Abstract

Desa Wakah mempunyai komoditas utama ketela pohon/singkong dan hasil pertanian hortikultura. Di Desa Wakah terdapat UMKM “Gethuk Anyar” yang memproduksi gethuk singkong dalam skala besar, yang menghasilkan limbah kulit singkong rata-rata 80 kg per hari. Limbah kulit singkong belum banyak dimanfaatkan secara optimal sehingga menimbulkan bau busuk, penumpukan sampah, dan lingkungan yang tidak bersih. Tim pengabdian masyarakat akan melakukan pelatihan pemanfaatan limbah singkong menjadi produk berupa pupuk kompos, pupuk organik cair dan pakan fermentasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret dan April 2020 dengan peserta sebanyak 30 orang dari karang taruna desa Wakah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pemberian materi, diskusi dan praktik langsung dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah karang taruna Desa Wakah mampu memanfaatkan limbah  kulit  singkong  menjadi  produk  pendukung agrikultura berupa pupuk kompos, pupuk organik cair, pakan fermentasi. Tingkat pemahaman serta skill karang taruna Desa Wakah dalam mengolah limbah kulit singkong menjadi produk pendukung agrikultura sebanyak 85% dan menenuhi target penelitian. Masyarakat juga berkomitmen untuk mengembangkan produk secara mandiri. Sinergisitas antara masyarakat, pemerintah dan dunia industri diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah kulit singkong menjadi produk yang bermanfaatKata Kunci: fermentasi, kulit singkong, pupuk organik. Wakah Village Community Empowerment Through Utilization of Cassava Peel Waste (Manihot esculenta)ABSTRACTDesa Wakah has cassava and several horticultural products as its main commodity. There is a homemade production "Gethuk Anyar" which produces “Gethuk Singkong”, a kind of traditional foods, on a large scale. As the consequences, this production brings cassava peel waste approximately up to 80 kg per day. This waste has not been used optimally, thus it causes foul odors, garbage buildup, and a polluted environment as well. Based on that problem, the researchers conduct some training programs on the utilization of cassava peel waste into several products namely: compost, liquid organic fertilizer, and fermented food for animal. This activity was carried out between March and April 2020 with 30 participants from the Karang Taruna (youth) group. Those programs consist of providing materials, facilitating discussions, and conducting workshops with a participatory approach. The result of the programs shows that Wakah community was able to utilize cassava peel waste into three agricultural supporting products; those are: compost, liquid organic fertilizer, animal fermented food. In addition, the value of participants’ understanding and skill in processing the waste was up to 85% and it meets the standard research target. Moreover, the community is also committed to develop products independently. The synergy between Wakah community, the local government and the industry workplace is expected to increase community empowerment activities in processing cassava peel waste into some useful products.Key Words: fermentation, cassava peel, organic fertilizer.

Abstract

Desa Puntukdoro merupakan desa mitra dan binaan Universitas PGRI Madiun. Desa ini memiliki beberapa permasalahan diantaranya limbah ternak yang digunakan tanpa diolah dan hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan dan dampak kesehatan, minimnya suplay pupuk yang menyebabkan mahalnya harga pupuk di daerah ini, Hal tersebut menyebabkan petani yang sering merugi. Produksi biogas merupakan salah satu solusi dari permasalahan yang ada, selain menghasilkan energi terbarukan produksi biogas menghasilkan limbah outlet/slurry yang potensial dimanfaatkan untuk pupuk organic yang dapat memperbaiki struktur tanah. Tim pelaksan ajuga memiliki konsorsium kapang selulolitik hasil riset yang dapat digunakan untuk optimalisasi produksi biogas jika menggunakan limbah pertanian. Pelaksanaan Program Pengembangan Desa Mitra/PPDM ini dimulai dari survey, koordinasi, sosialisasi, aplikasi program yang meliputi instalasi reactor biogas, monitoring dan evaluasi. Setelah pelaksanaan PPDM ini banyak sekali dampak positif yang dihasilkan antara lain meliputi 1) Peningkatan pemahaman masyakat terkait pemanfaatan limbah pertanian dan peternakan untuk produksi biogas; 2) Peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terkait dampak negatif pembuangan limbah peternakan ke sungai; 3) Ketersediaan energi alternative yang ramah lingkungan; 4) ketersediaan pupuk organic berkualitas; 5) Peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas hasil pertanian; 6) peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Puntukdoro is a partner village and fostered by the Universitas PGRI Madiun. This village has several problems, including livestock waste, which is used without being processed, and this can cause environmental pollution and health impacts; the lack of fertilizer supply causes the high price of fertilizers, which is also causing the farmer to suffer losses. Biogas production is one of the solutions to the existing problems; in addition to producing renewable energy, biogas production produces slurry waste that can be used as organic fertilizers. This slurry also can improve the soil structure. The community services team also has a consortium of cellulolytic moulds from their research that can be used to optimize biogas production when using agricultural waste. The implementation of PPDM starts from surveys, coordination, socialization, application of the program, which includes the installation of a biogas reactor, monitoring and evaluation. After the implementation of PPDM, many positive impacts resulted, including 1) Increasing public understanding regarding the use of agricultural and livestock waste for biogas production; 2) Increasing public understanding regarding the negative impact of dumping livestock waste into rivers; 3) Availability of environmentally friendly alternative energy; 4) availability of quality organic fertilizers; 5) Increasing the quality and quantity of agricultural products, and 6) increasing community welfare.

