Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan data dari Perkumpulan Obstetri dan Ginekologi Indonesia (POGI), terdapat  536 ibu hamil terpapar Covid-19 pada periode April 2020-April 2021. Sebanyak 3 persen di antaranya meninggal dunia. Selain itu berdasarkan data Direktorat Kesehatan Keluarga per 14 September 2021 tercatat sebanyak 1086 ibu meninggal dengan hasil pemeriksaan swab PCR/antigen positif. Sementara dari data Pusdatin, jumlah bayi meninggal yang dengan hasil swab/PCR positif tercatat sebanyak 302 orang. Hal ini tentunya memberikan kontribusi yang sangat signifikan untuk angka morbiditas dan mortalitas ibu dan bayi. Dari data tersebut kementrian kesehatan RI memperkuat upaya penyelamatan ibu dan bayi salah satu diantaranya adalah mengedukasi dan memberikan pemahaman kepada ibu hamil terkait dengan pencegahan infeksi covid-19 pada masa kehamilan. Kegiatan pengabdian yang kami lakukan di kelurahan Salekoe tercatat 50 orang masyarakat pada umumnya dan terdapat 39 ibu hamil yang hadir di kelurahan Salekoe. Kegiaan yang dilakukan adalah penyuluhan tentang proteksi dan pencegahan virus covid-19 khususnya pencegahan dan penaganan virus covid-19 pada ibu hamil, Pemeriksaan Kesehatan dan kehamilan secara gratis, demonstrasi mencuci tangan dan menggunakan masker secara baik dan benar. Ibu hamil dan masyarakat sangat antusias Dengan pengarahan dari Kepala Desa, Bidan koordinator di kelurahan salekoe serta kepala RW dan RT sangat berperan dalam mengahadirkan masyarakat dalam kegiatan tersebut. Dari kegiatan pengabdian yang kami lakukan secara keseluruhan berjalan dengan lancar, sesuai dengan target program kerja yang telah kami susun sebelumnya. Kata Kunci: COVID-19, Ibu Hamil, Era New Normal ABSTRACT Based on data from the Indonesian Obstetrics and Gynecology Association (POGI), there were 536 pregnant women exposed to Covid-19 in the April 2020-April 2021 period. 3 percent of them died. In addition, based on data from the Directorate of Family Health, as of September 14, 2021, 1086 mothers died with positive PCR/antigen swab results. Meanwhile, from Pusdatin data, the number of babies who died with positive swab/PCR results was 302 people. This certainly makes a very significant contribution to maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. From this data, the Indonesian Ministry of Health has strengthened efforts to save mothers and babies, one of which is educating and providing understanding to pregnant women regarding the prevention of COVID-19 infection during pregnancy. The service activities that we carried out in the Salekoe village recorded 50 people in general and there were 39 pregnant women who were present in the Salekoe village. The activities carried out are counseling on protection and prevention of the covid-19 virus, especially the prevention and treatment of the covid-19 virus in pregnant women, free health and pregnancy checks, demonstrations of washing hands and using masks properly and correctly. Pregnant women and the community were very enthusiastic. With direction from the village head, the coordinating midwife in the Salekoe sub-district as well as the heads of RW and RT played a very important role in bringing the community together in these activities. From the service activities that we carried out, overall it went smoothly, in accordance with the target of the work program that we had previously prepared. Keywords: COVID-19, pregnant women, the New Normal Era

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara berkembang yang memiliki jumlah penduduk yang besar. Pertumbuhan penduduk di Indonesia menimbulkan masalah yang serius di negara ini. Hasil perhitungan jumlah penduduk Indonesia pada tahun 2019 mencapai 268.074.565 jiwa yang terdiri atas 133.136.131 jiwa penduduk laki-laki dan 133.416.946 jiwa penduduk perempuan. Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan menempati urutan ke-7 penduduk terbanyak di Indonesia dengan jumlah 8.851.240 jiwa. Jumlah ini menempatkan indonesia berada pada peringkat keempat penduduk terbesar dunia, setelah Tiongkok, India, dan Amerika Serikat. Di Kelurahan Salekoe masih banyak Pasangan Usia Subur yang bukan akseptor KB sebanyak 48 PUS. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan keikutsertaan PUS dalam ber-KB di Kelurahan Salekoe Kecamatan Wara Timur Kota Palopo tahun 2022. Terdapat 69 Pasangan usia subur yang menggunakan alat kontrasepsi. Sebanyak 33% Pasangan Usia Subur yang tidak berKB dikarenakan ingin menambah jumlah anak.

