Abstract

This study aims to obtain a production work safety and health plan in PD. Princess Baroque. Occupational accidents can cause production cost losses. Therefore, workplace accidents must be prevented, among other things, through risk analysis. One of the methods used is the HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control) method. This methodology consists of 3 phases: hazard identification, risk assessment, and determination of controls based on the data collected. Hazard identification is carried out through interviews and observations of employees and owners of tofu factories, and risk assessment is carried out by analyzing the likelihood and severity of risk for each potential hazard. After determining the risk index for each potential hazard, the next step is to determine risk management measures. Based on the research results, there are 36 potential hazards of tofu production based on high, low, medium and extreme risks, high-risk jobs including harvesting soybeans, grinding soybeans, cooking tofu, and sifting. Risk controls that can be implemented to reduce risk include designing automatic sorting machines, separating the milling and cooking processes, and using personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure workers are safe and comfortable working, and installing them. Place warning signs in every corner of the hazardous production space to prevent unwanted things from happening.

Abstract

PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII is a business engaged in the production of black tea, commonly called "Orthodox tea" which is still constrained by problems with machine efficiency. Damaged components often occur in Withering Trough machines. This situation can affect delays in the production process in response to reduced production capacity. This research strategy uses the Mix Method approach, where qualitative methods can provide information from interviews and direct observation of machine conditions using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to determine the order of priority problems that arise, and the sequence of problems will be determined. Using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness technique, data on maintenance and failure of machines connected to manufacturing machines, quantitatively to determine machine performance. Research results show that the OEE value on a 61% engine is still below the Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance standard for 85% OEE. From the calculation of the Six Big Losses, the biggest average losses are 64% for defects in process and 78% for equipment failures. The RPN value with the highest failure rate is 150.144 with the factor that the engine components are not precise because there is no periodic maintenance carried out on the machine and the operator's lack of response to machine damage.

Abstract

Perusahaan Kerupuk Kulit Afifudin merupakan industri kecil yang terkena dampak pandemi Covid-19. Selama pandemi, wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Kabupaten Garut turun secara drastis, yang berakibat pada penjualan oleh-oleh seperti kerupuk kulit menjadi turun. Perusahaan terus berupaya membuat strategi dalam menghadapi hal tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  membantu perusahaan dalam membuat skenario perencanan produksi yang masih menguntungkan selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Perencanaan produksi dilaksanakan dengan dasar permintaan yang menurun dan kapasitas yang tetap. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah Linear Programming dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan yang maksimal dengan menggunakan sumber daya yang tersedia. Hasil dari penyelesaian dengan menggunakan metode tersebut, diperoleh jumlah produksi yang seharusnya dilakukan dengan sumber daya yang minimal sehingga sumber daya tidak berlebih. Sumber daya yang berlebih, diatur sedemikian rupa sehingga sumber daya yang digunakan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu dengan skenario pengaturan sumber daya jam kerja berdasarkan hari kerja, tenaga kerja serta kombinasi keduanya. Skenario pengaturan jam kerja yang terpilih yaitu dengan mengatur jam kerja pada setiap hari kerjanya.   Kata kunci: kerupuk kulit; perencanaan produksi; linier programming; jam kerja

Abstract

PD. Bhineka merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi makanan dodol. Permintaan dodol terus mengalami penurunan selama masa pandemic Covid-19. Akibatnya perusahaan harus menurunkan kapasitas produksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan scenario perencanaan produksi yang sesuai dengan kondisi pandemi. Metode yang digunakan adalah perencanaan produksi agregat yang terdiri dari agregasi, peramalan, perencanaan kapasitas dam perencanaan produksi. Hasil agregasi memperlihatkan penjualan memiliki pola yang relative konstan, sehingga peramalan menggunakan metoda konstan, Hasil perencanaan kapasitas perusahaan harus dikurangi untuk mengimbangi permintaan. Skenario perencanaan dibuat tiga yaitu scenario permintaan tetap, scenario permintaan turun dan scenario permintaan naik. Hasil perhitungan ongkos produksi memperlihatkan bahwa perusahaan perlu memilih skenario-skenario tersebut berdasarkan kepada kondisi yang perkembangan terakhir.

