Abstract

Gaguritan Cangak is classified as a classic literature that can be studied in terms of themes, messages, and teachings contained in it. The Gaguritan Cangak theme is the impact of good and bad deeds, the message delivered does not quickly believe to the promises or sayings of others, always be wary of self-salvation, and believe in the truth of karmaphala law. The Hindu ethic in Gaguritan Cangak emphasizes the teachings of karmaphala, that any good deeds will be good deeds and bad deeds will be bad. The doctrine of good deeds of human deeds is known by the teachings of Trikaya Parisudha and Tri Mala.

Abstract

Yoga Ananda Marga Unit Karangasem is located on Amlapura City. However, the existence of some people in the city of Amlapura has not been known until now. The study was directed to get clarity about the implications of the existence of the Yoga Ananda Marga Unit Karangasem on the Karangasem community. Data is obtained by observation, interview, documentation, and literature study methods. The results showed that the implications of the existence of the Yoga Ananda Marga Unit in Karangasem include increasing the spiritual awareness of the community by conducting yoga activities with the community both conducted at the Ashram Yoga Ananda Marga Unit Karangasem and outside the ashram, especially yoga asanas, while for fasting camp, akhanda kiirtan and prabhat samgiit exercises were carried out at the Ashram Yoga Ananda Marga Unit in Karangasem; and the implications for social behavior were reflected in the form of social assistance in the form of delivery of groceries, cash assistance, free treatment, and home surgery

Abstract

 In Desa Adat Subagan Karangasem, the Ngantenang Karang Ceremony is often held, a Hindu ritual that is associated with the activity of combining two house yards. The Ngantenang Karang Ceremony is manifested in the religious aspect, to declare the presence of Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa and the Sang Ibu Pertiwi that a merger of two plots of land will be accompanied by an upakara (banten) which will be presented before him in order to invoke the blessing and safety and psychological aspects, namely to merge obtain a sense of comfort; latent functions in the socio-cultural aspects of realizing togetherness, and preservation of culture, educative aspects namely the application of ethical education to realize harmony; as well as economic functions, namely to save costs both in terms of environmental cleanliness of the yard and religious ceremonies. Constructive meaning with its efforts as a symbol of presenting Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, welcomed, served a dish and then requested to be pleased to provide clean or purity of the bhuwana agung and bhuwana alit, safety and success as well as fusion or unification; evaluative means that the application of positive norms in accordance with applicable and moral standards for the sake of the realization of peace, harmony and karahayuan; cognitive meaning that is building and maintaining the cleanliness and sanctity of the new yard for the sake of creating harmony between the parties both the owner of the yard with Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, between the family members of the owner of the house and between family members of the owner of the house and the natural environment; and expressive meaning that is able to realize the owner of the yard feels happy, peaceful, and happy.

Abstract

Lack of student interest in learning causes problems in the learning process. In dealing with this problem Sumerta 5 State Elementary School Denpasar applied traditional mapoh-pohan as a method of simulation of Hindu learning for class IV. The results showed (1) the form of traditional game mapoh-pohan as a learning method similar to the game of dragon snake but different in terms, language and song used (2) This method has several functions, namely: 1) educational function: increase participation, interest and achievement student learning, 2) social functions: improving students' social skills and teacher and student interpersonal relationships, 3) cultural preservation and 4) recreational media. (3) The values ​​contained in this method are: the formation of character (sportsmanship, honesty, independence, fieldwork, discipline and togetherness). Besides that, it also contained the values ​​of Hinduism, namely the cultivation of the teachings of chess paramita, and the teachings of satya.

Abstract

Marriage is a noble social institution because it is a Grhastha Dormitory, which is a place to carry out the Dharma. Grhastha has an important meaning in the life of Hindu society. One of the ways of marriage that is carried out by means of singing, especially Soroh Batu Jelantik in Gulingan Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The theory used to analyze the formulation of the problem is: 1). Structural Functionalism Theory. 2). Theory of Religion 3) Symbolic Interactionism Theory. The methods used to collect data are non-participatory observation methods, interviews, literature and documents. The technique of determining the informants used was Purposive Sampling. The collected data were analyzed with data analysis techniques with steps of reduction, data presentation, data drawing conclusions. The research results show 1). The reasons for carrying out the Ngamaling Soroh Batu Jelantik marriage in Gulingan Village are: 1. Carrying out the Tradition. 2. The caste system takes place. 3. The existence of interfaith marriage, and 4. Marriage under age. 2). The wedding procession of the Soroh Batu Jelantik wedding in Gulingan Village are: 1). The initial stage of the implementation of the Soroh Batu Jelantik marriage in Gulingan Village: 1. Mapajati 2. Map behavior 3. Inflammation 2).1. Makala-Kalaan ceremony 2. Widhi-Widhana ceremony. 3. Majuman ceremony. 3) The final stage of the implementation of the Ngamaling Soroh Batu Jelantik marriage in Gulingan Village, namely: 1. Macaru Sang Hyang Semara Ratih. 2. Complete marriage administration. 3). The impacts that exist on a ngamaling marriage are: 1. Psychological impact. 2. Impact on Family. 3. Religious Impact. 4. Social Impact.

Abstract

Formal education is one of the keys to the development and improvement of children's self- quality and behavior, especially elementary school education. This is where the role of educators is to provide education to students in accordance with the functions and objectives of National education which is carried out through various activities, one of which is through learning yoga asanas. Development in the field of education is very important in producing quality human resources. One of the institutions that have aspirations to make this happen is SD PGRI Denpasar City. The problems discussed include: (1) How is the process of implementing yoga asanas for elementary school students at PGRI Denpasar City? (2) What educational values are contained in learning yoga asanas for SD PGRI students in Dnepasar City? (3) What is the role of learning yoga asanas in SD PGRI Denpasar City students?. The theories used to analyze the problem are humanistic learning theory, value theory and role theory. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, literature studies, and document studies. The data that has been collected is analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis method with steps of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The technique of presenting the results of data analysis is presented formally and informally. The results of the study show: (1) The process of implementing yoga asanas for elementary school students at PGRI Denpasar City includes the stages of preparation, introduction, prayer, stretching, calming, Suryanamaskara and asanas, meditation and closing prayers, (2) Educational values contained in learning yoga asanas for students of SD PGRI Denpasar City, namely the value of religious education, the value of ethical education, the value of discipline education, the value of multicultural education and the value of health education, (3) The role of learning yoga asanas in SD PGRI Denpasar City students is to increase students' sraddha and devotional service, increase orderliness of students, increasing student tolerance, maintaining physical and spiritual health of students and developing student skills.
