Abstract

Pabrik Karung Rosella merupakan salah satu produsen penghasil karung yang berlokasi di Ngoro Industri Park , Mojokerto , Jawa Timur. Proses produksi yang diterapkan oleh Pabrik Karung Rosella adalah sistem continuous production. Pada penelitian ini variabel terikatnya adalah efisiensi perawatan mesin , sedangkan variabel bebas nya terdiri dari MTTO, MTTY dan MTTR. Selama bulan mei 2015 sampai oktober 2015 mesin Circular Loom mengalami Breakdown atau mati mendadak sebanyak 88 kali . Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, maka perusahaan membutuhkan penyelesaian untuk mempercepat aktifitas perawatan mesin Circural Loom yaitu dengan menggambarkanaktifitas perawatan mesin berupa Current State Map Sehingga dapat diidentifikasi aktifitas mana yang termasuk Value Added dan Non Value Added , lalu melakukan penggambaran Future State Map yaitu mengurangi kegiatan yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah dalam memperbaiki mesin Circural Loom dapat meningkatkan efisiensi perawatan mesin , sehingga aktifitas perawatan mesin mencadi lebih cepat dan lebih efisien.

Abstract

Distribusi adalah suatu proses penyampaian barang atau jasa dari produsen ke konsumen dan para pemakai, sewaktu dan dimana barang atau jasa tersebut diperlukan. Masalah yang terjadi yaitu sering mengalami keterlambatan dalam proses pengiriman produk terutama di daerah Surabaya dan sekitarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan rute distribusi dengan menggunakan metode Tabu Search. Metode ini digunakan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada lokasi agen, pencapaian hasil yang optimal untuk mengurangi jarak, dan dapat memenuhi order dengan tepat waktu. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini didapatkan rute, yaitu total jarak tempuh untuk rute awal perusahaan yaitu sebesar 246,8 km sedangkan untuk rute optimal distribusi menggunakan metode tabu search yang didapat, total jarak tempuhnya sebesar 169,7 km. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa rute optimal distribusi metode tabu search lebih baik dari rute awal perusahaan sehingga didapat penghematan rute distribusi sebesar 77,1 km. Adapun jumlah kendaraan yang dibutuhkan adalah total 5 pickup box dengan kapasitas: Rute 1 (124kg), Rute 2 (161kg), Rute 3 (168kg), Rute 4 (160kg), Rute 5 (117kg).

Abstract

Work facilities can affect an operator. Unsafe and comfortable work facilities can reduce operator performance and pose a risk of work accidents. CV. XYZ is a business entity engaged in contracting and advertising services. Every day, operators work with non-ideal body positions (bent, sit down) which affects their performance in fulfilling work and causes disturbances in the skeletal muscles of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs). It is necessary to review the work facilities for operators. This study aims to design an ergonomic work facility to reduce skeletal muscle disorders at certain work stations based on an evaluation using the Quick Exposure Check (QEC) method. The results showed that the highest average exposure level value was found in the workstation on the raised letter work, which was 71.60%, so it was necessary to make changes to the workstation. The proposal given is in the form of a chair and table design for operators using anthropometric data. The new design is expected to reduce the risk of injury to the operator's work, especially injuries to the skeletal muscles, and improve the performance of the workers themselves.

