Abstract

ABSTRACTErosion on agricultural land decreased production of agriculture, and it will decline the incomes of farmers. The aims of the research is to predict erosion and Etol at each units of land at Krueng Simpo Sub watershed that is used as agricultural land. The method use in the research is survey method that consist three fase namely, preparation and ground check the map units of land to determine the units of observation, and predict erosion using USLE model. The result shows that use of cultural land at Krueng Simpo Sub watershed causes erosion on monoculture of agricultural land (90,92 tone/ha/year) has exceeded Etol (31,80 tone/ha/year). Therefore, improvement, changes in cropping patterns, and application of alternative agrotechnology to minimize predictive value erosion that will accur, and enhance the agricultural corservation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian tentang ?Jenis-Jenis Nyamuk Dan Dominansinya Pada Berbagai Kawasan Rawa di Desa Baet Kecamatan Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar? telah dilakukan pada tanggal 9 sampai dengan 18 Januari 2011. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi  jenis-jenis nyamuk dan dominansinya pada berbagai kawasan rawa di Desa Baet Kecamatan Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksplorasi. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara purposive sampling pada 3 kawasan rawa yang berbeda, yaitu rawa bersampah, rawa yang ditumbuhi oleh rumput obor (Typha aqustifolia), dan rawa bersih. Masing-masing rawa ditetapkan 6 titik pengamatan pada bagian pinggir rawa. Pengambilan data dilakukan pagi (08.00-12.00), siang (14.00-18.00), dan malam hari (19.00-24.00 dan 01.00-06.00) sebanyak 4 kali dalam sehari selama 6 hari. Parameter yang diamati adalah jenis nyamuk pada berbagai kawasan rawa di Desa Baet Kecamatan Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar dan parameter lingkungan (suhu dan pH). Hasil penelitian ditemukan 7 spesies nyamuk yang terdiri dari Aedes aegypti, Aedes albopictus, Armigeres subalbatus, Anopheles sundaicus, Culex sitiens, Culex quinquefasciatus, dan Mansonia annulata. Berdasarkan analisis indeks dominansi pada setiap rawa diketahui bahwa, Culex quinquefasciatus mendominansi pada rawa bersampah; Mansonia uniformis mendominansi pada rawa yang ditumbuhi oleh rumput obor (Typha aqustifolia); dan Culex quinquefasciatus mendominansi pada rawa bersih   Kata kunci : Jenis, Dominansi, Nyamuk, Kawasan, Rawa, Baet.

Abstract

Purna Bhakti Pertiwi Museum is a museum that was established as a manifestation of the gratitude of Soeharto and his family to God Almighty, as well as appreciation for the support given by the Indonesian people and abroad. The form of gratitude is depicted through the concept of symbolism applied to the museum area, one of which is through landscape elements. Symbolism is a concept of human thought that is realized through symbols. Collecting data in this study using the interview method and identifying the symbolism contained in the elements of the museum landscape using Symbolism in Javanese culture which is classified into Symbolism in Religion, Symbolism in Culture, and Symbolism in Science. Based on this research, it was revealed that the landscape element was used as a way for him to be grateful for the blessings and safety bestowed by the Creator, an effort to respect and preserve the culture of his ancestors as a Javanese person, and as a medium of education for the Indonesian people.

Abstract

The Botanic Park at Nava Park has an area of ​​10 hectares, consisting of green areas and open spaces for recreation and various uses, including 3.5 hectares of the artificial lake and a 15 km jogging track. However, a lack of green planning affects its attractiveness to visitors of the Botanic Park, and its existing visual potential has not been optimally utilized. This is apparent from the inexistence of outdoor activities facilities that could take advantage of this potential. The study aims to identify visual potential as the basis for developing the landscape of the Botanic Park. This study used a qualitative method with observation as the research instrument and a potential visual assessment using the Visual Resource Assessment Procedure (VRAP) and Master Plan Evaluation. Data analysis used interval classes, classified according to their visual qualities. The research findings were the visual quality of the landscape, classified into three zones of high, medium, and low visual qualities, which would help place facilities in further landscape development. The best macro visual qualities were found in the Meandering River Zone, with a score of 17, followed by the Serenity Lake Zone, with a score of 15. The lowest was in the Green Land/Wet Land Zone, with a score of 14. This study provided recommendations for managing the Botanic Park at Nava Park Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) in the form of a green landscape design as a visual attraction.

Abstract

Pekanbaru City Government Office is a central office area as the city's central image that accommodates all government facilities, facilities, and infrastructure. This area has natural and artificial potential for design development in the area. The situation in terms of the landscape in this area is the lack of assessment and utilization of the visual aesthetic potential of the landscape in the Pekanbaru City Government Office area. The purpose of this study is to determine the visual aesthetic potential of the site by utilizing and optimizing natural and artificial visuals. This study uses a modified Visual Resources Assessment Procedure (VRAP). The results showed that the increase in the visual aesthetic value of the Pekanbaru City Government Office landscape design by examining the visual aesthetic aspects of the landscape as the basis for developing landscape design.

