Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of the Atib Koambai cultural tradition in the village of Teluk Nilap, Kubu Babussalam District, regarding the Existence of the Atib Koambai Cultural Tradition. The formulation of the problem of this research is what is the background of the birth of the Atib Koambai tradition and what are the factors that influence the Babussalam community to carry out the Atib Koambai tradition and how is the existence of the Atib Koambai tradition in the Babussalam community, Rokan Hilir Regency. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the historical background and how the existence of the Atib Koambai cultural tradition in the Babussalam Community, Rokan Hilir Regency. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of the people of Kubu Babussalam District, namely 4 people from traditional leaders / Tuan Kholifah, Ustadz and and young people (3 people). Data analysis techniques in this study used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The findings in this study explain that the existence of the Atib Koambai cultural tradition is still carried out today but has experienced shifts or changes such as in the field of transportation, implementation procedures, and people's understanding of the Atib Koambai tradition in Teluk Nilap village, Kubu Babussalam sub-district, Rokan Hilir due to a lack of the public's interest in participating in the implementation of the Atib Koambai cultural tradition so that it can cause the loss or extinction of the existence of the Atib Koambai cultural tradition in the Babussalam stronghold community.

Abstract

The background of this research is regarding the influence of peers on students' learning interest. The influence of friendships and social activities of students with peers can be said to be quite strong, because in this phase the amount of time individuals spend with their peers is more than with their parents or family. The aim of this study was to find out whether there is peer influence on students' learning interest at Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru Vocational School. This type of research uses a descriptive quantitative approach, with data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation and interviews. After considering the data and discussion, it was found that the F test yielded F_tab = 4.00 and F_hit = 15.470. Since F_hit is greater than F_tab, we can conclude that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on this statement, the research hypothesis is accepted. In addition, the influence of Peers on Students' Interest in Learning is at a moderate level. Based on the results of the calculation above, it is explained that the value of the relationship (R) is 0.447. From the output, it is obtained a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.20 which implies that the independent variable (Peers) to the dependent variable (Student Learning Interest) is 20.0%. Based on the results and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that peers have a positive influence on student learning interest at Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru Vocational School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fenomena pelaksanaan kebudayaan Melayu Riau, khususnya meliputi unsur Bahasa, Busana dan Kuliner yang sudah mulai ditinggalkan masyarakat melayu kota Pekanbaru. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah peran Lembaga Adat Melayu Riau dalam pelestarian kebudayaan melayu di kota Pekanbaru dan Bagaimanakah kendala-kendala Lembaga Adat Melayu Riau dalam pelestarian kebudayaan melayu di kota Pekanbaru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakan peran Lembaga Adat Melayu Riau dalam pelestarian kebudayaan melayu di kota Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengurus Majelis Kerapatan Adat Lembaga Adat Melayu Riau Provinsi Riau dan pengurus Dewan Pimpinan Harian Lembaga Adat Melayu Riau Provinsi Riau. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrument penelitian adalah peneliti berpedoman kepada panduan pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif model Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lembaga Adat Melayu Riau telah melaksanakan perannya dalam pelestarian budaya Melayu Riau. Sementara itu, kendala yang dihadapi Lembaga Adat Melayu Riau antara lain: perbedaan dialek bahasa melayu yang berbeda disetiap daerah, jumlah dan kemampuan guru Budaya Melayu Riau yang terbatas, lebih banyaknya jumlah penduduk pendatang di kota Pekanbaru dan keterbatasan anggaran