Abstract

Sebagai perusahaan di bidang bumbu penyedap rasa, PT XYZ menghadapi kendala dalam produksi monosodium glutamat (MSG) yaitu tidak terpenuhinya spesifikasi produk khususnya pada variabel pH, moist, kadar Cl- dan warna. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui nilai DPMO dan memberikan nilai sigma untuk kualitas produk menggunakan metode six sigma dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pada produk MSG di PT XYZ. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah six sigma dengan tahapan six sigma antara lain Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, dan Control (DMAIC). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada variabel pH memperoleh nilai DPMO sebesar 21.967 dengan nilai sigma 3,515, variabel moist memperoleh nilai DPMO sebesar 22.596 dengan nilai sigma 3,503, variabel Cl- memperoleh nilai DPMO sebesar 18.424 dengan nilai sigma 3,587, variabel warna memperoleh nilai DPMO sebesar 17.037 dengan nilai sigma 3,619 sehingga perlu dilakukan analisis penyebab terjadinya cacat kualitas dan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk mencapai level 6 sigma. Penyebab munculnya outspec pada produk adalah karena faktor manusia, material, dan mesin.. Berdasarkan FMEA diketahui penyebab outspec dengan RPN tertinggi 315 pada variabel pH adalah operator kurang teliti dalam melakukan perbandingan NaOH dengan asam glutamat. Adapun rekomendasi perbaikan yaitu mengawasi operator supaya tepat dalam menghitung perbandingan NaOH dan asam glutamat.

Abstract

The spread of the virus makes the presence of health facilities very important. The public health center must provide health services to improve the health status of the community. Its operation, there are several complaints about the existing facilities at the Kedamean Gresik Health Center, so it is necessary to research the quality of service in that place. The purpose of this study is to analyze the value of service satisfaction and determine the attributes that need to be evaluated to improve services at the public health center. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents who were patients at the public health center. The data obtained were processed using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) methods. The results showed a customer satisfaction index of 70.8% which means that customers at the Kedamean Gresik Health Center are satisfied with the services provided, but it is necessary to make improvements in certain attributes. Based on the results of the analysis of attributes that need to be improved, they consist of A3, B2, B3, C2, C3, and E1 in quadrant B, and service attributes consisting of A2, A4, C1, and D1 in quadrant A.

Abstract

ABSTRAKAir merupakan salah satu sumber daya alam dengan jumlah yang tidak akan pernah habis. Air untuk keperluan minum merupakan kebutuhan vital yang tidak memiliki substitusi atau pengganti. Sumber mata air yang bersih dan melimpah pada Desa Kembangbelor sebelumnya telah dikelola dengan baik oleh pelayanan KPSPAM Kembangbelor, dimana selama ini desa hanya menjual air yang telah difiltrasi secara alami ke depo atau perusahaan yang membutuhkan. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah belum adanya kegiatan pengelolaan air minum dalam kemasan atau air minum isi ulang yang dikelola pihak desa sendiri. Dengan memproduksi air minum dalam kemasan (AMDK) atau air minum isi ulang, tentunya dapat menambah pendapatan desa. Maka tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk menyelesaian masalah melalui diversifikasi hasil pengolahan dan penjernihan air bersih menjadi air minum kemasan melalui teknologi tepat guna alat penjernihan air, pengadaan alat filter air ozonasi dan sinar UV, pendampingan dan sosialisasi pengoperasian alat kerja, sehingga diharapkan dapat menambah pendapatan desa. Tahap yang dilakukan dalam memproduksi air minum dalam kemasan adalah dengan mengumpulkan air dari mata air ke dalam sebuah bak penampungan, kemudian air dari bak penampungan tersebut dimasukkan kedalam mesin penjernihan air. Selanjutnya dilakukan proses penyaringan sebanyak 3 tahap yakni proses prefilterisasi, filterisasi dengan karbon aktif, dan mikro filter, setelah air minum melalui proses penyaringan selanjutnya dilakukan proses disinfeksi, selanjutnya wadah kemasan air minum dicuci dan disanitasi, kemudian air minum tersebut diisi kedalam wadah kemasan dan dilanjutkan dengan proses pengepakan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu pengadaan teknologi mesin UV filter dan produk air minum dalam kemasan merek AMDK "Amerta". Kata kunci: air; pengolahan; penjernihan; AMDK; UV filter. ABSTRACTWater is one of the natural resources with an amount that will never run out. Water for drinking purposes is a vital need that has no substitute or replacement. Clean and abundant springs in Kembangbelor Village had previously been well managed by the Kembangbelor KPSPAM service, where so far the village only sold naturally filtered water to depots or companies that needed it. The problem that occurs is that there are no bottled water management activities or refill drinking water managed by the village itself. By producing bottled drinking water (AMDK) or refill drinking water, of course it can increase village income. So the purpose of this community service activity is to solve the problem through diversifying the results of processing and purifying clean water into bottled drinking water through appropriate technology for water purification equipment, procurement of ozonated water filters and UV light, assistance and socialization of the operation of work tools, so that it is hoped that this will increase village income. The stage in producing bottled drinking water is to collect water from a spring into a holding tank, then the water from the holding tank is fed into a water purification machine. Furthermore, a three-stage filtering process is carried out, namely the pre-filterization process, filterization with activated carbon, and micro-filter, after the drinking water has gone through the filtering process, then the disinfection process is carried out, then the drinking water packaging containers are washed and sanitized, then the drinking water is filled into packaged containers and continued with the packing process. The result of this community service activity is the procurement of UV filter machine technology and bottled drinking water products with the "Amerta" AMDK brand. Keywords: water; processing; purification; AMDK; UV filtere.

