Abstract

Penggunaan energi terbarukan semakin banyak diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, khususnya pada pemanfaatan energi dari matahari dengan bantuan perangkat sel surya. Energi dari sel surya secara luas dapat digunakan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan berbagai macam perangkat yang memerlukan energi listrik, salah satunya dapat digunakan sebagai sumber daya utama untuk pengoperasian perangkat prototipe desalinasi dual output. Perangkat ini memiliki fungsi dapat memproduksi air tawar dan kristal garam secara bersamaan melalui proses distilasi. Dengan menggunakan sel surya sebagai sumber daya utama, maka proses tersebut sangat ramah lingkungan dan murah dalam biaya operasionalnya, namun banyaknya energi listrik yang dibangkitkan oleh sel surya sangat tergantung dari cuaca di sekitarnya. Untuk mengefisienkan penggunaan energi sel surya maka peneliti memiliki solusi dengan menerapkan sensor suhu sebagai kontrol otomatis dalam menghidupkan dan mematikan elemen pemanas pada proses distilasi. Hasil yang didapat berupa sistem kontrol menggunakan perangkat mikrokontroler dan sensor suhu yang mampu secara akurat mengendalikan elemen pemanas dengan menyalakannya saat suhu di bawah 100oC dan mematikannya saat suhu di atas 100oC sehingga tidak terjadi pemborosan listrik saat proses distilasi pada suhu tinggi.

Abstract

Desa Pademonegoro di Kecamatan Sukodono Kabupaten Sidoarjo secara geografis terletak cukup jauh dari pusat kota Sidoarjo sehingga dalam pemahaman dan sosialisasi tentang cara menggunakan energi listrik dengan bijak dan hemat masih kurang. Persoalan yang dihadapi dari beberapa masyarakat Desa Pademonegoro adalah belum tahu bagaimana menggunakan sumber daya energi dengan hemat dalam menggunakan beberapa perangkat elektronik rumah tangga. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase pengetahuan masyarakat tentang cara berhemat energi dalam skala rumah tangga. Metode pelaksanaannya adalah dengan sosialisasi dan pemberian contoh cara menggunakan perangkat hemat energi dalam menghemat energi listrik di rumah. Hasil dari sosialisasi ini dapat diketahui bahwa pengetahuan masyarakat dalam cara berhemat energi listrik mengalami kenaikan sebanyak 80 persen.

Abstract

Security at the door is very important for everyone. because the door acts as access to enter or exit a private room. Therefore, the key as a door security plays an important role in implementing the security system. With the frequent occurrence of key loss and also the rise of increasingly sophisticated crime rates in breaking into or destroying conventional keys, it becomes a thought for the author to develop a security system that is more private in nature. That is by using an application that is expected to be a security in the form of a password which will certainly be more profitable. The design of this tool is made with Arduino as a processing center and a servo motor to function to move the doorlock. The next stage Arduino will give a command to the servo to open the door. Only certain people who have access passwords can open doors in rooms that use voice recognition. Meanwhile, those who do not have an access password will not be able to unlock the door in the server room. So that the design of a smart door lock tool that uses Arduino-based voice recognition will provide a more computerized level of security and access

Abstract

Currently, there are still many street lighting systems with electrical resources that use a full power system or a time system to regulate the power issued by the lamp so that in terms of the costs incurred for the lamp, it is also quite large. And in terms of maintenance, for now the problematic street lighting is still using conventional methods, namely waiting for damage reports from the field directly so that the handling of damaged lamps is very slow. Based on these problems, a street lighting lamp with automatic control will be designed that can adjust the light intensity and report the status of the lamp online through the Internet of Things (IoT) website which can be accessed using a smartphone or PC connected to the internet so that energy use and handling actions will be carried out. damage is more efficient. In this study, an automatic PJU was designed with a Passive Infrared Receiver (PIR) sensor to detect the presence or absence of objects around the lamp and an ESP module to connect the hardware to the internet network via a Wi-Fi connection . For the automatic system of turning on and off the lights based on bright and dark conditions of sunlight using a Photocell containing a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) . With the use of this system, it can be proven that the use of Passive Infrared Receiver (PIR) sensors and Thingspeak website-based monitoring can streamline spending on electricity financing and accelerate the handling of lamp damage.

