Abstract

School libraries play a crucial role in supporting the learning process and increasing students' reading interest, but in MI Muhammadiyah Paremono, library management is not optimal. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of library management training for teachers in improving knowledge, skills, and its impact on students' reading interest. Using a one group pre-test post-test research design, the subjects of the study consisted of 21 teachers who were given a Likert scale questionnaire before and after the training. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in pre-test and post-test scores for knowledge (from 3.2 to 4.5), skills (from 3.1 to 4.4), and perceptions of students' reading interest (from 3.0 to 4.2), with p < 0.01. This training successfully improved teachers' competence in library management, which had positive implications for students' reading interest. This study underlines the importance of library management training for teachers to improve students' learning experiences and encourage a reading culture in schools. These findings provide significant contributions to the development of teaching methods and library management, as well as opening up opportunities for further research on the factors that influence students' reading interest.

Abstract

Kewajiban keagamaan yang harus dipenuhi oleh seorang muslim yangsudah memasuki masa baligh (ditandai mengalami menstruasi bagiperempuan dan mimpi basah bagi laki-laki) merupakan indicatortinglat religiusitas. Data awal menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besarsiswa di sekolah amal usaha Muhammadiyah Kota Magelang, belummemahami tentang kewajiban keagaamaan saat memasuki usia balighdengan benar. PASHMINA (Pelayanan Remaja Sehat Milik NasyiatulAisyiah) merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dilaksanakan olehPimpinan Daerah Nasyiatul Aisyiah (PDNA) Kota Magelang yangbertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengatahuan dan pemahaman siswaterhadap kewajiban keagamaan, sekaligus memunculkan kesadaranyang berkaitan dengan kesehatan reproduksi dan langkah antisipasikekerasan seksual pada anak dan perempuan. Kegiatan ini akandilaksanakan di tujuh skolah di lingkungan amal usahaMuhammadiyah Kota Magelang, yaitu SD Muhammadiyah 1Alternatif, SD Muhammadiyah 2, MI Muhammadiyah, SMP Muhammadiyah,SMA Muhammadiyah 1, SMA Muhammadiyah 2 dan SMKMuhammadiyah. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory RuralApraisal (PRA). Hasil PASHMINA yang dilaksanakan di sekolahahmal usaha Muhammadiyah Kota Magelang telah dilakukan evaluasidan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa PASHMINA telah meningkatkanpengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa terhadap kewajiban keagamaanpada saat memasuki usia baligh.

Abstract

Kaderisasi merupakan hal yang sangat urgent bagi eksistemsi sebuah organisasi otonom Muhammadyah. Program ini dilatarbelakangi oleh data keorganisasian dan kaderisasi PDNA Kota Magelang yang masih belum sesuai dengan harapan (indikatornya adalah belum seimbangnya antara jumlah Cabang dan Ranting yang dimiliki oleh NA dibandingkan dengan Muhammadiyah maupun Aisyiah). Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan manajerial keorganisasian PDNA Kota Magelang dan meningkatkan kualitas remaja yang berdomisili di Cabang/ranting Muhammadiyah, sekaligus sarana kaderisasi bagi NA. Kegiatan PASHMINA yang telah dilaksanakan adalah pelatihan peningkatan movivasi dan manajemen organisasi bagi PDNA Kota Magelang, koordinasi dengan lembaga pengembangan cabang ranting Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah Kota Magelang dan Pelaksanaan PASHMINA bagi remaja outri di wilayah ranting Muhammadiyah/Aisyiah Magersari, Cabang Magelang Selatan. Hasil evaluasi terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa Pelatihan motivasi dan manajemen organisasi telah meningkatkan kembali ghirah semangat untuk mengembangkan Nasyiatul Aisyiah kota magelang dengan teknik manajemen organisasi yang lebih baik. Sementara itu koordinasi antara pelaksana, PDNA dan LPCR PDM juga telah membuka kesepahaman tentang urgensi keterlibatan PDM dalam perkembangan dan eksistensi kaderisasi Nasyiatul Aisyiah. Sedangkan pelaksanaan PASHMINA di Ranting magersari telah membuka langah awal pengenalan Nasyiatul Aisyiah, sehingga bias ditindaklanjuti dalam program PASHMINA selanjutnya.

Abstract

After being launched by the Ministry of Religion in 2019, the concept of religious moderation continues to gain public attention. It can be seen from the large amount of research regarding religious moderation which is embedded in many objects. This research took the material and curriculum objects of Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) which are taught in Muhammadiyah schools at the high school level. This research aims to determine the value of religious moderation in AIK textbooks. This study was qualitative research with a content analysis approach. The first step of this study was collecting journals, reference books related to religious moderation, and textbooks used for the teaching and learning process in Muhammadiyah schools. Following the first step, analysis was conducted to describe the concept inside the source books. The conclusion was made then. The findings showed that there were several important points in AIK textbooks that align with the spirit of moderation. These points were ukhuwah (brotherhood), non-violence, tolerance, and commitment to nationality.