Abstract

Air Emas Village is a village born from the transmigration class of 1991, the majority of which the population was imported from Java. The Air Emas Village KKN was carried out from July 10 – August 18, 2023 in Air Emas Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau, which consisted of 10 students, successfully conducting socialization activities for making fish balls made from catfish. The method carried out is the survey method and goes directly to the field. Consideration of the social and economic conditions of the village makes this activity one of the suitable activities to be carried out in Air Emas Village. The use of catfish raw materials because this fish is rich in protein and also has omega-3. The target of this activity is PKK mothers who will later use it to be a form of MSMEs. The purpose of this activity is to build the foundation of MSMEs to the community and be able to build businesses and form healthy patterns for the people of Air Emas Village.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to examine school quality report cards in order to enhance the standard of education. This study employs descriptive qualitative methodologies, which involve analysing data or documentation, doing observations, and conducting interviews. Data collecting methods encompassed interviews, observation, and documentation. The participants in this study included the principal, vice principal, school treasurer, three teachers, and five studentss, who provided information. In addition, the employed data analysis technique is comprised of data reduction, data collecting, data display, and conclusion. The findings of this study suggest that the implementation of school report cards or education report cards can enhance the overall quality of schools. The indicators on the quality report card that can enhance the quality of school education include the quality and pertinence of student learning outcomes, which are categorised as satisfactory and progressing in relation to students' reading skills, numeracy abilities, and character dimensions. Consequently, there is a positive correlation between pupils' proficiency in literacy and the overall quality of education, including numeracy and character development. The school's quality is directly proportional to the pupils' level of numeracy skills and character. Schools must consistently aim for high-quality student learning outcomes, necessitating changes in all areas that contribute to student achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya suatu tradisi pengobatan tradisional yaitu Togak Balian yang di dalamnya terdapat Nilai-nilai Pancasila, Sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dengan judul “Analisis Nilai-nilai Pancasila Yang Terdapat Dalam Tradisi Pengobatan Tradisional Togak Balian di Desa Pulau Kijang Kecamatan Kuantan Hilir”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Nilai-nilai Pancasila yang terdapat dalam Tradisi Pengobatan Tradisional Togak Balian yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat, penggalian informasi dengan menggunakan teknik Snowball Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu melaui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah motode deskriptif kualitatif. Motode ini dilakukan dengan pengolahan data yang hasil datanya disajikan melalui teknik miles Huberman. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 orang Infoman dengan 1 orang tokoh masyarakat, 1 orang (dukun) Superanatural, 1 orang pasien (pesakit), 1 orang masyarakat, 1 orang bayu (pembantu dukun/asisten), dan 1 Dendi (pembantu dukun/asisten). Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Nilai Pancasila yang terdapat dalam Pengobatan Togak Balian yaitu: 1) Nilai Ketuhanan dilihat dari sebelum pelaksanaan ritual kumantan harus dalam keadaan suci seperti melakukan wuduk terlebih dahulu, lalu membaca doa yang mereka lakukan pada saat pelaksanaan Togak Balian yang merupakan keyakinan mereka bahwa kesembuhan yang didapatkan hanya dari Allah SWT, dan hanya berusaha untuk meminta kesembuhan. 2) Nilai Kemanusiaan yang dilihat dari bentuk kepedulian sesama sanak keluarga dan para pelaksana Togak Balian yang berusaha untuk memberikan pengobatan untuk pasien yang sakit. 3) Nilai Persatuan yang terlihat dari kebersamaan, kepercayaan serta kekompakan baik sesama keluarga maupun para pelaksana Togak Balian agar Togak Balian berjalan dengan lancar. 4) Nilai Kerakyatan dilihat dari adanya musyawarah yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan kesepakatan sesama keluarga maupun para pelaksana Togak Balian sebelum melaksanakan Togak Balian untuk mendapatkan kesepakatan sesama. 5) Nilai Keadilan sosial dilihat dari semua masyarakat yang sakit (pasien) memiliki hak untuk melakukan pengobatan menggunakan Togak Balian dan tidak memandang status sosial baik kaya maupun miskin semuanya sama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh adanya suatu tradisi di Kenegerian Sentajo yaitu hari raya Ke Rumah Godang ( Rayo Rumah Godang ) yang merupakan suatu kegiatan saat dilakukan perkumpulan untuk bersilaturahmi antara ninik mamak, cucu dan kemenakan. Acara ini di lakukan pada hari raya kedua Idul Fitri. Setiap kegiatan dalam tradisi ini dapat di Aktualisasikan dalam Nilai-nilai Pancasila, sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian dengan judul “ Studi tentang Aktualisasi Nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam Tradisi Rayo Rumah Godang Kenegerian sentajo”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Aktualisasi Nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam Tradisi Rayo Rumah Godang Kenegeriaan Sentajo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu melalui Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Aktualisasi Nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam Tradisi Rayo Rumah Godang Kenegerian Sentajo yaitu: 1) Nilai Ketuhanan, Aktualisasi dapat dilihat pada saat Perkumpulan suku, rapat adat, serta makan dan berdoa bersama. Persiapan yang dilakukan dalam Rumah Godang setelah acara selesai, dimulai dengan berdoa bersama hal ini menekankan pentingnya rasa syukur, dan Pengabdian kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. 2) Nilai Kemanusiaan, Aktualisasi Nilai kemanusiaan menekankan pentingnya saling membantu dan peduli terhadap sesama anggota suku, hal ini sebagai wujud dari Nilai kemanusiaan. 3) Nilai Persatuan, Saat perkumpulan suku, rapat adat, serta makan dan berdoa bersama hal itu merupakan bentuk dari kebersamaan persatuan masyarakat Kenegerian Sentajo. 4) Nilai kerakyataan, Aktualisasi Nilai kerakyatan pada saat berkumpul, rapat adat di mana keputusan diambil melalui proses musyawarah yang melibatkan tokoh-tokoh adat serta pemangku adat Kenegerian Sentajo. 5) Nilai Keadilan Sosial, ketika hari raya bersama di Rumah Godang seluruh ninik mamak dan cucu kemenakan mendapatakan penghormatan dan perlakuan yang sama dari segi apapun.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' lack of optimal application of civic disposition. Therefore, students' weak application of civic disposition is partly influenced by students becoming members of student organizations. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of student organizations on the civic disposition of students at the Universitas Riau. The population in this research was Universitas Riau students, totaling 30,292 people. Determining the sample in this research used the Isaac Michael table using an error level of 10%, thus obtaining 268 samples. The data collection method used in this research was a questionnaire. Based on the results of descriptive analysis research, it showed that the condition of student organizations was included in the good category with a percentage of 60% and the condition of civic disposition is included in the very good category with a percentage of 89%. Based on data analysis in this research, it was found that there was a positive and significant influence between student organizations on civic disposition, which showed that the value was fcount 84.525 ≥ ftable 3.88 and a significant value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so simultaneously student organizations (X) have a significant influence on the civic disposition (Y) of Universitas Riau students. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination test or contribution of the influence of student organizations (X) on civic disposition (Y) were 31%, while 69% was influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