Abstract

Cetacea adalah kelompok mamalia laut yang telah beradaptasi sepenuhnya dengan kehidupan air. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui informasi awal tentang Cetacea (paus dan lumba-lumba) dan persepsi masyarakat terhadap sumber daya laut tersebut di Perairan Pantai Wawaran dan Tawang Pacitan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran tentang keberadaan dan kondisi kelompok Cetacea di Perairan Wawaran dan Tawang sehingga dapat digunakan dalam pengambilan keputusan pengelolaan sumber daya laut di wilayah tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara mendalam terhadap 14 nelayan Pantai Wawaran dan 19 nelayan Pantai Tawang Pacitan menggunakan kuesioner tangkapan/tangkapan sampingan dugong yang terstandarisasi dari UNEP/CMS. Kuesioner terdiri dari 100 pertanyaan yang meliputi latar belakang narasumber, tangkapan/tangkapan sampingan dugong, persepsi, informasi perikanan, tangkapan/tangkapan sampingan penyu, dan tangkapan/tangkapan sampingan Cetacea. Pantai Wawaran dan Tawang merupakan habitat bagi Cetacea. Seluruh responden menyatakan pernah melihat Cetacea jenis paus dan lumba-lumba. Mereka melihat Cetacea ketika memancing dan ketika menuju lokasi memancing, Menurut responden, lumba-lumba yang mungkin hidup di lokasi ini berjumlah ribuan, sedangkan paus berada dalam jumlah yang lebih sedikit. Seluruh responden juga menyatakan melihat lumba-lumba hampir setiap hari. Rata-rata responden mengetahui bahwa paus dan lumba-lumba merupakan hewan dilindungi. Disisi lain, responden juga dapat menjadi ancaman karena mereka menganggap lumba-lumba sebagai pengganggu. Lumba-lumba sering merusak jaring dan menghabiskan ikan di dalamnya. Selain itu, populasinya yang melimpah menyebabkan responden berpikir bahwa keberadaan Cetacea tidak penting. Perlu dilakukan pendampingan kepada nelayan-nelayan di Pantai Wawaran dan Tawang agar memahami dan ikut menjaga keberadaan sumber daya laut tersebut.

Abstract

In Indonesia, synthetic chemical fertilizers are generally used to spur plant growth. The use of synthetic chemical fertilizers is known to reduce soil quality, causing resistance to pests and plant diseases. One of the natural potencies that can be used as growth promoters is Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) producing bacteria. The objective of this study was to measure the levels of Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) from the rhizosphere bacterial isolate of green beans which is thought to be able to produce Indole Acetic Acid (IAA). The method used was a descriptive approach, including the isolation of green bean rhizosphere bacteria, measurement of Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) levels in bacterial isolate, and data analysis. Green bean rhizosphere bacterial isolate produced Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) with an indication of a color change after the addition of the Salkowski reagent, and quantitatively the results of calculations in the standard curve equation for Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) obtained a value of Indole Acetic Acid (IAA) levels was 50.91 ppm.Keywords: Indole acetic acid, rhizosphere, bacteria

Abstract

Learning outcomes are an evaluation mechanism in the curriculum to achieve graduates competency standards. Student learning outcomes include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of DJP Model based module to student learning result of class XI. The research used experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. The research population is all of the XI MIA class of SMA Negeri 1 Geger with a total number of 192 students scattered into six classes. The sample which is taken by using simple random sampling technique resulted in two classes, namely XI MIA 3 class (experimental class using DJP Model module) which consist of 34 students and XI MIA 6 (control class using teaching material in school) which consist of 34 students. Data collection techniques are done through test (measuring cognitive learning outcomes) and non-tests (measuring affective and psychomotor learning outcomes). The research instruments used in this research were multiple choice questions, observation sheets, and documentation. The data were analyzed using SPSS 18 t-test with significance level of 0.05. The result of the analysis showed the experimental cognitive learning result of experimental class is higher (75,29 with 76,47% completeness) than control class (59,12 with 8,82% completeness) with significance level 0,000. The affective learning outcomes of experimental class were higher (89.78) than the control class (23.43) with significance level of 0.000. The experimental psychomotor learning outcomes of experimental class were higher (90.72) than control class (9,84) with a significance level of 0.000. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that the DJP Model-based Module gives positive effect on student learning outcomes of XI graders.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to figure out how compensation affects loyalty by giving people more power. It does this by using a quantitative method called SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis with the help of the SPSS 23 and Amos 24 programmes. The research instrument was put through tests to see if it was valid and if it could be trusted. In this study, 125 people answered a questionnaire. The data was collected using a saturated sampling method, meaning the whole population was used as a sample. Based on the results of this study, we know that the value of cr in H1 is 4.215.2. This means that it has significant results, which means that compensation variables significantly affect loyalty. Since H2 has a cr value of 2.860 2, we know that the empowerment variables have a big effect on loyalty. H3 has a value that says the total effect of pay on loyalty through empowerment is greater than the direct effect. This means that empowerment is an intervening variable that will help make teachers and staff more loyal.

