Abstract

ABSTRAK Sistem persediaan atau inventory sangat penting bagi perusahaan sekarang ini, karena akan berpengaruh pada kelancaran proses produksi, tinggi rendahnya biaya inventory, serta kemampuan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Banyak hal yang telah dilakukan leh perusahaan untuk mengatur menejemen inventory ini sedemikian rupa sehingga biaya inventorinya bias ditekan denngan tidak mempengaruhi kemampuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Salah satu dari sekian banyak inventori yang digunakan adalah sistem Vendor Manages Inventori (VMI). Dalam VMI ini supplier bertanggung jawab untuk menentukan kapan akan mengirimklan barang yang dibutuhkan oleh buyer dan juga menentukan kuantitasnya, sedangkan buyer hanya menyediakan inisial data mengenai produksi yang akan mereka lakukan dan juga mengenai permintaan konsumen dari waktu ke waktu. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dibahas keuntungan dan keerugian dari penggunaan sistem VMI ini baik dari pihak buyer maupun suoplier baik dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang dan juga akan dibandingkan kinerjanya dengan sistem yang selama ini telah banyak digunakan yaitu sistem Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Studi ini dilakukan di PT Semen Gresik Tbk dengan mencoba model pada beberapa raw material yang dipasok oleh salah satu supliernya. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah dalam jangka pendek buyer mendapatkan tambahan keuntungan, sedangkan supplier mengalami keuntungan. Sedangkan dalam jangka panjang, keuanya mendapatkan tambahan keuntungan.   Kata Kunci : Vendor Managed Inventory, Economic Order Quantity.

Abstract

Perusahaan industri kecil mempunyai potensi dan peran yang tidak kecil dalam menunjang perekonomian nasional. Sementara itu, industri kecil sendiri masih mempunyai keterbatasan dalam kemampuan dan ruang geraknya. Bertitik tolak dari hal itu, maka perlu dilakukan identifikasi variabel-variabel yang berpengaruh pada industri kecil. Suatu kenyataan yang tidak bisa dipungkiri bahwa lingkungan perusahaan senantiasa berubah dan berkembang, oleh karena itu perlu kiranya perusahaan memperhatikan dan menyikapi perubahan tersebut dengan merumuskan strategi yang sesuai dengan perkembangan lingkungan. Salah satu metode perumusan strategi secara sistematis yang mempertimbangkan perubahan lingkungan adalah metode CSSF. Pada metode CSSF ini digambarkan profil perusahaan pada saat ini berasarkan faktor turbolensi lingkungan, faktor agresivitas perusahaan, dan faktor responsivitas perusahaan. Dengan melihat dan membandingkan profil perusahaan pada saat ini, diharapkan dapat dirumuskan strategi secara tepat pada indutri kecil kerajinan dan tenun di Surabaya dan sekitarnya. Strategi yang dimaksud adalah strategi yang harus diterapkan agar perusahaan mencapai kesuksesan pada masa dating sejalan dengan perkembangan lingkungan perusahaan.   Kata Kunci : Industri kecil, CSSF, perubahan lingkungan, strategi.

Abstract

AbstrakKebanyakan usaha dagang bahan bangunan di Sidoarjo dalam mengukur efisiensi masih menggunakan single input dan single output, sehingga tidak akan didapatkan penjelasan yang lebih mendetail mengenai faktor-faktor yang terlibat dalam pencapaian kondisi efisien. Adanya permasalahan untuk mengetahui penjelasan yang mendetail mengenai faktor-faktor yang terlibat dalam pencapaian usaha yang paling efisien, maka perlu dilakukan pengukuran efisiensi relatif usaha dagang bahan bangunan di Sidoarjo. Pengukuran efisiensi relatif menggunakan metode Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), yaitu membandingkan efisiensi unit usaha dagang yang sejenis dimana efisiensi 100 % tidak ditentukan oleh unit usaha dagang yang bersangkutan tetapi merujuk kepada unit usaha dagang yang menghasilkan kinerja yang baik. Hasil pengolahan DEA, didapatkan 4 (empat) usaha dagang bahan bangunan di Sidoarjo yang efisien dengan nilai efisiensi relatifnya sebesar satu yaitu UD. Karya Gemini, UD. Ardi Mulyo, UD. Sari Bumi Raya dan UD. Barokah. Sedangkan UD. Makmur adalah usaha dagang yang inefisien dengan nilai efisiensi relatifnya sebesar 0,9959227. Dalam strategi rencana perbaikannya, UD. Makmur mengacu pada UD. Barokah dan agar UD. Makmur dapat meningkatkan efisiensi relatifnya sebesar 100 % maka UD. Makmur perlu meningkatkan jumlah semen yang terjual sebesar 19,35%, Jumlah kapur yang terjual sebesar 1,21 %, pendapatan sebesar 11,15 % serta mengurangi jumlah pasokan semen sebesar 0,54 % dan jumlah pasokan kapur sebesar 56,7%   Kata Kunci : Data Envelopment Analysis, Efisiensi Relatif