Abstract

Seiring dengan kemajuan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang ada pada masyarakat terhadap permintaan minyak kelapa sebagai minyak goreng terus meningkat. Karena sudah menjadi kebutuhan pokok namun kondisi saat ini minyak goreng sawit sedang krisis sehingga mengalami kelangkaan dan kenaikan harga yang tinggi di pasaran karena dampak dari pengeskporan minyak sawit ke luar negeri. selain banyak manfaat bahan minyak kelapa mudah didapat dan mudah di produksi rumahan. Oleh karena itu potensi ketersediaan bahan baku dan peluang pasar maka dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk pendirian usaha pembuatan minyak kelapa. Bahan baku minyak goreng kelapa yang mudah di dapatkan di kabupaten garut, sehingga menarik untuk membuat usaha, apalagi usaha ini juga memiliki prospek yang baik karena saat ini kelangkaan dan tingginya harga jual minyak sawit membuat masyarakat mencari minyak goreng dengan harga yang relatif murah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dibuatlah penelitian studi kelayakan pendirian usaha pembuatan minyak kelapa berbahan dasar kelapa untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha .Penelitian ini diperlukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari segi teknis dan finansial jika dilakukan pendirian usaha pembuatan minyak kelapa sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai peluang usaha agroindustri. Aspek teknis cara pembuatan minyak kelapa menggunakan metode tradisional terdapat dua teknik yaitu teknik fermentasi dan teknik penggunaan cuka, sehingga aspek teknis pembuatan minyak kelapa yang dipilih adalah teknik fermentasi karena hasil standar mutu sesuai. Dan dari hasil aspek finansial untuk penentuan layak atau tidaknya pendirian usaha minyak kelapa yaitu nilai rasio R/C yang didapat yaitu 1.06 > 1 maka usaha minyak kelapa ini dikatakan layak, dan untuk harga produk Rp 160.000 > Rp. 151.519 BEP Harga maka usaha minyak kelapa ini layak untuk dibangun. Sedangkan untuk jumlah produksi 510 unit > 483 dari nilai BEP Unit maka usaha minyak kelapa ini layak untuk dibangun. Dari nilai NVP pada nilai investasi maka didapatkan hasil nilai NVP sebesar Rp. 7.117.763 > 0 maka investasi layak untuk dilakukan. Dan dari nilai IRR yang didapat diketahui bahwa nilai IRR 22% > 20% dari tingkat bunga relevan, maka usaha minyak kelapa layak untuk dilanjutkan. Maka dapat disimpulkan dari hasil seluruh aspek finansial bahwa usaha minyak kelapa ini layak untuk dibangun.

Abstract

KN. COLLECTION is a factory that produces skullcaps, located at Kp. By the way, Samarang Garut. In production which involves human labor and the workplace environment, there are dangerous factors that can harm workers' health. One of them is dust in the workplace environment. while in room area 2 (Manual Knitting Machine) it is 150 AQI. The dust content value in these two areas has exceeded the threshold value of 60 AQI. Data collection was carried out using quantitative data collection techniques, namely sampling 30 data, then testing the data for normality using SPSS with the Kolgomorv Smirnov method, the results showed that the data was normally distributed. Based on the control analysis that has been carried out using the FMEA method to find the cause of the air pollution that occurred in the production work room of KN. COLLECTION. In the risk assessment process using FMEA, the assessment components are divided into 3 components, namely Occurrence, Risk Impact and Risk Detection. The research carried out has the aim of obtaining results (output) in the form of proposed improvements that can be implemented by the company to minimize air pollution that occurs in the company. Namely, with the proposal to add an Exhaust Fan from the inside out to regulate the release of dust from inside the room out of the room, to help ensure indoor air circulation remains clean, healthy and fresh. As well as the proposed filter on the machine that emits dust, a drainage channel for the dust is also created, in order to minimize the dust produced by the automatic knitting machine at KN. COLLECTION and creating a clean and comfortable work environment for production.

Abstract

Poor working posture can cause a number of problems in the workplace which can result in accidental losses for employees. One of the consequences that can arise from these activities is musculoskeletal complaints. The aim of this research is to determine the body positions used when working in the jelly making process which can cause injuries based on complaints from production operators. The research data used is the mix method and NBM questionnaire method, RULA and REBA methods to identify musculoskeletal complaints among operators to ascertain the level of body posture hazards and the EFD method to design ergonomic assistive devices. The results of the research obtained from the NBM questionnaire from 9 operators revealed that the most common complaint was pain in the left forearm, which was 11% of all complaints and 67% of them were very painful. The REBA method for mixing raw materials gets a level-2 action rating, while RULA for packaging activities gets a level-3 action rating. The highest level of activity in the packaging area is the basis for creating ergonomic tools.

Abstract

PD Intan Bestory is a company engaged in the production of traditional food, namely dodol, by upholding traditional production methods that have been passed down from generation to generation. Among the various stages involved in making dodol, the kneading process plays a key role. However, this process has the potential for serious health risks for workers in the long term. Repetitive actions and excessive use of force in this process often result in various health problems, such as injuries to the hands, arms, wrists, feet and shoulders, which must be addressed. The aim of this research is to design an ergonomic dodol mixer to increase operator comfort during the mixing process and reduce the risk of injury. The method used in designing this tool is Ergonomic Function Deployment (EFD), which starts with an in-depth understanding of the operator's needs for the new tool and continues with anthropometric analysis to determine appropriate dimensions. Next, design evaluation was carried out using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method to assess the operator's posture while using the designed tool. It is hoped that dodol entrepreneurs can provide education to employees in operating tools to maximize function in supporting the production process. Using this tool will not only increase work comfort for employees, but also has the potential to increase overall productivity in the long term.
