Abstract

Psychomotor assessment is characterized by the presence of physical activity and performance skills by students. Unlike the students 'cognitive assessment, psychomotor assessment is based on the actualization and implementation of students' understanding of the various subject matter that has been obtained in the classroom. In some of the subject matter, psychomotor assessment determines the success of a lesson. This article is a literature research. this article aims to find students' psychomotor assessment format in Islamic Religious Education subject matter. The results of this study conclude that the assessment of the success of learners is not only determined from the cognitive aspects, but also from the affective and psychomotor aspects. Standard psychomotor assessment is made different from the cognitive assessment, that is by way of describing the test scores. Psychomotor assessment should be held by direct observation of learners, can not only practiced by written tests.

Abstract

This article discusses the problem of Islamic education from a theological and sociological point of view. The emergence of normative and verbalist Islamic education curriculum distorts the universality of Islam. Islam that is contextual in space and time, always in contact with sociological aspects, should be understood as something that can change its partiality dynamics continuously, even though there is a universal thing that is maintained as a normative belief. On the other hand, the failure of education to produce educational output that is dignified and virtuous has caused some people to distrust the world of education in developing the character and ethics of children. The vote of disbelief is getting stronger with the emergence of the National curriculum model which gives a greater portion of general subjects than religious subjects. This paper is a criticism of the development of the world of education in Indonesia, with the hope that education stakeholders make changes to the education system and the applicable curriculum.

Abstract

The industrial revolution that penetrated the world of education forced Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren), as part of education, to mutate in new form to find the ideal format as an adaptive step to keep up to date. Pesantren which have a cultural base of traditional society make various efforts to make acculturation with technology. The efforts of these pesantren can be seen from the number of pesantren websites, which provide information about pesantren and religious programs online. On the other hand, virtual pesantren have also emerged, which do not have a real pesantren institutional base in the community, using online media as an operational base. Some of these virtual Islamic boarding schools have strong buildings in cyberspace, with a wider reach than Islamic boarding schools. Its flexible and open nature makes virtual pesantren have their own community in cyberspace. Furthermore, problems arise when virtual Islamic boarding schools intersect with conventional Pesantren in cyberspace. This research is a library research that uses printed and online media as data sources. This study aims to find differences in the characteristics of virtual pesantren, and their relationship with the dynamics of pesantren in the era 4.0. From the content analysis conducted at several virtual pesantren, it was found that some of them used the same name as real pesantren, thus creating ambiguity of virtual pesantren

Abstract

The disparity in the equality of education in Indonesia, especially in backwoods areas, is one of the problems of education in Indonesia. One of the Government's action in overcoming this gap is by distributing teachers to remote areas of the country. In addition, the government also stipulates several laws and regulations as the formal legality of education in backwoods communities. This study aims to explore the possibility of implementing the homeschool education model (homeschooling) for backwoods communities, as an effort to applied Islamic subject matter and prevail education in Indonesia. This study uses a naturalistic phenomenological approach, using triangulation as one of the data analyzes. The research location is in Hansibong, a backwoods hamlet in the Sojol mountains of ParigiMoutong district, Central Sulawesi. The results of this study found that education in Hansibong is carried out informally within the family. Learning process is held in a traditional way, using very minimal of media, methods and subject matter. The material taught is limited to morality values, reading and writing, arithmetic and the ability to survive in nature. Islamic education in its function as a strengthening of cognitive intelegence, morals, spirituality and nationality has not been provided in learning at home. As a research implication, a homeschooling socialization effort is needed so that the student community can continue to a higher level. The implementation of homeschooling that is not in accordance with the technical guidelines issued by the government will only disserve students because learning outcomes cannot be equalized with existing education levels.

Abstract

This research study about the role of Majlis Taklim Sabilillah Mosque in improving religious attitudes Commercial Sex Workers at Tondo Kiri. Sabilillah Mosque functioned less well in carrying out propaganda Islamiyah through Majlis Taklim, because only enabled for the implementation of the obligatory prayers five times a day and learning the Koran for children. Religious activity is confined to the religious lectures delivered by teachers, clerics and religious leaders held incidental to the moment of commemoration of the Islamic and Ramadan alone, but never followed by the commercial sex workers who lived in the vicinity of the mosque. While other forms of religious activities, such as; religious education, recitation Koran for mothers, monthly taklim, zikir assemblies were never implemented at Sabilillah Mosque. It is no wonder, if the impact is felt by the people around localization Tondo was minimal, even no effect in improving the religious attitude of commercial sex workers who inhabit the majority of the localization region