Abstract

The development of knowledge and technology in the world of education is currently advancing rapidly, providing many new ideas, methods and innovations in the field of technology development, especially trainers. Home automation is the introduction of technology in a home environment to provide convenience and protection for residents by remote monitoring. The smart home modeling device based on the ESP8266 Node MCU and the Internet of Things (IoT) uses Blynk as a monitoring controller that is stored on a Virtual Private Server (VPS). This system uses relays to connect lights, sockets, and fans, the DHT11 Sensor detects humidity and temperature, the Flame Sensor detects fire, and the MQ-2 Sensor detects gas leaks. The results obtained that the average lag time for turning on the relay is about 0.12 seconds and the average turning off the relay is about 0.12 seconds, the average error of the DHT11 Sensor when detecting heat is 3.3O Celsius and when detecting cold is -28.2O Celsius, the limit for detecting fire on the Flame Sensor is a maximum of 20 cm, the limit for gas leakage is set above 200 ppm.

Abstract

Generators are widely used in offices, hospitals and companies that require a 24-hour electricity supply. Generators are often used to replace the main power supply from PLN in the event of a power outage. The purpose of this thesis is to make it easier for technicians to monitor the condition of the output from the generator, namely current, voltage, and rotational speed (RPM) with a monitoring and recording system that can work remotely. With the existence of a system of monitoring and recording remotely via a personal computer that can streamline the technician's time. Arduino uno as a data processing center that is integrated with the database. The monitoring and recording system on the generator is activated by connecting Wifi then this arduino gets input from the current, voltage and rotational speed sensors (RPM) the data will be processed with the arduino uno according to the data created on the system. This system is also displayed using Bylnk via a personal computer.

Abstract

Tujuan dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk memberikan siswa SMK PGRI 1 Surabaya materi penggunaan CCTV terutama dalam keamanan lingkungan yang semakin berkembang, Sekolah sebagai salah satu ruang publik yang memerlukan pemantauan setiap saat dan darimana saja melalui aplikasi yang berbasis internet untuk kenyamanan dan keamanan lingkungan sekolah. Pengawasan bisa dilakukan melalui aplikasi yang terinstal pada smartphone maupun gawai lainnya. CCTV tidak hanya sebagai pencegah pelaku kriminal, tetap juga untuk memantau kegiatan siswa dan dijadikan bukti bilamana ada kasus yang terjadi. Pengenalan CCTV kepada siswa diharapkan dapat memberikan tambahan wawasan agar dapat beradaptasi dalam perkembangan teknologi. Untuk itu pemilihan tema mengenai penerapan close-circuit television (CCTV) untuk meningkatkan keamanan lingkungan sekolah dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan tanya jawab, kami akan melakukan kegiatan pertukaran berdasarkan hasil. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan pemahaman dan inovasi siswa menunjukkan semakin meningkat dalam memahami penggunaan teknologi CCTV.

Abstract

As the development of knowledge and technology in the world of education is currently advancing rapidly, many provide ideas for new methods and innovations in the field of technological development, especially automatic door locks with a rhythm of knocking. Door locks are vulnerable to the risk of being left behind or lost, protection or security is needed to store them. This research is designed to build a private room door security by using the knock pattern of the process by performing a knock, identification to verification of each recognized knock pattern. The system will start working by doing the accuracy of the interval between knocks when the rhythm / rhythm of knocking based on previously stored data then the system is active, from that developed a tool that is used as a room door lock by knocking on the door with a rhythm / rhythm that has been adjusted to the knock. Using this tool is expected to help and maintain better room security.

Abstract

Gas is a molecule that is unbound, shapeless, invisible, and can transform into liquid or solid forms. Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) has become a part of people's lives, especially in cooking, and there are many benefits to using LPG. However, there are dangers posed by leaks of LPG gas that can lead to house fires. Improper installation of regulators is one such risk. Preventive measures against fire hazards caused by leaks can be anticipated by using the design and construction of an Early Warning System for LPG Gas Leaks based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using the Blynk application with the NodeMCU ESP8266 module. This device is equipped with an MQ-2 sensor, a relay, a 12V DC fan, and the Internet of Things. The system works as follows: when the MQ-2 sensor detects the presence of LPG gas, the relay turns on the fan, which will remove the gas from the vicinity of the open flame on the stove. The system can be monitored through the Blynk IOT application, which also provides notifications

Abstract

This research develops a prototype of a lamp setting system in a chicken incubator using DHT11 and Arduino Uno R3 sensors. The purpose of this system is to control the temperature and humidity inside the incubator automatically to create optimal conditions for hatching chicken eggs. The DHT11 sensor serves to measure temperature and humidity, while the Arduino Uno R3 is used as a microcontroller that processes data and regulates the heating lamp. This system works by comparing the sensor measurement results with a set setpoint value. If the temperature or humidity is outside the desired limits, the Arduino will turn the heating light on or off to return the ambient conditions to the optimal range. Tests show that this system is effective in maintaining the appropriate temperature and humidity, thus increasing the success rate of hatching chicken eggs. The results of this study show that the prototype developed can be a practical and efficient solution for the process of hatching chicken eggs.
