Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara yang berbhineka tunggal ika sesungguhnya kaya akan budaya dan keseniantradisional di tiap-tiap daerah. Keanekaragaman seni budaya tersebut dapat dilihat dari aspek bahasa, kesenian,dan adat istiadat. Namun ironisnya, generasi muda sebagai penerus budaya tidak begitu banyak yang berminatmelestarikan maupun sekedar mempelajari seni budaya lokal. Bangsa Indonesia, masyarakat Jawa khususnyatidak menyadari bahwa banyak budaya dan kesenian modern terutama yang berasal dari negara asing sangatberpengaruh bagi pola pikir generasi muda. Persoalan ini sangat berkaitan dengan kondisi bangsa Indonesiayang belum juga lepas dari krisis sejak tahun 1997. Generasi muda sebagai penerus pembangunan hendaknyamemiliki rasa bangga dan jiwa kepahlawanan dalam menyikapi suatu masalah. Sikap tersebut dapat dimulaidengan rasa bangga dan mencintai seni budaya. Melalui seni seseorang belajar peka terhadap lingkungannya.Hingga sekarang ini, bangsa Indonesia telah mengalami krisis multidimensi. Berawal dari krisis moneter(ekonomi), krisis politik hingga krisis moral yang semakin menjadikan bangsa Indonesia terpuruk. Persoalantersebutlah yang melatarbelakangi munculnya gagasan penelitian tentang peran lirik lagu dolanan sebagaisalah satu dari seni sastra tradisional di Jawa Tengah dalam mewujudkan semangat persatuan dankebangsaan. Alasan lain karena hingga saat ini lagu dolanan cenderung dianggap sebagai lagu permainansemata. Melalui pendekatan hermeneutik fenomenologi penelitian ini mencoba mengungkap simbol dan maknadalam lirik lagu-lagu dolanan di Jawa Tengah. Simbol dan makna lirik lagu dolanan tersirat dalam pendidikanketuhanan, budi pekerti, dan kehidupan berbangsa dan bertanah air. Implementasi simbol dan maknakebangsaan lagu dolanan dalam pendidikan formal (sekolah) dapat dilakukan melalui pengajaran apresiasisastra pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Jawa. Di dalam pendidikan non formal (keluarga, masyarakat: komunitasseni, sanggar seni, seniman) bentuk implementasi yang ditempuh sebagai upaya sosialisasi, dilakukan denganmengaplikasikan lagu-lagu dolanan baik bagi anak-anak maupun orang dewasa. Sehingga lagu dolanan bukanlagi dianggap lagu dolanan anak semata, tetapi merupakan seni sastra tradisi milik seluruh masyarakat.Kerjasama yang harmonis antara orang tua, lingkungan, lembaga terkait, dan pemerintah akan berandil amatbesar bagi kelestarian seni budaya daerah yang merupakan sumber aset budaya nasional.Kata-kata kunci : Simbol dan makna, lirik lagu dolanan, pendidikan formal dan non formal

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui unsur-unsur drama Sadumuk Bathuk Sanyari Bumi berdasarkan teori struktural. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa unsur-unsur yang ada dalam teks drama. Adapun sumber data penelitian ini adalah naskah drama berjudul Sadumuk Bathuk Sanyari Bumi karya Arih Numboro. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) untuk memperkuat eksistensi dan mendekatkan drama Jawa kepada generasi muda, baik drama tradisional (kentrung, ketoprak dsb) maupun drama modern (teater dan film) diperlukan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, 2) teori struktural dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif cara untuk mengkaji atau menganalisis unsur-unsur yang ada dalam sebuah naskah drama, 3) unsur-unsur yang terdapat dalam naskah drama Sadumuk Bathuk Sanyari Bumi berdasarkan analisis struktural meliputi: tema, dialog, latar dan setting, tokoh, penokohan, alur atau plot, dan amanat. This research aimed to find out elements of Sadumuk Bathuk Sanyari Bumi drama based on structural theory. It used qualitative descriptive analysis method. Its data were the elements in drama script. Its data source was drama script of Arih Numboros Sadumuk Bathuk Sanyari Bumi. Result of this research were 1) to strengthen the existence of and to approach Javanese drama to young generation, either traditional drama (kentrung, ketoprak, etc.) or modern drama (theatre and film), it needed support from many others; 2) structural theory could be an alternative way to study or analyse the drama elements; 3) the elements contained in this drama which were based on structural analysis were theme, dialogue, space and time setting, character, characterization, plot, and authors message

