Abstract

Garut Regency has 6,095 farmer groups, with so much data, suppliers find it difficult to find quality farmer groups and are located close together. Research at the Garut College of Technology has previously discussed geographic information systems for the general public, but no research has been found that applies the location-based service method. The purpose of this study is to provide information on the location of farmer groups spread across Garut Regency to facilitate access to information for suppliers by applying the location based service method. The method used for designing Android-based applications is the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology including the Inception, Elaboration, and Construction stages. The results of this study are in the form of a mobile-based application that provides information on the location of farmer groups spread across Garut Regency and has a critique or suggestion feature, so that users can provide suggestions to farmer groups in order to improve the quality of their business premises and commodity yields. Based on the results of functional suitability testing, it shows that the quality of the software is stated to be very high with a percentage value of 100%. This agricultural location mapping application can lead users to the exact location of the farm.

Abstract

RTIKAbdimas is one of the annual routine ICT Volunteer programs in Indonesia. ICT volunteers use the website for information delivery, communication, and registration. Previous research has uncovered implementing and developing web platforms that support similar or benefit such programs, including information services, communications, registration, and online monitoring. Existing research still needs to provide a complete solution to the problem of printed files and manual methods in the RTIKAbdimas business process. This study aims to develop a web-based RTIKAbdimas application using the Rapid Unified Process approach by adopting and complementing existing research results for different problems. This research has succeeded in meeting the system specifications of the RTIKAbdimas business process and includes several online services on web applications developed by previous research. All actors have a dashboard to enter data and access information on data processing results. The most crucial benefit of this research is the control and time efficiency of the activities of actors other than program managers.

Abstract

Technological advances in the 21st century demand Computational Thinking skills that are increasingly important in the digital era. However, the application of Computational Thinking (CT) at the primary and secondary education levels in Garut Regency is still limited. This study aims to improve the understanding of CT among students in elementary schools, junior high schools, and vocational high schools through a training program that includes pre-test, interactive training, and post-test. The training method was designed according to the educational level of the participants, using Bebras questions to train CT skills. The pre-test results showed an average initial score of 47.19, while the post-test results increased by an average of 25.75 points to 72.94. The findings show that the training successfully improved participants' understanding of CT through a structured approach, including introduction of concepts through sample Bebras problems, practice problems, as well as a comprehensive question and answer session.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Ma'arif Cilageni Kadungora is a formal educational institution established specifically for senior high school education. Madrasah Aliyah certainly has supervision, a financial payment system for tuition fees, and other payment systems. One of the problems in managing financial data for tuition payments is that it is still done manually, through written records and conventional number management applications. The focus of the problem may be on data recording or recapitulation, which is time-consuming and has a high level of human error. The methodology used in creating this system is the Rational Unified Process (RUP) with four stages: Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition. System modeling was performed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and the programming language used was PHP with the Laravel framework. The main objectives of this system are to facilitate schools in managing finances, reduce delays in tuition payments, and provide tuition payment information to parents or guardians of students via WhatsApp notifications. The results of the study show that students can make payments via Virtual Account, Bank Transfer, QRIS, or other methods. With the existence of Payment Gateway technology, it is proposed as a solution so that the payment process is automatically recorded in the madrasah's financial system, enabling schools to provide better services.

Abstract

Tourism destination information is often scattered across various unintegrated sources, making it difficult for visitors to obtain quick and accurate answers. This problem can be overcome by implementing chatbot technology that is capable of providing automated responses based on verified data. This study aims to implement a tourism information service chatbot using the open-source Flowise AI platform integrated with Google's Gemini Large Language Model (LLM). The system development method uses a waterfall approach, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Tourism information data is converted into vector representations through GoogleGenerativeAI Embeddings and stored in a vector store. The question and answer process is carried out using Conversational Retrieval QA Chain to generate relevant responses based on source documents. Testing results show that the chatbot is capable of providing fast, accurate, and appropriate answers based on available data, covering historical information, facilities, rates, cuisine, routes, accommodations, and tourism regulations. The contribution of this research is to provide an AI-based digital solution that facilitates access to tourism information, enhances user experience, and supports efficient tourism destination promotion.

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan sektor penting yang memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap perekonomian daerah. Kabupaten Garut sebagai salah satu daerah tujuan wisata di Jawa Barat mengalami penurunan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan, yang mendorong perlunya evaluasi berbasis data mengenai persepsi wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sentimen wisatawan terhadap pariwisata di Kabupaten Garut serta mengevaluasi performa algoritma Naïve Bayes dan Support Vector Machine (SVM) dalam mengklasifikasikan sentimen tersebut. Metode yang digunakan mengacu pada tahapan CRISP-DM, meliputi pengumpulan data ulasan wisata dari platform Google Maps, dilanjutkan dengan tahap preprocessing teks seperti pembersihan data, normalisasi, tokenisasi, stopword removal, dan stemming. Data dibagi menjadi data latih dan data uji dengan rasio 80:20. Kedua algoritma, Naïve Bayes dan SVM, diterapkan dan dievaluasi menggunakan confusion matrix dan classification report. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dari total data ulasan yang dianalisis, sebanyak 81.2% merupakan sentimen positif, dan 18.8% merupakan sentimen negatif. Pada tahap evaluasi model, algoritma Naïve Bayes memperoleh akurasi sebesar 91.62%, precision sebesar 94.69%, recall sebesar 88.19%, dan F1-score sebesar 91.32%. Sementara itu, algoritma SVM menunjukkan performa lebih tinggi dengan akurasi sebesar 95.74%, precision sebesar 99.12%, recall sebesar 92.31%, dan F1-score sebesar 95.59%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mayoritas ulasan wisatawan terhadap pariwisata di Kabupaten Garut bernada positif, dan algoritma SVM terbukti memberikan performa klasifikasi sentimen yang lebih baik dibandingkan Naïve Bayes.

Abstract

Covid-19 membatasi interaksi fisik dan mendorong penggunaan masker, sementara sejumlah sistem pengenalan wajah konvensional mengharuskan masker dilepas sehingga risiko paparan meningkat oleh karena itu penting adanya sistem pengenalan wajah bermasker dalam pencegahan penularan Covid-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini membuat model Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) untuk pengenalan wajah bermasker yang dapat diterapkan pada sistem presensi. Metode yang digunakan Machine Learning Life Cycle dan model dibuat menggunakan arsitektur VGG-16. Hasil penelitian ini berupa model yang diterapkan pada prototype sistem presensi yang dapat mengindentifikasi pengguna bermasker. Model dilatih 40 epoch dengan hasil nilai training accuracy 0.9900 serta nilai training loss 0.2694 sedangkan nilai validation accuracy 0.9500 serta nilai validation loss 0.4065. Evaluasi model oleh confusion matrix dengan hasil rata-rata akurasi sebesar 0.95 atau 95%. Pada tahap akhir pengujian, model digunakan pada prototype sistem presensi dengan hasil deteksi tercepat yaitu 6 detik dan terlama 42 detik yang mana hal tersebut menjadi kontribusi utama penelitian ini dengan sistem realtime dan pipeline augmentasi yang relevan untuk skenario wajah bermasker. Keterbatasan terletak pada skala data dan lingkungan uji yang terbatas. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan mencakup evaluasi menggunakan Real World Masked Face Recognition Dataset (RMFRD) atau Simulated Masked Face Recognition Dataset (SMFRD), eksplorasi arsitektur yang lebih bervariasi, serta percepatan inferensi.