Abstract

ABSTRAKBanyaknya lahan pemukiman serta tingkat kepadatan penduduk yang tinggi di sepanjang daerah aliran sungai (DAS) mengakibatkan timbulnya berbagai masalah diantaranya adalah meningkatnya sumber pencemaran limbah domestik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas air sungai berdasarkan pada perilaku masyarakat sekitar daerah aliran sungai (DAS) Pegirian dan membuat model dinamik yang menyatakan hubungan antara faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas air Sungai PegirianVariabel penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu: Curah hujan, Debit aliran sungai, Suhu sungai, Tingkat pertumbuhan penduduk, Kebutuhan oksigen biologis, Kebutuhan oksigen kimia. Sedangkan variabel terikat, yaitu; kualitas air sungai Pegirian Ujung Surabaya Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari perilaku pemukim di sekitar Sungai Pegirian, pembuangan limbah domestik (rumah tangga), keadaan Kelurahan Ujung, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sistem dinamik untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 3 skenario kebijakan yang dapat memperbaiki kualitas air Sungai Pegirian di Kelurahan Ujung yaitu penggusuran rumah sekitar aliran sungai, pembuatan Ipal Domestik Individual Biofilter Anaerob-Aerob dengan Media Batu Split serta Pembuatan jamban di setiap rumah serta pembuatan Ipal Domestik Individual Biofilter Anaerob-Aerob dengan Media Batu Split. Dari ketiga skenario tersebut skenario ketiga yaitu pembuatan Ipal Domestik Individual Biofilter Anaerob-Aerob dengan Media Batu Split dapat mereduksi kadar Biologycal Oxygen Demand (BOD) sebesar 15% - 71% serta kadar Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) sebesar 32% - 88%.Kata Kunci : Aerob,Anaerob,BOD,COD,Lahan permukiman, Pencemaran air sungai, Sistem dinamis ABSTRACTThe river provides water for the benefit of human life and the organisms that live in Increasing the density of the population with poor economic conditions forced people to live along the watershed (DAS). The number of residential land and high population density along the watershed (DAS) resulted in the emergence of a variety of issues such as increasing sources of domestic sewage pollution. The problems of river water pollution is a problem with the system is quite complex and involves a variety of components interacting variables. Complex problems and the many variables that affect the system, because that study using dynamical systems methods to solve the problem. The research result in 3 scenarios policies that can improve water quality in the Village of River Pegirian the eviction of houses around the river, making the “IPAL” Domestic Individual Biofilter Anaerobic-aerobic with Media Split Rock and the Making toilets in every home and making BioFilter Individual Domestic “IPAL”Anaerobic -aerobic With Split Rock Media. Of the three scenarios is a third scenario that is making BioFilter Individual Domestic “IPAL” Anaerobic-aerobic Media Split Rock can reduce BOD levels of 15% - 71% and COD levels of 32% - 88%. Abstract

