya. The planning stage involves identifying the problems and obstacles faced by SMEs, through interviews using an interview guide, then from this stage a strategy formulation is obtained which is implemented at the implementation stage. Adopting the work culture proposed by Denison and Haaland, a new work culture strategy is formulated to deal with the new normal era. Mission, involvement, adaptation and consistency are used as indicators at the implementation stage. Then proceed with an evaluation to measure the level of success of research in contributing to the sustainability of SMEs in running their business. SMEs are no longer run at random, but with careful planning to minimize product failures, maintain business sustainability and even win in the face of business competition both with fellow SMEs and with companies.

Abstract

Small businesses such as home industries have to face various obstacles to expand their product markets. One of the obstacles is the products offered are not well known to the public because there is no brand label attached to the product packaging. Seeing the importance of brand labels on a product, it is important to be able to participate in small businesses to provide additional knowledge of the function and use of brand labels in product marketing. This community service aims to provide direction about the benefits of labels to introduce products to a wider market.

Abstract

 School administration is one of the important things in the administration of education. With so many administrative activities, effective and efficient management is needed. The application of electronic archives has the main advantage which lies in the ease of management and management of records. Given the importance of managing electronic records, this guidance and training will be provided to teachers of Kindergarten ABA 38 Malang, because the school is a new school and is currently carrying out accreditation. In this activity the PPM team conducted counseling, discussions, mentoring and evaluation. After carrying out the education, further discussions were held regarding the case studies that would be raised in the mentoring and selected filings for school accreditation. So that assistance is focused on structuring evidence of school accreditation which consists of 8 standards, namely developmental achievements, content standards, process standards, educators and teaching staff, infrastructure, management standards, cost standards, assessment standards. After the training and mentoring the partners were very satisfied because it was very helpful to manage their school archives. In addition, partners feel more prepared for accreditation because the evidence prepared is tidier and easier to find.

Abstract

When talking about current business developments, there has been a lot of talk about where 2023 is the year towards a recession situation. This condition will certainly have an impact on all aspects of the main activities of the business sector, which inevitably must be prepared to face heavy burdens not only due to intense competition, but also sluggish conditions which can reduce business turnover. Of course, it's not strange if the end of all business is to get maximum income in which it must be considered as profit. Various efforts need to be made by all business scales, including MSMEs. Even though there is a long story that MSMEs always manage to get through even difficult situations, of course you can't if you just wait for what will happen in the future. One effort that can be done by adjusting all the resources owned by a place of business is to strengthen the business name and promote it more broadly through a business profile (company profile) that can be reached by the whole community as potential customers. A business profile that can highlight various characteristics of a place of business not only enhances a positive image in the eyes of consumers but also can reach some opportunities to bring in investors who can work together to develop the business.

Abstract

The various products offered by online-based businesses certainly bring challenges to catch consumers' attention. Understanding the importance of a product's appearance (product visual) in high competition opens the eyes of businessmen who want to get involved in online businesses that require thorough preparation, one of which is the aspect of the product's visual appearance displayed on the online platform used. One of the main focuses of this community service is aligned with the needs of partners is to develop the market by trying to expand through the marketplace, so the service team maximizes resources and efforts to be able to help maximize the application of product visuals to strengthen the products offered in the online platform so they can attract the attention of online shopping lovers to look for further product information from the existence of aesthetic product images. The method used in this community service activity is assistance starting from determining the appropriate concept, selecting product variants that are superior products, and consulting with photography experts to get product photos that contain photography/aesthetics aspects. The result of this community service is some photos of the product that are ready to be uploaded on a social media or marketplace platform.

Abstract

Inactive archives are an important part of the archival system because they still have utility value even though their frequency of use has decreased. Improper archive management can cause difficulties in the information retrieval process and impact the decline in organizational work efficiency. This study aims to analyze the use of various types of inactive archive storage methods to improve the ease of information retrieval. The research method used is a qualitative approach with library research, through the review of various literature sources such as books, scientific journals, and relevant policy documents. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation studies, while data analysis used qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the study indicate that there are several commonly used inactive archive storage methods, namely alphabetical, numerical, subject, geographic, and chronological methods. Each method has advantages and limitations in supporting the information retrieval process. The numerical method is considered effective in managing large amounts of archives due to its structured system and high level of accuracy, while the alphabetical and subject methods are easier to use due to their intuitive nature. Geographic and chronological methods also have specific roles according to the characteristics of the archives being managed. This study also found that no single method is most effective for all organizational conditions. The implications of this research indicate that implementing a combination of several storage methods (a hybrid system) can be a more optimal solution for increasing the ease and speed of information retrieval. Furthermore, the success of archives management is also influenced by the competence of human resources and the consistency of the storage system implementation. Therefore, organizations are advised to select a storage method that suits their needs and conduct regular evaluations to improve the effectiveness of archives management.   Keywords: archive management; inactive dynamic archives; storage methods; information retrieval.   Abstrak. Arsip dinamis inaktif merupakan bagian penting dalam sistem kearsipan karena masih memiliki nilai guna meskipun frekuensi penggunaannya telah menurun. Pengelolaan arsip yang tidak tepat dapat menyebabkan kesulitan dalam proses temu kembali informasi dan berdampak pada menurunnya efisiensi kerja organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan berbagai jenis metode penyimpanan arsip dinamis inaktif dalam meningkatkan kemudahan temu kembali informasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research), melalui pengkajian berbagai sumber literatur seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan dokumen kebijakan yang relevan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa metode penyimpanan arsip dinamis inaktif yang umum digunakan, yaitu metode alfabetis, numerik, subjek, geografis, dan kronologis. Masing-masing metode memiliki keunggulan dan keterbatasan dalam mendukung proses temu kembali informasi. Metode numerik dinilai efektif dalam pengelolaan arsip dalam jumlah besar karena sistemnya yang terstruktur dan memiliki tingkat akurasi tinggi, sedangkan metode alfabetis dan subjek lebih mudah digunakan karena bersifat intuitif. Metode geografis dan kronologis juga memiliki peran tertentu sesuai dengan karakteristik arsip yang dikelola. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa tidak ada satu metode yang paling efektif untuk semua kondisi organisasi. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kombinasi beberapa metode penyimpanan (hybrid system) dapat menjadi solusi yang lebih optimal dalam meningkatkan kemudahan dan kecepatan temu kembali informasi. Selain itu, keberhasilan pengelolaan arsip juga dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi sumber daya manusia dan konsistensi dalam penerapan sistem penyimpanan. Oleh karena itu, organisasi disarankan untuk memilih metode penyimpanan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan serta melakukan evaluasi secara berkala guna meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan arsip.   Kata kunci: pengelolaan arsip; dinamis inaktif; metode penyimpanan; temu kembali informasi.
