Abstract

Perempuan yang berprofesi sebagai ibu rumah tangga menjadi pedagang di pasar tradisional namrole terlihat peran Perempuan dalam meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga, penghasilan pedagang wanita di pasar tradisional kaiwait Namrole mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi keluarga mereka. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yang di maksud penelitian deskriptif yaitu menyelidiki keadaan, kondisi atau lain-lain. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan terlebih dahulu melakukan observasi dan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor-faktor apa yang mempengaruhi perempuan bekerja untuk memenuhi kehidupan keluarga. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa peran Perempuan sangatlah penting dalam pendapatan keluarga, kurangnya strategi pemasaran, ekonomi, pendidikan, sosial dan budaya mempengaruhi keputusan perempuan bekerja dipasar tradisinal Namrole dan setelah mereka bekerja sebagai penjual di pasar tradisional, pendapatan keluarga bertambah dan bisa mencukupi kebutuhan hidup..

Abstract

Character education focuses on positive values, ethics, and critical thinking, not just academic knowledge. In the modern era, which is influenced by technology and globalization, strong character, integrity, empathy, and critical thinking are essential. Economic literacy equips students with the ability to make wise economic decisions, shaping them into better individuals with strong character and the ability to contribute positively to their environment. The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance students' understanding of economic literacy concepts, provide them with essential economic knowledge, and encourage the development of strong and responsible character. The methods used in this activity include socialization and discussions. The success of the activity was measured using pre-test and post-test data, analyzed through the Paired Samples Test. The socialization of economic literacy implementation as a means of strengthening student character was successfully conducted. The significance value (Sig.) of 0.00, which is < 0.05, indicates that this community service activity had a significant impact on students' understanding of economic literacy. This activity had a positive effect, helping to improve students' comprehension of economic concepts while simultaneously strengthening their character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap sosial mahasiswa setelah mengikuti mata kuliahi studi masyarakat Indonesia pada program studi pendidikan ekonomi angkatan 2016. Dalam penelitian ini, jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif, ini merupakan penelitian yang bertujuan menguraikan sifat-sifat atau karakteristik dari suatu fenomena tertentu. Teknik penumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah, Angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi, angket digunakan untuk menilai sikap sosial yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa, wawancara digunakan untuk menganalisis sikap sosial yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa sedangkan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa arsip atau dokumen yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari empat indikator yang dikemukakan dalam variable penelitian (Indikator tolong menolong, sikap tenggang rasa, sikap menghormati dan sikap disiplin) rata-rata berada pada kisaran 50% dan termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik. Sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Ekonomi yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah Studi Masyarakat Indonesia memiliki sikap sosial yang cukup baik

Abstract

This study aims to explore teachers’ strategies in shaping the character of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 21 Ambon. The background of this research stems from the phenomenon of declining moral values among adolescents and the central role of teachers in character education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques involved in-depth interviews and documentation with teachers and students as the primary informants. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns in the applied strategies. The results show that three main strategies are employed by teachers: role modeling, spontaneous activities, and routine activities. Role modeling is carried out through the teachers’ everyday behavior, which serves as an example for students. Spontaneous activities include direct corrections and advice on students’ negative behaviors, while routine activities such as daily prayers, classroom cleaning duties, and flag ceremonies instill values like discipline, responsibility, and nationalism. These strategies have proven effective in shaping student character comprehensively. This study contributes to the development of a contextual, field-based model of character education. Its implications point to the need for teacher training and school policies that support the sustainability of character-building strategies

Abstract

Financial management is important in meeting family needs. The Covid-19 pandemic has added to the difficulties with the phenomenon of panic buying and decreased income. Family financial management is divided into short, medium, and long term. Through planning, fund allocation, implementation, and evaluation, families can manage finances effectively and efficiently. Community service activities in Soya Village aim to improve understanding and skills in financial management. Challenges include difficulty in identifying financial conditions and accessing investment information. The solution is to provide practical knowledge that can be applied daily. In conclusion, this activity is a small step in improving family financial stability. Financial management training at the Dasa Wisma Group in Soya Village improves the community's financial understanding. They learn the importance of financial management, stages, investment schemes, and implementation of spending plans. Positive responses show the relevance and need for this training, which is expected to help improve financial literacy and well-being.