Abstrak: Bullying merupakan permasalahan sosial yang kerap terjadi di persekolahan, tidak hanya secara verbal seperti mengejek dan mencaci. Tetapi sudah sampai kepada tindakan menyakiti fisik seperti memukul bahkan dapat menyebabkan kehilangan nyawa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi kepada peserta didik tentang pengertian, cara pencegahan dan penanganan hingga regulasi hukum mengenai bullying di indonesia. Metode yang dilakukan berupa sosialisasi, tanya jawab dan melalui permainan kartu sadari bullying. Adapun mitra dari pengabdian ini adalah 35 orang peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Atas. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemahaman peserta terhadap kegiatan ini, dilakukan evaluasi berupa pengisian google form, yang didapati hasil bahwa 100% peserta didik memahami bullying dan bertekad untuk tidak melakukan tindakan bullying dimanapun, pada siapapun dan kapanpun.Abstract: Bullying is a social problem that often occurs in schools, not only verbally such as teasing and insulting. But it has reached the point of physical harm, such as hitting, which can even cause loss of life. This service activity aims to provide education to students about understanding, how to prevent and handle it, as well as legal regulations regarding bullying in Indonesia. The methods used include socialization, questions and answers and through card games, awareness of bullying. The partners for this service are 35 class X students at SMAN 3 Dumai. To find out how the participants understood this activity, an evaluation was carried out in the form of filling out a Google form, which found that 100% of the students understood bullying and were determined not to carry out bullying anywhere, on anyone and at any time.
