Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) is carried out as a socialization and education activity for Tunas Palma Kerumutan Kindergarten (TK) children. This Community Service Activity (PKM) was carried out with the aim of describing how to improve children's speaking skills through the media of images. Based on the child's development, there are still many problems faced by kindergarten children such as difficulty speaking, connecting vocabulary for conversations in good and correct language in learning activities. Another goal of this activity is to facilitate optimal growth and development of children so that children prefer to play and socialize with their peers. This research was conducted using the literature review method and observed changes from before being given training to after being given training. Based on the results of the activities carried out by the UPI YPTK Padang PKM Team for Tunas Palma Kerumutan Kindergarten students, it can be concluded that media images have an influence on children's speaking abilities in Kindergarten (TK).

Abstract

Interpersonal communication skills are one competency of students to interact with others. Students who experience problems in interpersonal communication will be hampered in the process of developing creativity and increasing their academic achievement at school. This shows the need for efforts by counselors to develop the counseling service practices to increase students’ understanding of the importance of interpersonal communication and the factors that influence low interpersonal communication skills. This paper will introduce the basic concepts of interpersonal communication including; the concept interpersonal communication, the characteristics of interpersonal communication, the importance of interpersonal communication, interpersonal communication criteria, factors that effect interpersonal communication, the process of interpersonal communication, the purpose of interpersonal communication and, communication this can a reference.

Abstract

Play therapy merupakan penggunaan sistematis model teoretis melalui media permainan sebagai bahasa alami anak untuk membantu mereka mengatasi kesulitan psikososial serta mencapai perkembangan optimal. Pendekatan Play Therapy ini memainkan peran krusial dalam menyediakan ruang aman bagi anak untuk mengekspresikan emosi dan memproses pengalaman traumatis yang sulit diungkapkan secara verbal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran dan mekanisme play therapy dalam menurunkan dampak trauma pada anak akibat bencana alam, kekerasan, maupun penyakit kronis. Metode yang digunakan adalah library research (studi kepustakaan) dengan mengorganisasikan berbagai referensi teoretis, jurnal, dan dokumen relevan secara sistematis. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa play therapy efektif menurunkan gejala trauma melalui fase pembangunan rasa aman, eksplorasi simbolik, dan penerapan taksonomi permainan yang mendukung pemulihan fungsi sosial serta regulasi emosi anak. Diharapkan tenaga profesional seperti konselor dan pekerja sosial mengintegrasikan taksonomi permainan serta kearifan lokal dalam intervensi pemulihan trauma anak di berbagai lembaga layanan sosial.
