Abstract

Since the Covid-19 outbreak, resulted some health crisis and also disrupted economic activity. From these conditions, it could be seen that the SME’S sector (that majority were the lower middle class) had been heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This activity that held by PKM team in 2021 was aimed to provided education to all of entrepreneur that do some business in food and beverages regarding business ethics during the COVID-19 pandemic. This activity was carried out at the Sengkaling Villa Meeting Hall, attended by 20 participants. To implemented our service activities was done by transferring knowledge and discussing some questions and also give the answers. Evaluation of participants' understanding was done by distributing questionnaires. Knowledge transfer was carried out by giving presentations on the meaning and purpose of business ethics, business ethics according to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad and also business ethics during the Pandemic. This activity received a positive response from the training participants and we hoped that the target audience will continue to upgraded services in the food and beverages sector so that businesses could survived during the pandemic while maintained good business ethics.

Abstract

Torjun village that located on the Sampang, Madura island was one of the village that very close to the beach. This village was also a fishing area because 95% of the population, especially men, lived by "majeng" (or as fishermen). Meanwhile, the wife of the fishermens was only became housewives. The problem that usually arises in fishermen's daily activities was the highly-needs for family life that wasn’t inapropriate with the income level from fishing, so that they must seeking any opportunities that could improve their income. Therefore, they was also needs special skills that can increase income for fishermen's wives. From that problems, we will give a training in making meatballs and nuggets from fish. This activity also received a high enthusiasm from the participants. This enthusiasm was proven by the completeness of the 20 participants that were listened to the discussion. All of participants were active from the beginning until the end of the section. As the PKM groups, we were concluded that all participants were able to practice the results of the training by being able to made fish balls and fish nuggets that made from tuna and mackerel fish.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah Pusat Studi Layanan Disabilitas (PSLD) Universitas Brawijaya Dalam Pengembangan Karir Bidang Bisnis Pada Calon Tenaga Kerja Tuna Rungu memanfaatkan pedoman yang bersumber dari International Labour Organization (ILO). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kualitatif dengan data primer yang bersumber dari wawancara penelitian diperoleh dengan wawancara dengan pihak humas PSLD serta mahasiswa dan alumni universitas brawijaya dengan disabilitas tunarungu. Data primer kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan reduksi data. Hasil dari reduksi data kemudian dijelaskan melalui metode data display. Hasilnya, PSLD UB sudah memberikan layanan dalam kegiatan operasional perkuliahan seperti adanya volunteer dalam pengerjaan tugas, layanan penerjemah serta layanan digitisasi buku. namun disisi yang lain, masih belum ditemukan pelatihan kerja yang sesuai dengan jurusan dan program studi dari tiap mahasiswa. Bentuk pelatihan yang diberikan sebatas pelatihan wawancara kerja dan pembuatan curriculum vitae dan belum menyasar pada pelatihan prakerja dan pelatihan karakter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Penggunaan Smart Mobile Technology dan Safety Knowledge Terhadap Safety Behavior Pada Pekerja Kebersihan di PT WIS Malang. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 113 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner online kepada responden. Teknik Analisis Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif serta analisis statistik inferensial menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Uji Hipotesis dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Variabel Smart Mobile Technology berpengaruh terhadap Safety Behavior, Variabel Safety Knowledge berpengaruh terhadap Safety Behavior serta secara simultan variabel Smart Mobile Technology dan Safety Knowledge berpengaruh terhadap Safety Behavior.

Abstract

This Community Service (PPM) activity is carried out as a responsibility in fulfilling the obligations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The target objects in this PPM activity are women from the Asrama Brimob Batalyon B Pelopor, Kelurahan Ampeldento, Kecamatan Pakis, Kabupaten Malang. This PPM activity seeks to provide understanding through materials and guidance to promote the sale of chili chips using social media. This guidance is given to the public through material presentation activities and hands-on practical activities on how to create written and photo content which will later be used as material to promote chili chips products so that they are expected to get customers outside the Asrama Brimob Ampeldento. From this Community Service (PPM) activity, it is hoped that a synergy will be created between the women of the Asrama Brimob Batalyon B Pelopor Kabupaten Malang and the Malang State Polytechnic, that this guidance activity can help partners in increasing their income through promotional activities and sales of chili chips by use social media continuously.