Abstract

The objectives of this pitutur luhur comic strip study development are (1) to analyze the needs of students and teachers towards mituhu learning media (pitutur luhur comics), (2) to describe prototypes of mituhu learning media (pitutur luhur comics), and (3) to describe the results of expert validation regarding mituhu learning media prototypes (pitutur luhur comics). The design of this research is research and development. The procedures of this study include (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, and (5) design revisions. The results of the study are (1) teachers and students of SMP N 22 Semarang need learning media to write dialogue in the form of pitutur luhur comics, (2) pitutur luhur comics consist of three stories namely Becik Ketitik Ala Ketara, Sapa Jujur Bakal Makmur, and Aja Dumeh, (3) the results of the material expert validation got an average value of 3.2 from a maximum value of 4 which means this comic according to the basic competencies to be achieved, the results of the media expert validation got an average value of 3.6 from a maximum value of 4 design meaningful in accordance with the rules of comic development.

Abstract

The process of reviewing the manuscript in detail and depth will result in a correct understanding and in accordance with the interpretation between the author, cultivator, and actor. The aim of this research article is to describe the form of linguistic aspects contained in Javanese drama scripts by authors across generations and to describe aspects of the authorship background contained in Javanese drama manuscripts by authors across generations. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion on six Javanese drama scripts (Lelakon, Tuk, Dom, Tengara, Sumilir Angin Nang Brug Belis, and Mak Ana Asu Mlebu Ngomah) the works of these cross-generational authors who have the same or similar intrinsic elements even though each manuscript has its own characteristics and uniqueness.

Abstract

This research analyzes the concept of love in the anthology of the cerkak of “Rembulan Bali Ndadari” by Harwimuka using Robert J. Sternberg’s theory of love psychology. This theory explains that love consists of three main components: intimacy, passion, and decision or commitment, which can result in different types of love. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques. The research data is in the form of texts from nine stories in the anthology selected purposively based on their relationship with the theme of love. The analysis results show that the characters in the cerkak of “Rembulan Bali Ndadari” represent a combination of three components of love that produce four types of love. The four types of love include pleasure, brotherly, romantic, and perfect love. This finding illustrates the dynamics of the relationship between characters based on Sternberg’s theory of love. This research contributes to understanding the concept of love in literary works through a psychological approach, especially the psychology of love.

Abstract

This research aims to apply Simone de Beauvoir’s existentialist feminism in revealing the forms of gender injustice and transcendence strategies on female characters in the Mendhung Angendanu novel by Budiono Santoso Setradjaja. The descriptive qualitative method, which uses data collection techniques through reading and recording, is an important part of this research. The data analyzed are words, sentences, or paragraphs that show gender injustice and transcendence strategies applied by female characters. Data sources consist of primary and secondary data. The primary data source is the novel Mendhung Angendanu by Budiono Santoso Setradjaja, which consists of 303 pages and was published in 2022 in Sleman, Yogyakarta. Secondary data sources come from articles and books relevant to the research problem. The findings show that in the novel, female characters experience gender injustice in the form of subordination, marginalization, violence, and workload. In addition, it was found that the transcendence strategies carried out by female characters include working women, intellectual women, women who contribute to social transformation, and women who refuse to internalize the values of injustice.

Abstract

Currently, the Javanese language lesson is considered difficult due to the many terms such as language varieties, causing students to feel apprehensive before the lesson. This serves as the basis for this classroom action research, which aims to enhance students' learning motivation in the Javanese language subject by applying the Teams Games Tournament learning method. (TGT). This classroom action research consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research collected data from 22 students in class VII E at SMPN 24 Semarang. The data collection technique for this research uses a student learning motivation observation sheet. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique for this research utilized Excel to process the learning motivation questionnaire data. The research results show an increase in students' learning motivation by 35%, from 55% in cycle I, categorized as having sufficient improvement, to 90% in cycle II, categorized as very good. Thus, the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning method assisted by Uno Stacko in increasing motivation to learn Javanese is considered effective and successful. The implication of this research is that after participating in Javanese language learning on the Ramayana puppet story material using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) method assisted by uno stacko, the students became more active and enthusiastic in their learning.