Abstract

The city of Sabang is one of the national and foreign tourist destinations because of thebeauty of the natural panorama and the available infrastructure. Weh Island is also blessedwith agricultural resources so that it has the potential to be developed into an agro-tourismarea. The potential of agro-tourism in Sabang City has not been fully developed and utilizedoptimally. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze physical, biophysicalconditions including facilities, social, economic, and cultural as well as providerecommendations to be developed into agro-tourism. This research was conductedqualitatively and exploratory in nature, using a case study approach. Data collectiontechniques for inventorying physical, social data from sites and infrastructure usingobservation methods equipped with data recording instruments (cameras) to obtaininformation about agro-tourism. Descriptive data analysis and the analysis results obtainedrelated to agro-tourism potential were also analyzed using SWOT (Strenghts, Opportunities,Weaknesses and Threats) analysis. The results showed that Sukajaya District could bedeveloped into agro-tourism because it has the potential of various fruit orchards,horticultural gardens and vegetable gardens. It is necessary to provide educational tourismprograms, recreation, and economic tourism so that they are sustainable by taking intoaccount the ecological system, economic growth, and local socio-cultural.

Abstract

The increasing number of motorized vehicles in Jakarta is causing environmental damage and can harm human health. In recent years, the Jakarta local government has the vision to focus on improving the human mobility network, including the pedestrian networks. As a heavily trafficked road, Jalan Kyai Tapa, West Jakarta, is used by many people. However, it may feel uncomfortable to walk there due to heat and sun exposure, which is compounded by extensive pavement coverage. The thermal condition of the pedestrian corridor is essential to create a comfortable walking experience. The objective of this study was to analyze the thermal comfort of the pedestrian corridors at Jalan Kyai Tapa concerning the landscape composition, including vegetation structure and pavement. This study was conducted quantitatively. This study identified the vegetation structure, including the tree species, canopy diameter, and height. Then, we measured the air temperature and relative humidity at predetermined measurement points to evaluate thermal comfort using the Temperature Humidity Index (THI). The results showed that the air temperature ranges from 31.01°C to 31.54°C, and the relative humidity ranges from 56.19% to 57.74%. The average THI value is 28.52 °C, which falls into the comfortable category. Despite having relatively wide canopies and providing shade, the trees in this pedestrian corridor do not seem to improve the thermal environment enough to achieve comfortable conditions for pedestrians. Interestingly, the result shows that, at certain observation times, points without trees had lower air temperatures compared to other spots with trees. Trees may not be the most influential factor in improving pedestrian thermal comfort. Furthermore, the spots near trees with more expansive canopies can be less comfortable than spots near trees with smaller canopies. Tree species and the planting spacing determine the efficiency of trees to improve thermal comfort.

Abstract

AbstractPublic senior high school 65 Jakarta is a school guided by the DKI Jakarta provincial government in the Adiwiyata program at the national level. The school grounds are a means of supporting the achievement of a national level Adiwiyata school so that environmentally-friendly management is needed in order to create a national level Adiwiyata school. This service activity aims to improve the skills of teachers and students in using environmentally friendly land through fish farming. The method of implementing community service activities is held online (Google Meet) and outreach to teachers and students of SMA 65 Jakarta. The results of this community service show that the implementation of activities and counselling carried out with teachers and students of SMA 65 Jakarta is online. The steps to use yards during the pandemic for fish farming received a positive response and were very enthusiastic about the program of activities being implemented. The implementation of land use activities for fish farming can create a sustainable living environment in accordance with the Adiwiyata program.AbstrakSekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 65 Jakarta merupakan sekolah binaan pemerintah provinsi DKI Jakarta dalam program adiwiyata tingkat nasional. Lahan pekarangan sekolah adalah sarana pendukung tercapainya sekolah adiwiyata tingkat nasional sehingga diperlukan pengelolaan yang ramah lingkungan agar terwujudnya sekolah adiwiyata tingkat nasional. Adapun kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan guru dan siswa dalam pemanfaatan lahan ramah lingkungan melalui budidaya ikan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian diselenggarakan secara daring (Google Meet) dan penyuluhan bagi guru dan siswa SMA negeri 65 Jakarta. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan dan penyuluhan yang dilakukan bersama guru dan siswa SMA negeri 65 Jakarta secara daring. Langkah-langkah pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan selama pandemi untuk budidaya ikan mendapatkan respon positif dan sangat antusias terhadap program kegiatan yang dilaksanakan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pemanfaatan lahan untuk budidaya ikan ini dapat mewujudkan lingkungan hidup lestari sesuai dengan program Adiwiyata.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dengan tema Penyuluhan Desain Taman di SMK Negeri 63 Jakarta. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan tentang standar grafis dalam desain taman lanskap. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melalui metode ceramah dan praktik dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 63 Jakarta. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan memberikan ceramah dan praktik dasar-dasar cara desain taman. Sasaran kegiatan PKm diikuti oleh 15 peserta yaitu para guru mata ajaran pertamanan, ketua program studi pertamanan dan siswa-siswi SMK Negeri 63 Jakarta. Hasil luaran yang didapatkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman guru dan siswa-siswi prodi pertamanan SMK Negeri 63 tentang cara mendesain taman. Guru dan siswa mampu membaca gambar kerja dan mengaplikasikan gambar dalam pembangunan sebuah taman.
