Abstract

Students' lack of ability to answer questions that do not match the examples is the background for carrying out community service activities in addition to students' lack of motivation in learning. Students' fixation on examples causes students to have difficulty when given questions that are slightly different. There are several causes of students' difficulties in answering questions based on the results of analysis with the teacher, namely students' critical thinking abilities and students' numeracy literacy. These two abilities are the basis for students to solve problems using the information provided from the questions and concepts they have studied. This community service activity is carried out with the aim of providing stimulus to students to strengthen students' critical thinking and numeracy literacy skills. The stimulus is provided in the form of simple and non-routine questions using Pisa questions and questions related to third-dimensional material in the form of essays. Apart from that, it is also interspersed with math games to motivate students to learn.This activity was carried out at SMK Ma'arif NU Martapura.The results of the service show that there are five indicators of critical thinking skills and three indicators of numeracy literacy that are met. Apart from that, students also begin to have the courage to speak and show a positive attitude in learning. This can be a recommendation for teachers to provide more stimulus for non-routine questions so that students' critical thinking skills and numeracy literacy are further honed.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen religious character education at the Addinul Islam Al-Qur'an Education Park, which previously stopped operating since the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic which took place in early 2019 until 2022 and was reopened after the government began to establish a relaxation from the previous social life. This activity is carried out in the form of applying values which are the basis for religious cultivation, namely creating religious culture (religious character) which is vertical through activities to improve relationships with Allah SWT both in quality and quantity and which is horizontal, namely by creating good social relations. The final result of this activity is a form of support, provision and mentoring to optimize social, educational and religious activities as a way to strengthen students' awareness regarding the importance of religious character after the TPA is reopened. This is especially important for students because character education needs to be done from an early age as a basis for life skills which are very important for everyday life and in the future.

Abstract

Lectures conducted online still require students to be able to understand concepts with all existing limitations. The description of students' conceptual understanding carried out in this research uses Apos theory, namely action, process, object and scheme. The results of this research are expected to provide an overview or description of students' understanding of concepts based on APOS theory in derivative material. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The main instrument in this research is the researcher himself and the supporting instruments are test questions on derivative material and interview guidelines. The research subjects were students taking Mathematics courses from the Hospital Administration Study Program at STIKES Intan Martapura. The results of this research are that students who fulfill all APOS stages are in the high ability group of three people. None of the process and object stages were fulfilled by the low ability group. None of the scheme stages were fulfilled by the medium and low ability groups.

Abstract

Sebagian besar kebutuhan air masyarakat Desa Indraloka Jaya bergantung pada embung desa, namun kualitas airnya belum layak untuk dikonsumsi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diterapkan teknologi sederhana berupa filtrasi melalui program KKN sebagai bentuk pengabdian mahasiswa kepada masyarakat. Program ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif-kolaboratif yang melibatkan warga dan perangkat desa dalam tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil penggunaan alat filtrasi menunjukkan perubahan signifikan, di mana air yang semula keruh menjadi jernih dan tidak berbau. Nilai pH turun dari 8,93 menjadi 7,76, sedangkan TDS menurun dari 304 mg/L menjadi 48 mg/L. Hasil ini sesuai dengan standar kualitas air minum yang ditetapkan Permenkes No. 2 Tahun 2023 dan WHO, sehingga air hasil filtrasi layak dikonsumsi. Keberadaan teknologi filtrasi sederhana mendapat tanggapan positif dari pemerintah desa dan masyarakat sekitar, yang tidak hanya merasakan manfaat langsung berupa peningkatan kualitas air, tetapi juga memperoleh pemahaman baru mengenai pentingnya pemeliharaan serta penggunaan alat secara berkelanjutan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa intervensi teknologi tepat guna sederhana dapat memberikan dampak nyata bagi kesehatan, kenyamanan, dan pelayanan publik di pedesaan.

Abstract

Effective logistics management in the maintenance and storage of medical equipment plays an important role in ensuring patient safety and supporting service efficiency at community health centers (Puskesmas). However, several Puskesmas in Solok Regency still face challenges such as suboptimal logistics management, limited storage facilities, and inadequate monitoring and evaluation processes. These issues increase the risk of equipment damage, service disruption, and occupational safety hazards for both medical staff and patients. This community service program aimed to strengthen the logistics management capacity of Puskesmas through socialization and training on the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) principles and integrated logistics management. The methods included coordination with the Solok District Health Office, training for Puskesmas staff, mentoring in logistics recording, and the provision of educational media such as banners and leaflets. The results showed an improvement in participants’ understanding of logistics management and OHS principles, with more than 80% of participants able to apply proper storage systems and conduct periodic monitoring of medical equipment. In addition, internal coordination in the procurement and distribution of medical equipment at partner Puskesmas improved significantly. This program contributed to enhancing safety, availability, and the quality of health services at Puskesmas, and is expected to serve as an initial step toward developing a sustainable logistics management system in Solok Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Kampus Mengajar Program in improving the literacy and numeracy skills of students in an inclusive elementary school. The research subjects were fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Inklusi Banjang 2 (n = 11) who participated in learning assistance activities conducted by Kampus Mengajar student volunteers. The study employed a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest–posttest design. Data were collected through literacy and numeracy tests administered before and after the intervention. The normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed; therefore, comparative analysis was conducted using a paired sample t-test. The results revealed significant differences between pretest and posttest scores in both literacy (p < 0.001) and numeracy (p = 0.008). These findings indicate that the Kampus Mengajar Program is effective in enhancing students’ literacy and numeracy skills in the inclusive classroom setting.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai respons terhadap rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi sifat-sifat eksponen yang dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik materi yang bersifat abstrak serta belum optimalnya penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas media Exploration Ludo Smart Mathematics (ELSM) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Gambut pada materi sifat-sifat eksponen. Media ELSM mengintegrasikan permainan ludo, kartu soal, dan diskusi untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep secara terstruktur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Sebanyak 30 siswa kelas X-2 dipilih sebagai sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, N-Gain, dan Paired Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media ELSM dinyatakan sangat layak berdasarkan hasil validasi media (84%), materi (96%), dan instrumen tes (96%). Rata-rata hasil belajar meningkat dari 54,27 menjadi 80,53 dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,5616 (kategori sedang). Hasil Paired Sample t-Test menunjukkan nilai t hitung = 10,385 lebih besar daripada t tabel = 2,045 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (<0,05). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media ELSM efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sifat-sifat eksponen.

Abstract

This study explores ethnomathematical elements embedded in the architecture of four historic mosques in Banjarmasin City—Jami Sungai Jingah Mosque, Nurul Amilin Mosque, Sultan Suriansyah Mosque, and Tughfaturraghibin Mosque—and examines their potential contributions to secondary mathematics learning. A qualitative exploratory approach was employed, with data collected through visual observation, photographic documentation, and semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed iteratively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that key architectural features—such as column arrangements, roof forms, ornaments, and spatial organization—embody explicit mathematical ideas, including pattern regularity, plane and solid geometry, similarity, symmetry, and geometric transformations. Extending mosque-based ethnomathematics research beyond single-site descriptions, this cross-case exploration of historic mosques highlights recurring and distinctive geometric structures that can be leveraged for contextual learning. The study contributes a curriculum-oriented mapping of the identified elements to junior and senior secondary geometry topics, providing a basis for designing culturally grounded tasks and teaching materials.
