Abstract

During this time of the corona pandemic, many businesses experienced a decrease in income. This has an impact on the income that housewives earn. They complain about the increasing cost of household needs. Seeing the location in the eka kencana group, Medan johor sub-district, there is a lot of waste that can be used to use biomass energy to become a biomass stove. For this reason, the technology offered by socialization uses a biomass stove with insulation walls with a closed system, where the wood burning process is carried out in a room free from the influence of environmental air gusts. The method used in this activity is the socialization method for partner communities about the use of waste as an energy source for biomass stoves. The result of this activity is that the community can understand about the use of waste as an energy source for making biomass stoves to save expenses during the corona pandemic and take advantage of the surrounding waste and harm the local environment.

Abstract

Research is an activity to obtain a solution to a problem or phenomenon that occurs through scientific steps. To understand research, researchers must first understand what statistics are. Statistics is a science that studies the methods of collecting, processing, interpreting and drawing conclusions from the data collected or obtained. Therefore, statistics is said to be one of the sciences that is indispensable in research, not least in the field of mathematics education because statistics are used to identify and describe the relationships obtained from the data that has been collected and then processed to obtain a conclusion. The role of statistics has been seen from before the research was carried out, the research took place until the processing of research results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menerapkan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) untuk mengkaji sifat material pengaku pada kolom baja, metode konstruksi baja, praktik konstruksi di Asia, serta perbandingan desain pengaku pada berbagai kondisi struktur. Berdasarkan pendekatan Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), sebanyak 224 artikel diseleksi dan 50 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk, jenis material, dan posisi pengaku berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kapasitas aksial, daktilitas, dan ketahanan tekuk kolom baja. Pengaku tipe V dan T terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja seismik dengan peningkatan kapasitas beban sebesar 20–70%, bergantung pada konfigurasi desain yang digunakan. Praktik konstruksi di Asia didominasi oleh penerapan pengelasan elektro-slag, prefabrikasi, dan sistem Concrete Filled Steel Tube (CFST), meskipun aspek kualitas fabrikasi masih belum banyak diperhitungkan secara komprehensif. Kajian ini juga mengidentifikasi sepuluh celah penelitian utama yang dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan pedoman desain baja yang lebih efisien dan tahan gempa di kawasan Asia. This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to examine the material properties of stiffeners in steel columns, steel construction methods, construction practices in Asia, and comparisons of stiffener designs under various structural conditions. Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) approach, a total of 224 articles were screened, and 50 articles met the inclusion criteria for further analysis. The findings indicate that the shape, material type, and placement of stiffeners significantly influence the axial capacity, ductility, and buckling resistance of steel columns. V- and T-type stiffeners were found to be more effective in enhancing seismic performance, resulting in load capacity improvements ranging from 20% to 70%, depending on the design configuration employed. Construction practices in Asia are predominantly characterized by the use of electro-slag welding, prefabrication, and Concrete Filled Steel Tube (CFST) systems, although fabrication quality aspects are still not comprehensively considered. The review also identifies ten major research gaps that may serve as a foundation for developing more efficient and earthquake-resistant steel design guidelines in the Asian region.

Abstract

Hadirnya etnomatematika sebagai jembatan antara konsep matematika formal di sekolah dengan pengalaman budaya siswa menjadi penting dalam mengatasi kecemasan dan kesulitan belajar siswa sebagai pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan unsur budaya lokal sebagai konteks pembelajaran. Salah satu potensi yang belum tergali maksimal adalah tradisi Mandailing Manaek Bukkulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi Manaek Bukkulan sebagai sumber kontekstual dalam pembelajaran matematika yang mengkonkretkan geometri, aritmatika, dan pengukuran melalui tradisi budaya Mandailing, sehingga siswa lebih mudah memvisualisasikan konsep abstrak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain etnografi etnomatematika terhadap elemen matematika dalam tradisi tersebut. Prosedur penelitian meliputi: (1) observasi partisipan intensif terhadap proses Manaek Bukkulan untuk mengidentifikasi elemen geometri, aritmatika, dan pengukuran; (2) wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh adat dan pelaku tradisi; (3) dokumentasi visual berupa foto dan sketsa bangunan adat; serta (4) analisis data kualitatif melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi dengan triangulasi sumber.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Manaek Bukkulan  dapat diterapkan dalam materi geometri (bentuk dan simetri rumah), aritmatika (perhitungan bahan bangunan), dan pengukuran (luas dan volume). Implementasi ini diharapkan dapat membuat pembelajaran matematika lebih bermakna dan relevan dengan budaya siswa Mandailing.