Abstract

Learning media in the form of books or prints are increasingly being marginalized by more modern and sophisticated learning media. Therefore, it is important to compile an encyclopedia that is packaged practically. The high biodiversity in Indonesia can support the preparation of an encyclopedia. The purpose of compiling this encyclopedia is to find out the diversity of local birds. The preparation of the encyclopedia begins with analyzing the encyclopedia, designing the encyclopedia, and validating the encyclopedia. The results of the encyclopedia validation show that it is feasible to use with a material percentage of 75% and 91.67% media.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a practical and user-friendly SMART E-Encyclopedia of Lepidoptera diversity as a biology learning resource for Class X Students. This research was a Research and Development (R&D) research using the Borg and Gall development model. This research was only carried out for eight stages with the following steps: (a) potential problem, (b). data collection, (c) designing the template on Canva, (d) preparing the draft, (e) uploading the product on the flipbook, (f) validation, (g) revision according to the suggestion of the validator, and (h) uploading the revised product to the flipbook platform. Lepidoptera diversity was identified from March to May 2023 in Ndodang Forest, Widodaren Village, Gerih Sub-district, Ngawi Regency. The development of the SMART E-encyclopedia was conducted from May to August 2023. SMART E-Encyclopedia was subjected to validation by the material expert, media expert, and Class X biology teacher to obtain a score of 70%, 93%, and 80%, respectively. Based on the scores, the product had an average percentage of 81% and was feasible for use as a biology learning resource for Class X students. The advantages of this e-encyclopedia are (1). Explanation of broader material. (2). This E-Encyclopedia was equipped with video and many application features to make it easier for users.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis menjadi titik fokus pendidikan di era abad 21, sebagaimana berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu dimensi yang dilatihkan dalam profil pelajar pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA pada mata pelajaran Biologi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 107 siswa kelas X. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal tes two-tier multiple choice. Soal dibuat mengacu kepada enam indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis yaitu Interpretation, Analysis, Evaluation, Inference, Explanation dan Self-regulation. Hasil penelitian keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada indikator Interpretation menunjukkan persentase 23,33% dengan kategori rendah, indikator Analysis menunjukkan persentase 53,67% dengan kategori sedang, indikator Evaluation menunjukkan persentase 60% dengan kategori tinggi, indikator Inference menunjukkan persentase 57% dengan kategori sedang, indikator Explanation menunjukkan persentase 24,33%  dengan kategori rendah, dan indikator Self-regulation menunjukkan persentase 60,33% dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 59% yang dapat dikategorikan keterampilan berpikir kritis yakni sedang atau cukup baik.

Abstract

Research has been carried out in March-June 2021 on the Mount Lawu climbing route via Cemoro cage starting from the entrance gate to an altitude of 2100 meters above sea level. This study aims to analyze various kinds of Pteridophyta species diversity found in Cemoro Kandang, Mount Lawu, Observing Anatomy, Studying the condition of physicochemical parameters and making learning support media in the form of encyclopedias obtained from observations and research. Observation of Pteridophyta using plot method and roaming method. Pteridophyta retrieval using the plot method, carried out by making 5 stations first, then plotting 5x5 m2. This collection aims to represent plants found in a community on the hiking trail of Mount Lawu via Cemoro cage. While the cruising method is used to retrieve documentation along the hiking trail. Data analysis carried out included abundance, diversity index, physicochemical parameters, and module making. Based on the research data, various ferns (pteridophytes) both epiphytes and terrestrial plants with a total of 18 species from 3 stations were divided into 7 epiphytic plants Davallia denticulata (Burm. ) mett. Belviacia revoluta (BI.) Copel. Phymatodes scolopendria (Burm.) Ching. Asplenium adiantoides (L) C. Chr. Elaphoglossum tonduzii Christ. Crypsinus enervis (Cav.) Copel. Vittaria elongata sw. 11 terrestrial plants Polystichum aculeatum (L) Roth ex Mert. Dennstaedtia punctilobula (Michx.) T. Moore. Chingia sakayensis (Zeiler) Holtt. Adiantum pedatum. Pteridium aquilinum (L). Khun. Gleichenia linearis (Burm.) Clarke. Athyrium asperum (BI.) Milde. Pteris Muricella Fee. Cyathea sp. Blenhnum orientale L. hypolepis brooksiae v.A.v.R. Species diversity is calculated by counting the number of important value indexes. The highest INP diversity of Pteridophyta Belviacia revoluta (BI.) Copel. With an INP value of 47.6. The results of the physicochemical parameters showed an average air temperature of 18.3°C, light intensity 752Lux, humidity 74% RH, soil pH 7.3, soil moisture 1%. The results of the analysis of the Encyclopedia that have been validated show that it is "fit" to be used with a percentage of 78.57%.
