Abstract

Data collection is the most important thing in selling goods. Accuracy and speed in the process of storing and searching data are very influential in determining company profits. This research provides an alternative in implementing the data collection process using barcodes and implemented on Android-based mobile devices. It is hoped that this research will provide results in accordance with the objectives, which are to facilitate and accelerate users in processing data in order to produce accurate and fast information.

Abstract

Hal ini bertujuan agar makalah media pembelajaran pendidikan matematika yang valid dan praktis. Peneliti menggunakan tipe desain studi pengembangan dengan dua tahap, yaitu tahap pendahuluan dan tahap pembuatan prototipe. Pada tahap pendahuluan, peneliti menganalisis materi dalam bentuk datar dan dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan flowchart untuk menentukan urutan materi yang akan ditampilkan pada media pembelajaran. Pada tahap prototyping, peneliti menggunakan alur evaluasi formatif yang terdiri dari self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group, dan field test. Pada penelitian ini, aliran yang dilakukan hanya sampai pada tahap kelompok kecil. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan walkthrough, angket, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran yang dihasilkan valid dan praktis. Validitas suatu media pembelajaran ditunjukkan dari hasil validasi pada expert review dan one-to-one stage yang menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran baik dari segi isi, konstruk, dan bahasa. Kepraktisan suatu media pembelajaran juga terlihat pada tahap small group yaitu siswa dapat menggunakan media pembelajaran dengan baik, dapat membantu siswa memahami materi, dan siswa tertarik untuk menggunakannya. Abstract

The characteristics of a function are usually investigated by looking at the continuity of the function. But what happens if a function does not have continuous properties? To what extent can the characteristics of continuous function be maintained for discontinuous cases? The stochastic function that is widely involved in solving problems in the field of average financial mathematics is a discontinuous function. This is reflected by the acquisition of a smooth curve from the modeling drawing obtained. Today, the nature of continuous functions in [a, b] has been widely studied and developed. Some properties of the continuous function can be extended to the appropriate discontinuous function. In this paper described some integral reviews for discontinuous functions which are closely related to stochastic functions.

Abstract

Pengenalan waktu sangat penting untuk diketahui oleh manusia. Pada zaman dahulu manusia mengenali waktu berdasarkan tanda-tanda alami yang ditunjukan oleh alam. Saat ini manusia mengetahui waktu dengan mempergunakan jam. Pengenalan waktu ini diajarkan pada anak-anak sejak dini melalui berbagai cara, antara lain dengan alat peraga. Adapun cara yang penulis ajukan adalah dengan mempergunakan media interaktif berupa permainan dimana cara ini lebih atraktif dibandingkan dengan metode konvesional. Sebelumnya diharapkan dengan adanya aplikasi ini siswa/siswi TK Bustanul Athfal Medan dapat mengenali waktu dengan benar.

Abstract

Learning media has an important role in the student learning process. Seeing the declining student learning process, shows that students' understanding of the learning material is quite low. Media that is considered appropriate and in accordance with current conditions is learning media XYZ. Elementary School is one of the schools that is in the process of social studies learning media in the subject matter of Learning Media for the Introduction of Video and Web-Based Traditional Houses at XYZ Elementary Schools still using conventional methods of using textbooks and speeches so that students' attention is easily distracted because they are less attractive. learning methods. This has the impact that the students' lack of knowledge of the learning media for the introduction of traditional houses. if to overcome this problem the researcher makes learning media in the form of videos regarding learning materials for the introduction of traditional houses. With the existence of learning media for the introduction of traditional houses, it is easier for students to understand the lessons on introducing traditional houses using videos compared to the material provided by the teacher using the textbook reading method and lectures from the teacher.

Abstract

Teaching is an activity carried out by a teacher in transferring knowledge to students. Generally, the teaching and learning process is conducted in a room or class where there are teachers and students inside which are usually called face-to-face or offline meetings. The problem came when Covid-19 was determined to be an epidemic disease in the world so the Government did not allow the teaching and learning process to be conducted offline. This means all teaching and learning processes must be conducted online. For this reason, the ability of teachers to make teaching media that will be presented online must be upgraded in order to make the subject that should be transferred to students can be presented in a good and interesting manner. For this reason, we, the Universitas Harapan Medan Service Team, conducted a Training on Making Teaching Media for Kindergarten and Elementary School Teachers.

Abstract

Komputer pada umumnya tersusun atas dua komponen utama yaitu perangkat    keras (hardware) dan perangkat lunak (software). Kedua hal inilah yang membuat komputer tersebut menjadi alat elektronik multifungsi kepada penggunanya (brainware). Instalasi adalah proses pemasangan dan penyetingan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak agar bisa digunakan oleh sistem. Pengelolaan Instalasi Komputer memberikan pembelajaran tentang segala sesuatu yang memungkinkan pengelolaan instalasi sistem komputer pada suatu instansi sehingga diharapkan mampu menjamin sistem komputer yang dipergunakan dapat dioperasikan secara maksimal. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 7 Medan khususnya pada jurusan Teknik Komputer Jaringan yang berlokasi di Jl. STM No. 12E, Sitirejo, Amplas Kota Medan Sumatera. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar siswa/i mampu mengenal dan memahami perangkat keras, perangkat lunak, pengguna dan mampu mengelola instalasi komputer dengan baik dan benar. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi yaitu ceramah, demonstrasi dan tanya jawab dengan materi dikemas dalam powerpoit dan ditampilkan menggunakan infokus. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan 75% siswa-siswi yang mengikuti kegiatan ini dapat mengetahui dan memahami komponen dasar sistem komputer, bagaimana pengelolaan instalasi komputer yang baik dan benar untuk diterapkan pada sebuah organisasi  serta manfaatnya..

Abstract

The new student selection process is very important to ensure the quality of prospective students accepted into universities. Harapan University considers various factors, such as high school majors (science, social sciences, or TKJ), academic test results, interviews, diplomas, and academic and extracurricular achievements. The manual approach that is still often used tends to be time-consuming, inefficient, and prone to errors. This study aims to develop a decision support system based on the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the selection process. The PSI method was chosen because of its ability to evaluate criteria directly without requiring weighting. The results of the study show that the PSI approach is able to produce the best candidate rankings based on predetermined criteria. This system offers a more organized, transparent, and accurate solution in the new student selection process.

Abstract

The selection of the right laboratory assistant is very important to support practicum activities in the laboratory. The complex selection process requires a systematic approach to assessing candidates based on various criteria, such as GPA, semester specialty, programming knowledge test, interview test. The Multi-Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison (MABAC) method is one of the methods in multi-criteria decision-making that can be used to solve this problem. MABAC offers an effective approach to evaluating and ranking candidates based on the weight of predetermined criteria. This study implements the MABAC method in SPK for the selection of laboratory assistants, with the aim of improving objectivity and accuracy in the selection process. The results of this system show that MABAC is able to provide consistent and reliable recommendations in determining the most suitable candidates as laboratory assistants.