Abstract

Natural disasters have an impact on educational, economic, social, political aspects, even at the religious level of the community. Some of the main factors causing many victims due to disasters are the lack of public knowledge about disasters, thus causing a lack of preparedness in anticipating the disaster. This research is a literature research, which aims to find a post-disaster management format based on Permendikbud Number 33 of 2019 concerning the Implementation of the Disaster Safe Education Unit Program. This research is motivated by the lack of socialization of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 33 of 2019 in educational institutions in Indonesia which causes schools to be unprepared in dealing with disasters. School unpreparedness further increases vulnerability to disasters. The research method uses content analysis and comparison. The results of this research analysis lead to a conclusion that school residents must be literate in disaster education as an effort to reduce disaster risk. This can be done through the following steps: 1) realizing structurally and non-structurally safe schools 2) incorporating disaster education into subject matter either through integration or separate materials, as well as intra and extra-curricular activities, 3) collaborating with the health office, BNPB , Search and Rescue, NGOs and institutions related to post-disaster management.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of a humanistic education model in a post-disaster schools, following the earthquake, tsunami, and liquefaction in Palu, Central Sulawesi, and focusing on learning strategies that place students at the center of the educational process, The objects of this study were two schools: MI AlKhairaat Lere and SDI Al Akbar Petobo. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data were analyzed thematically through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed six main points: (1) teachers implemented student-centered learning while taking into account students’ psychological conditions in the aftermath of the disaster; (2) learning methods were participatory and collaborative; (3) strengthening the values of empathy and solidarity was an integral part of the learning process; (4) curriculum flexibility was applied to accommodate students’ needs and limitations; (5) parents and communities were actively involved in supporting the learning process; and (6) a safe, comfortable, and motivating learning environment was established. The study concludes that applying a humanistic education model in post-disaster contexts is effective in restoring students’ learning motivation and rebuilding positive social interactions within schools. These findings are consistent with the principles of student-centered learning, active learning, and humanizing the classroom, while also contributing to the development of humanitarian-based educational strategies in times of crisis.

Abstract

The social changes of the Palu community after the 2018 disaster affected the values, attitudes, behaviors, and perspectives of some religious groups in society, which in turn forced the Balia tradition to transform as an adaptive step. This qualitative research aims to find the transformation of Balia by using an ethnographic approach. The research location was in the cities of Palu and Sigi. The sample was determined twice using the snowball technique and convenience sampling, which resulted in five respondents. Data was collected using depth interviews and analyzed using triangulation. This study found that Balia has transformed into a new form adapted to the community's needs and demands, called Sakaya. The term Sakaya is intended for someone who can be a medium or a means of communication with supernatural beings. Sakaya is not a colossal ritual but a personal ritual. The transformation occurs in the second aspect of Balia and does not leave the primary aspect. As a result, these rituals have become more effective, efficient, inexpensive, and easily accessible to the public. Another finding of this research is that the function of the Sakaya is extended beyond Balia, which includes economic, social, and political aspects, which makes it more acceptable in the social life of the Kaili tribal community. Perubahan sosial masyarakat Palu pasca bencana 2018 berdampak pada nilai, sikap, perilaku, dan cara pandang sebagian kelompok agama di masyarakat, yang pada gilirannya memaksa tradisi Balia bertransformasi sebagai langkah adaptif. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk menemukan transformasi Balia dengan menggunakan pendekatan etnografi. Lokasi penelitian berada di kota Palu dan Sigi. Penentuan sampel dilakukan sebanyak dua kali dengan teknik snowball dan convenience sampling, yang menghasilkan lima responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam dan dianalisis menggunakan triangulasi. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa Balia telah menjelma menjadi bentuk baru yang telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan tuntutan masyarakat, yang disebut Sakaya. Istilah Sakaya ditujukan untuk seseorang yang mampu menjadi media atau sarana komunikasi dengan makhluk gaib. Sakaya bukanlah ritual kolosal, melainkan ritual pribadi. Transformasi terjadi pada aspek sekunder Balia dan tidak meninggalkan aspek primer. Alhasil, ritual-ritual tersebut menjadi lebih efektif, efisien, murah, dan mudah dijangkau oleh masyarakat. Temuan lain dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa fungsi Sakaya diperluas di luar Balia, yang meliputi aspek ekonomi, sosial, dan politik, yang membuatnya lebih dapat diterima dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat suku Kaili.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dengan materi puasa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas III SDN 007 Nunukan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, ketuntasan belajar siswa hanya mencapai 60%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat hingga 100%. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, baik dalam aspek kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi guru untuk menerapkan metode pembelajaran inovatif guna meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan pemahaman materi secara lebih mendalam.
