Abstract

The pandemic covid-19 engulfed the entire world and influenced all business especially in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise. This clarification leaves a business strategy issue that needs to be a question whether any changes or standstill. This study aims to analyze business strategy of a family business that sells typical food in a region namely sate Ayam Setono village Ponorogo. The using method is qualitative with case study exploratory approach by observation, interview and documentation. This study found that the business strategy has not changed much in this food family business during pandemic covid-19. The fear and anxiety that most people feel about sophistication of the government’s pandemic policy has an effect on the overall operation of the company, just digitization does not match seller’s capabilities while simultaneously attempting to preserve the qualities of this business. Attempts to change this strategy digitally have previously been made, but little has changed, so not every business impacted by covid-19 will adapt its business strategy online, because the Setono Ponorogo chicken satay company is one way of maintaining its features directly in society knowledge.

Abstract

**English**This research aims to explore the typology of Islamic Social Entrepreneurship (ISE) through its definition, principles and characteristics from the perspective of Maqashid Shariah. Maqashid Shariah, as the ultimate goal of Islamic law, provides a framework for developing an entrepreneurship model that focuses not only on economic gains but also social and moral benefits. ISE differs from conventional entrepreneurship as it emphasizes the balance between economic needs and social welfare based on Islamic teachings. The research method used is a qualitative method with theoretical analysis and empirical studies to define the ISE typology. The results show that the ISE typology includes the protection of religion through the establishment of Islamic educational institutions, Islamic media publishing, and Islamic study centers, the protection of the soul through the provision of Islamic health services, social and charitable institution programs, and community welfare programs, and the protection of wealth through Islamic banking and finance, waqf-based businesses, and Islamic social investment. Based on the results of the ISE typology, ISE can make a practical contribution by offering guidance for businesses and policy makers in developing ISE according to Islamic principles. Theoretically, the typology enriches the literature on ISE and Maqashid Shariah, providing a clearer framework for the classification and development of social entrepreneurship models that comply with Islamic values. This research emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach that combines theoretical analysis and empirical studies to define a typology of ISEs, as well as providing practical guidelines for implementation in the field.

Abstract

The Waqf Awareness Movement, launched by the International Center of Awqaf Studies, aims to enhance the understanding and participation of students and the Indonesian public in waqf practices. This study employs a literature review method, analyzing previous studies and academic literature related to the waqf awareness movement and its socio-economic impacts. By synthesizing various scholarly sources, this research explores how education, socialization, and access to information have contributed to increasing public awareness and participation in waqf. The findings indicate that waqf holds significant potential to improve community economic empowerment, strengthen social welfare, and promote solidarity. Furthermore, the literature review reveals that increased engagement in waqf extends beyond donations to include the management and utilization of waqf assets for community development. This study highlights the important role of educational and socialization initiatives in raising awareness of waqf's benefits, aiming to encourage greater public participation. The research emphasizes the need to strengthen these initiatives to maximize waqf's contribution as a tool for sustainable social and economic development. Through deeper understanding of waqf, the public is better prepared to regard it as an effective instrument for community advancement, reinforcing social values, and promoting solidarity.