Abstract

In the digital era, character education has become essential for shaping the personality of young individuals to be ethical and responsible. This study aims to explore the importance of character education in high schools in Nusalaut District, Central Maluku Regency. The findings indicate that digitalization significantly influences how students access information, interact, and develop their character. Without adequate control, the use of technology can negatively impact students' empathy and social skills. Therefore, integrating character education into the school curriculum through value-based approaches and programs like extracurricular activities is crucial. The involvement of teachers, parents, and the community is necessary to ensure that students can utilize technology wisely. With strong character education, students are expected to adapt to the challenges of the digital era while upholding moral values

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the quality and quantity of coffee yields in Sumber Rejo Village by optimizing quality seeds. The training was designed with a participatory and hands-on approach to enhance farmers' skills in seed propagation techniques, seeding, and pest identification. Based on pre-test and post-test evaluations, there was a significant increase in farmers' understanding, especially in seeding techniques (73.33%) and pest identification (60.42%), with an average increase of 55% across all aspects assessed. The program integrates interactive learning methods and continuous field mentoring for three months post-training, ensuring the adoption of the technologies taught. Results show that increased productivity and quality of coffee plants positively impact farmers' income. In addition, establishing autonomous farmer groups serves as local knowledge hubs, supporting the sustainability of adopting better agricultural practices. The success of this program can be replicated in other areas with similar challenges, especially in improving food security and rural economic welfare. With a holistic approach, the program is expected to become a sustainable model of farmer empowerment that is adaptive to climate change and market fluctuations.

Abstract

The community of Kelurahan Rahmah, South Lubuklinggau I District, Lubuklinggau City, faces problems of heavy reliance on chemical fertilizers and underutilization of agricultural waste such as rice husks. This condition has led to declining soil fertility, rising production costs, and suboptimal use of local resources. This community service program aimed to enhance the community's capacity to process rice husks into environmentally friendly and economical organic fertilizer. The method used was Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), emphasizing participatory learning through hands-on practice and reflective discussion. The activities were carried out in stages, including socialization, technical training, fermentation practice, learning outcome evaluation, and follow-up mentoring. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding and skills, particularly in the benefits and techniques of organic fertilizer production. Furthermore, the program encouraged community initiatives to produce fertilizer independently and form local processing groups. This transformation demonstrates that locally-based training can strengthen individual capacities while fostering collective awareness toward sustainable and self-reliant agriculture.

Abstract

Antecedent and Consequence of ICT Utilization in Education: Voices from  Private University Lecturers  In Indonesia. In the last few years, the adoption of information technology in education environment in Indonesia still low. The  utilization of information technology was expected giving a positive influence to lecturer’s performance. This research tested the factors empirically as antecedent in utilization of information technology such as social factor, affect, complexity, job fit, long term consequence, facilitating condition, and consequence of utilization of information technology to performance. The information technology in this research limited on using personal computer which supported the lecturer’s activity. Sampels in this research were private university’s economics lecturers in Indonesia. The lecturers of private universities in Maluku considered to represent private university’s lectures outside of Java and private university’s lecturers in Malang represented private university’s lecturers who was created to a control group. The result of this research found that private university’s lecturers in Indonesia perceived that utilization of information technology significantly gave positive influence to their performance. While utilization of information technology for half of lecturers were not influenced by six tested factors, and the others perceived that utilization of information technology were influenced by social factor, affect and facilitating condition Keywords: social factor, affect, complexity, job fit, long term consequence, facilitating condition.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i2.202203
