Abstract

Small industry has an important role in absorbing labor, distributing income, and improving community welfare. The problem in this research is how the strategy of developing small palm sugar industry in Basidondo District, Tolitoli Regency. The aim to be achieved in this research is to know the development strategy of small palm sugar industry in Basidondo District, Tolitoli Regency. The population in this study were 107 business units. Sampling in this study using accidental sampling method with a selected sample of 30 respondents. Data analysis was performed using SWOT matrix analysis. The conclusion obtained is based on the SWOT matrix analysis, the strategy that can be done to empower the small palm sugar industry in Basidondo District, Tolitoli Regency is a concentration strategy through horizontal integration. This means that the strategy to be implemented is more defensive, namely avoiding lost sales and lost profits caused by threats. The advice given is to maintain the characteristic taste of the product and improve product quality by creating innovations in product packaging, adding types of products to have high attractiveness in order to remain able to compete with other product.

Abstract

Village development aims to improve the welfare of the village community and the quality of human life as well as poverty alleviation through basic fulfillment, development of village facilities and infrastructure, development of local economic potential, and sustainable use of natural resources and the environment. Tang Village, Bokat District, Buol Regency as one of the government units under the government is required to compile a development planning document, namely the Village Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJM Desa) and the Village Annual Development Plan or the so-called Village Government Work Plan (RKP Desa) for village development. Considering this is a responsibility, it must be carried out by the Tang Village Government. The involvement or participation of the community is an absolute requirement in the process of preparing the Village Government work plan (RKP Desa). This involvement is intended so that the community can make a positive contribution to village development planning. The research aims to be analyzed to determine the planning-based village development in Tang Village, Bokat District, Buol Regency. This type of research uses a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach so that the case studies obtained in this study can be compared with the experiences of other researchers. The research method used is the descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach using a frequency table and then interpreted based on categories according to the data obtained in the field (primary data) which is then descriptively measured using a Likert Scale. The conclusion in this study is that planning-based village development in Tang Village, Bokat District, Buol Regency reaches the Very Good category.

Abstract

Tourist Attractions in Regency There are quite a lot of tourist attractions in Buol Regency, but until now the arrangement or management has not been overall for natural tourism objects in Buol Regency, one of which is the Kumaligon Baths. . Kumaligon Baths is an area located in Kumaligon Village, Biau District, Buol Regency which is famous for its clear, cool water and hilly areas that are so beautiful to look at, and access to a location that is so close to the center of Buol city, especially in the Biau sub-district. . The purpose of our research is to identify and describe the perception of tourists regarding the quality of tourist attraction at the baths in Kumaligon Village, Biau District, Buol Regency. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In this study, data collection was carried out using 3 methods, namely Observation, Interview, and Documentation. The data sources used in this study consisted of two kinds, namely primary data and secondary data. This research is to describe and describe the results of research into complete, systematic sentences and carry out discussions to obtain an understanding so that conclusions can be drawn. Based on the results of the research conducted, the author concludes that from the perception of the manager, namely the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office, the Head of the Kumaligon Village Government and the person in charge of the area, as well as tourists and visitors state the need for special attention to aspects of attractions which include natural tourist attractions and artificial tourist attractions. , Accessibility indicators include access roads and tourist information, and Facilities indicators that include services, security, food stalls, and lodging in Kumaligon baths
