Abstract

Tapis is a traditional Indonesian woven which is produced by using a non-machine weaving loom. Tapis is an ornamental motif-based manifestation, especially for the people of Pesisir Barat's local history and beliefs. The issues that occur with Tapis weaving craftsmen are production infrastructure, minimal market availability, a lack of knowledge, and their skills for product innovation. The people of Pesisir Barat require empowerment and support to develop the knowledge and abilities of Tapis weaving craftsmen in the production of tapis derivative products. These items will support the Pesisir Barat's tourism industry succeed. This community service activity was carried out by holding coaching for the Kerudung Sakti and Kiluk Andan Tapis Crafts Group in Way Sindi Village, Karya Penggawa, Pesisir Barat district. This training is expected to improve the community's knowledge and skills in developing various souvenir products and craft accessories made from Tapis derivative products.

Abstract

Current dynamics of world energy supply have driven various innovations by the industry as well as research communities. Fossil fuels, although experiencing a declining interest due to sustainability issues, remain undeniably crucial since they are nearly irreplaceable in some sectors including electricity generation, it is necessary to continuously establish efforts to improve efficiency of those kinds of fuel. In this work, the authors evaluate the potential of locally sourced essential oils, namely citronella, as a fuel additive in a vision of raising the fuel economy of gasoline RON 90. Citronella oil was selected based on a positive hypothesis deduced from its chemical properties, as mentioned in multiple published works. Tests were made on a generator-set powered by gasoline engine using the mixture of RON 90 and citronella oil of various concentrations as the fuels. In addition, a commercial synthetic additive was also tested alongside the essential oil to provide a comparative figure. Meanwhile other investigators suggest a favorable effect of essential oils, our results show that citronella oil additions lead to higher fuel consumption at the same power level. A similar negative effect was also demonstrated by the synthetic additive. The only sector showing positive results is in terms of exhaust temperature where experiments with citronella additives create lower exhaust temperature as compared to pure gasoline and synthetic additives. However, rooms for innovation remain open by exploring other variables such as higher additive concentrations or combining different kinds of essential oils.

Abstract

One of the most common problems in agriculture today is the decline in soil fertility on agricultural land due to the excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticide residues and processing of land with agricultural machinery. This study was to determine the level of motivation for using PGPR in lowland rice cultivation, what factors influence the level of motivation, as well as developing a strategy for applying motivation using PGPR in lowland rice cultivation. This research was conducted from April to June in Sekayu District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The method used is descriptive method and multiple linear regression. Respondents were taken as many as 97 people who were determined purposively (purposive sampling). The results show that the level of motivation is included in the high category. Factors that have a significant effect on farmer motivation are the age of the farmer, the role of extension workers, the availability of facilities and infrastructure, the availability of agricultural information. Based on the multiple linear regression analysis test, it was found that the most critical indicator of farmer motivation was the availability of facilities and infrastructure. From these results an agricultural extension strategy was providing counseling on making PGPR independently in farmer groups.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi menjadi solusi saat perkembangan jaman terus meningkat dan berkembang. Tidak terkecuali keterkaitan teknologi untuk bidang keamanan negara. Metode yang mendukung klaterisasi adalah ekstraksi ciri menggunakan Gray Level Co-occurence Matrix (GLCM) yang dilakukan sebelum proses klaterisasi itu sendiri. GLCM sangat cocok digunakan untuk melakukan ekstraksi fitur atau ciri-ciri pada citra yang memiliki pola-pola khusus seperti penelitian pengenalan pola wayang. Prosedur penelitian ini merupakan alur dari flowchat untuk membangun sistem informasi untuk uji forensik proses klasterisasi proyektil amunisi senjata api menggunakan algoritma Gray Level Co-occurrene Matrices (GLCM) dan K-Means clustering. Pada Gambar 3.1 berikut merupakan kerangka sistem informasi sebagai penjelas setiap alur input, proses dan output diilustrasikan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode GLCM sebagai ekstraksi fitur dari image grayscale dan metode K-Means untuk clustering memberikan hasil dan akurasi yang cukup baik. Performa model mencapai 71.14% meski dengan keterbatasan data yang dimiliki. Model tersebut dapat digunakan tidak hanya pada aplikasi console seperti Google Collabs, tetapi juga dapat digunakan pada aplikasi yang memiliki GUI dengan performa aplikasi yang cukup stabil.

Abstract

Abu Sayyaf is a terrorist group that has the potential to threaten stability and security in the Southeast Asia region. Abu Sayyaf's terrorist actions have entered the territory of neighboring countries of the Philippines. Handling it has become more comprehensive and needs to involve other countries, both bilaterally and regionally. Southeast Asian waters are declared as areas prone to crime so that cooperation and security issues in the military, political, and law enforcement fields between ASEAN members need to be improved. Terrorist actions carried out by the insurgent groups Abu Sayyaf and the Maute Clan have been involved with the terrorist organization IS (Islamic State). The convergence of insurgency and terrorism requires counterinsurgency and counterterrorism strategies. This paper will discuss the insurgency and terrorism of the Abu Sayyaf group from a securitization perspective. The theories used are the Copenhagen school and securitization. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through literature studies.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terdapat pada Toko Sepeda Formula Bike adalah proses pembelian dan transaksi penjualan masih manual dengan menggunakan buku besar dalam setiap pencatatan nya, sehingga sering terjadi kesalahankesalahan yang akan menyebabkan kerugian bagi Toko Sepeda Formula Bike dan pembuatan laporan kepada pemilik toko masih membutuhkan banyak waktu sehingga tidak efisien. Tujuan merancang suatu sistem informasi pembelian dan penjualan ini dengan tujuan untuk mempercepat proses pengolahan data-data yang ada di Toko, kemudian mempermudah dalam pencarian data serta pembuatan laporan yang dibutuhkan oleh pemilik Toko. Perangkat aplikasi yang telah dibuat dengan bahasa pemrograman Java NetBeans 8.0.2 dan penyimpanan data pada database MySQL dapat memberikan kelancaran dalam proses menginput dan penyimpanan data-data serta laporan-laporan yang diberikan kepada pemilik toko. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada di Toko Sepeda Formula Bike. Hasil dari penelitian ini menciptakan suatu sistem informasi pembelian dan penjualan dapat memudahkan pihak toko dalam proses pendataan data barang, data pembelian barang, data penjualan serta data return pembelian yang lebih baik dan akurat.Kata Kunci: Aplikasi, Penjualan, Desktop