Abstract

The mining company uses a variety of grinding machines to process minerals, whereas the most common type of machine is the Semi-Autogenous Grinding SAG Mill machine. This machine is employed for the mining process of hard rock as raw material into gold, copper, and silver. However, the SAG Mill machines are often broken, even suddenly not working, with an average loss time of 97.30 hours which impacts a decrease in efficiency and production quality of up to 40%. It can cause losses that do not reach the production target. This research aims to measure the effectiveness of the SAG Mill machine and determine the failure using the OEE and FMEA methods. The results showed that the SAG Mill machine is still under standardized based on the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM), which is 85%. The FMEA method and RPN value apply to analyze downtime losses, and idling is the loss that highly affects the effectiveness of SAG Mill machines. Recommendations for the company are to increase the number of equipment that aims to prolong the machine's age and accelerate production. This research contributes to another solution to help maintenance managers by measuring the effectiveness and determining the failure of the SAG Mill machine

Abstract

Machine maintenance must be carried out as a support for the reliability of a machine so that the production system can run smoothly to meet production needs. The fundamental problem of this study is in PT XYZ with the Roll Table 5Q machine, which frequently experiences sudden damage caused by critical components. The goal of the study was to determine the maintenance time interval of the 5Q Roll Table machine, the optimal age of the machine, and the number of mechanics based on the minimum total maintenance cost in an effort to improve the reliability of the machine using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II methods and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) methods. From the results of research for critical components As Roll Table obtained interval value of 331 hours / 13 days once a year with the selection of action is Scheduled restoration task and for Bearing components obtained interval value of 109 hours/5 days once a year with the selection of action is Scheduled on-condition task. From the calculation of the total life cycle cost of Rp. 3,720,459,386 with the optimal number of mechanics on the Roll Table machine as many as 3 mechanics with an efficiency level of 9.63% with an optimal age for the Roll Table machine 5Q is 12 years.

Abstract

Desa Kembangbelor merupakan salah satu Desa yang terletak di wilayah Kecamatan Pacet, Kabupaten Mojokerto. Sebagian masyarakat di Desa ini berprofesi sebagai petani. Salah satu komoditas yang dihasilkan yaitu ubi jalar. Sayangnya usaha untuk memasarkan produk olahan ubi jalar belum dibarengi dengan strategi pemasaran melalui internet karena kurangnya tingkat pemahaman dalam menggunakan aplikasi Facebook. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan penggunaan Facebook sebagai media internet marketing kepada pelaku usaha produk olahan ubi jalar di Desa Kembangbelor. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei, penyuluhan dan evaluasi (obersvasi dan wawancara). Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Peserta telah mampu menggunakan fitur-fitur yang ada di facebook seperti facebook ads, marketplace, page, messenger, beranda, status, dan grup.