Abstract

Infectious diseases are the highest contributor to morbidity and mortality in developing countries, including Indonesia. This is inseparable from the many pathogenic bacteria that attack humans, causing various diseases. Infection due to Staphylococcus aureus, starting from the entry of bacteria through a wound scratch. Infection will be characterized by tissue damage accompanied by local abscesses such as boils or pimples. As an effort to prevent Staphylococcus aureus bacterial infection, antibacterial ointment preparations are needed that can prevent infection and are practical in their use. In this study, the antibacterial activity test of the ointment formulation of Bidara leaf extract (Ziziphus mauritania) was carried out with concentrations of 40%, 50% and 60% w/v. the test bacteria used was Staphylococcus aureus. This research was conducted using the agar diffusion method. The results showed that the test results for antibacterial ointment preparations with Bidara leaf extract with concentrations of 40%, 50% and 60% w/v fulfilled the results of the organoleptic evaluation test, homogeneity, spreadability test, adhesion test and pH test. The results of the ANOVA analysis showed that the formulation of Bidara leaf extract ointment (Zizyphus mauritania) with a concentration of 50% and 60% w/v had non-significant antibacterial activity with gentamicin sulfate ointment as a positive control against the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.

Abstract

Menurut WHO tahun 2020 terdapat 396,914 juta kasus kanker di seluruh dunia dan 234,511 juta wanita meninggal karena kanker leher rahim (cervical cancer). Kanker leher rahim (cervical cancer) menempati urutan kedua dengan total 36.633 kasus atau 9,2% dari seluruh kasus kanker. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan WUS tentang kanker serviks melalui pemeriksaan pap smear di Kelurahan Salekoe RT 03/RW 05 Kota Palopo. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metodologi konseling offline yang menyasar WUS usia 18-37 dengan kriteria tertentu. Sampel atau objek penelitian ini adalah seluruh WUS yang berdomisili di Kelurahan Salekoe RT 03/RW 05 Kota Palopo tahun 2022 yang berjumlah tidak kurang dari 32 orang. Evaluasi hasil kegiatan ini akan dilakukan dengan post test mengajukan pertanyaan tentang materi yang disampaikan oleh dosen. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan WUS tentang kanker serviks meningkat.

Abstract

Family planning counseling services are key in providing accurate information and touching on psychosocial aspects of the family. This activity was carried out to explore the potential for using audio-visual media to increase the effectiveness of family planning counseling services. The family planning program determines the quality of the family, because this program can save women's lives and improve the health status of mothers, especially in preventing unwanted pregnancies, spacing births can reduce the risk of infant death. Contraception is used to maintain birth spacing. Thus, the use of contraception can also reduce the risk of maternal and infant death due to too close birth spacing. Implementation Method: By utilizing audio-visual media in counseling related to contraceptive material and various contraceptive methods, both hormonal and non-hormonal types. short-term contraceptive methods consisting of birth control pills and birth control injections, condoms. Then, long-term contraceptive methods consisting of intrauterine devices (IUD), implants, tubectomy and vasectomy. Activity Results: Couples of childbearing age understand more about the delivery of contraceptives and various types of contraceptives. As a result of delivering the material, there were around 67 couples of childbearing age who attended, there were around 30 couples who wanted to use PIL contraception for 1 and 3 months, then 10 couples who want to use contraceptive implants and IUDs. Conclusion: The use of audio visuals in family planning (KB) counseling services can provide many benefits, audio visuals are not only beneficial for counselors but also for clients.

Abstract

The method used in participatory action service activities involves Posyandu cadres as the main subject. The aim of this service is to contribute to improving the quality of health services and community services at the posyandu level, including; improving counseling skills, increasing health awareness, improving communication, increasing community involvement, improving the quality of posyandu services and increasing community independence. Training is carried out through an interactive and participatory approach, with a focus on developing counseling skills, effective communication, and handling public health problems. The results of the service show a significant increase in Posyandu cadres' understanding of the concept of counseling and its application in Posyandu operational activities. Posyandu cadres who took part in the training showed increased ability to detect public health problems, provide emotional support, and design appropriate interventions. The implementation of these counseling skills in the Posyandu operational working group in Palopo City has had a positive impact on interactions between cadres and the community, increasing cadres' confidence in providing health information, and strengthening community involvement in disease prevention efforts. Counseling training for Posyandu cadres in Palopo City can be used as a model for developing similar programs in other areas. By strengthening cadre capacity, it is hoped that health services at the community level can be more effective and have a positive impact on improving the health status of the community as a whole.

Abstract

Peer support groups are an effective strategy in increasing knowledge, attitudes, and awareness of HIV prevention among adolescents. Health messages conveyed between adolescents are more easily accepted because they have strong social relationships and trust with each other. This activity aims to implement effective communication in peer support groups so that they can become pioneers of healthy behavior in the school environment. The implementation of this activity is a collaboration with the KPA Ternate City, the location of the activity at SMP Negeri 6 Ternate City on Friday, December 5, 2025. The method used was role-playing and discussion. Participants were representatives of junior high school students in Ternate City, the number of participants was 42 people consisting of 76.2% female, the largest age was 14 years (45.2%), the youngest age was 12 years and the oldest age was 15 years. All were 7th grade students. The results of the role-playing activity showed that 4 groups were able to practice the role of peer agents, formulating mini-dramas based on predetermined themes. Based on the mini drama script and discussion, it was seen that participants were able to explain the impact of HIV on adolescents, issues of healthy interpersonal relationships including issues of stigma and discrimination, healthy communication about sexuality and relationships, and the role of adolescents as peer educators.