Abstract

Masyarakat Dusun Petungsewu, Desa Duwet, Kecamatan Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang merupakan penghasil olahan gerit berupa Duwet Polinema Tortilla Chips (Dupitos). Dupitos merupakan tortilla chips dengan bahan baku dasar jagung. Terdapat kelemahan dalam usaha tersebut, yakni mengemas hasil ke dalam label sederhana, membuat produk secara visual kurang berkesan bagi konsumen. Oleh karena itu, tujuan kegiatan adalah merancang label kemasan Dupitos sebagai media promosi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan mulai bulan April sampai November 2022. Metode dalam kegiatan ini menggunakan pengumpulan data dan analisis. Proses desain menggunakan teknik THINK. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan label untuk Dupitos. Desain label mengadopsi metode THINK untuk mendesain label setelah melakukan analisis SWOT. Kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan di masyarakat Dusun Duwet Desa Petungsewu Kabupaten Tumpang mampu meningkatkan penjualan Dupitos. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari penjualan yang semula hanya 20 pak ukuran 100g per minggu menjadi 35 pak ukuran 100g dan 10 pak ukuran 250g per minggu.Kata kunci: desain; Dupitos; label; Petungsewu

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) in 2021, was carried out to provide training and guidance to mothers in the area around Pawon Buci Malang on Business Correspondence to help promote and market products from Pawon Buci Malang. The method used by the PkM Implementation Team is to provide an explanation of the meaning of letters, understanding of business correspondence, the importance of correspondence (especially during the Covid 19 Pandemic), requirements for a good letter, function of letters, language of letters, nature of business letters, form of letters, sections -Department of Letters, Sales Methods - Direct Sales, Kinds of Letters (Introduction Letters, Offer Letters, Order Acceptance Letters, Order Confirmation Letters, Order Rejection Letters). This PkM activity received high enthusiasm from the participants. The enthusiasm was evidenced by the completeness of the 5 participants who listened carefully and actively from the beginning to the end of the activity. The PkM Implementation Team concluded that all participants were able to put the results of the training into practice by being able to write the necessary documents to promote and market Pawon Buci products.

Abstract

Desa DUWET Kec. Tumpang Kab. Malang memiliki potensi desa terutama untuk hasil-hasil pertanian. Salah satunya adalah hasil kebun berupa tanaman tomat. Masyarakat di desa Duwet terutama ibu-ibu rumah tangga cukup banyak dan memiliki waktu di rumah. Kegiatan sehari-hari mereka adalah bekerja diladang, di sawah dan berdagang. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, maka dirasa perlu menambah ketrampilan agar masyarakat mampu mengolah hasil pertanian yang ada. Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan selai tomat ini dilakukan dalam rangka memberdayakan potensi desa DUWET. Abstract

This service activity program is carried out with the aim of increasing competitiveness and expanding the marketing of superior products produced by the Malang State Polytechnic to partner villages and Polinema entrepreneurial students. This is done by providing encouragement and motivation to increase productivity through efforts to expand the marketing network. Assistance to PKM partners is provided in the form of knowledge, skills and best practices to market products as typical Polinema souvenirs. This service program is carried out together with DUWET partner villages, Tumpang sub-district, Malang district and the Malang State Polytechnic ETU Business Incubator. Apart from that, assistance and marketing access are also provided in order to increase the potential empowerment of village areas and increase business productivity so as to encourage improvements in the welfare of village communities and student businesses. The problem currently faced by partners is that partners (assisted village residents and entrepreneurial students of the ETU Polinema business incubator tenants) have production results in the form of processed products and handicraft products as well as creative industries that have the opportunity to be marketed, however, the trained partners have not been able to maximize their potential. So that superior products cannot be marketed optimally, they do not have sales access to market the resulting products to become superior products. Meanwhile, Malang State Polytechnic partners do not yet have superior products as souvenirs that Polinema colleagues can bring as typical Polinema products. The fostered partners do not yet have a good understanding of village economic development (Rural Economic Development) as an effort to improve the welfare of village communities and young Polinema entrepreneurial tenants through business development and exploiting market opportunities. Understanding the importance of packaging not only as product protection, but also as branding and product promotion media. It is hoped that good packaging will increase the value of the product to be sold.  The solution offered is to map superior products that are suitable and ready to be widely marketed as souvenirs from Polinema, design a product catalog from the mapping, design product packaging dosages as typical souvenirs from Polinema, and provide additional knowledge about the importance of optimizing product packaging. as well as marketing access for Polinema's fostered partners at events/activities held on the Malang State Polytechnic campus as well as ready stock product displays as souvenirs from Polinema.  Keywords: Community Empowerment, Social Entrepreneurship, Packaging Optimization, competitiveness.