Salt is one of the community and industrial consumption products that have the main content of sodium chloride (NaCl). The present quality of the salt product contains about 90-93% sodium chloride, and the other is known as an impurities of calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), potassium (K) and sulfate (SO4) ions. The presence of these impurities will decrease the quality of the salt product, so a method is needed to decrease the content of impurities in the salt product. One of the methods that can be used to reduce the levels of impurities such as Ca, Mg, K and sulfate (SO4) ions in salt solution is ion exchange method. In this study we studied the effect of cation resin amount (50-150) grams per liter of salt solution and anion solution (150 grams) and contact time (5-25) minutes on removal of Ca, Mg, K and SO4 ions. The study was conducted in a stirred tank with a fixed rotation speed of 200 rpm, and the initial quality of the salt solution contained Ca ions: 0.07%, Mg: 0.09%, K: 0.04% and SO4: 0.4%. Based on the result of the research, the removal of Ca ion: 93.6%,Mg :78.93%, K : 25.00% dan SO4 : 85.47 %at condition of cation resin amount: 150 gram / liter and contact time 25 minutes

Knowing that success in the implementation of the strategy implemented by management to achieve the vision and mission that has been established, it would require an appropriate measure of performance using a design with two Spencer competence perspectives measurement comprehensibly and integrated that is in each criterion is expected to concretely describe the performance of the company and can be used as a measure of judgment in the provision of incentives. This study aims to support the decision to give incentives to the grup of employees with competency-based Spencer and Analytic Hierarchy Process as a weighting in the decision-making strategy to improve company performance. Based on the results of performance measurement in companies using the Sakti PT.Biru Spencer and Analytical Hierarchy Process can be concluded that the employee grup A has a value of 3.516 of performance achievement., grup B has a value of employee performance achievements 3.059, grup C has a value of employee performance achievements 3.138, grup D employee has a value of 3.57 and the achievement of performance grup E employees have a value of 3.563 of performance achievement. The results of measurements of the performance of each grup of employees by using the method of Spencer and AHP, are known to facilitate the performance of each grup and the management in providing the right incentives, the amount of incentives that should be given to each work grup performance based on achievement during the first 3 months in 2009, where employee grup B the highest incentives of Rp 6,153,907, -, grup D employees of Rp 6,113,469, -, grup of employees amounting to Rp 5,845,617 A, grup C of Rp 3,669,158 employees and employees of grup B of Rp 3,217, 850

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is the main thing that must be considered by every company, both service and production, so customers do not switch keperusahaan competitors, and customer satisfaction always changing according to the era or the era of human development. In terms of customer satisfaction that this changing, we need quality improvement program. This study used the method ROQ (Retrun On Quality), namely, the methods used for decision making will improve the quality of the proposed program, can be used or not. ROQ very to influence by the amount of customer satisfaction, customer retention and cost of the proposed program of quality improvement. In determining the quality improvement program proposal, use graph mapping IP From research result shows an increase in customer satisfaction and customer retention, each of which is 80.41% to 81.22% and 24.56% to 28.56%, which reached the stage These proposals deserve diimpelementasikan quality improvement program. By using the data market growth, market share data, the average benefits agents and the interest rate at the time of planning time, then the calculation can be done ROQ.ROQ calculations, requiring the calculation of NPV, NPV0, NPVAS conducted as a planning horizon of 5 periods ahead. From the calculation results, obtained NPV Rp.152.636.602.289, 00; NPV0 for Rp.145.407.658.197,00; and NPVAS of Rp.3.573.189.670, 00; so ROQ value of 2.0231. The result was states that the proposal is feasible quality improvement program to be implemented, until rate reached 46.457%.

Abstract

Seaweed industrial wastewater which contains 17.9% potassium can be used as a raw material for making multi-nutrient fertilizers. 1 liter of wastewater is reacted with 1 N phosphoric acid with a certain volume (15, 20, 25, 30, 35 ml) and 30 ml of aluminum sulfate (17,18,19,20,21%) stirred at a speed of 35 rpm for 25 minutes. The precipitate formed is dried. The results showed that the greater the volume of acid and the concentration of aluminum sulfate added with fertilizer obtained and the K, P, and S ion content was getting smaller. Fertilizer produced with the highest content of K ions (9.3%), P ions (9.7%), and S (9.295%) was obtained in the addition of 17% Aluminum Sulfate coagulant and 15 ml volume of H3PO4 (1N), and fertilizers produced weighing 4.0128 grams.
