Abstract

The Permata Indah Women Farmers Group in Selur Village was established in 2011 with the aim of empowering housewives and boosting the family economy. Activities at the Women's Farmer Group (KTW) are in the form of processing plantation products in the form of bananas into processed foods such as chips and banana sale. Since the Covid-19 pandemic began to spread in the Ponorogo Regency area, the level of sales has also decreased because the sales system still does not use social media. As a result, production activities are also stopped to avoid losses. But now, after almost 2 years of production stopping and the pandemic starting to improve, the enthusiasm of the mothers has decreased. Therefore, we have the initiative to hold a training which was attended by 20 participants with the theme of digital marketing to provide new business innovations through digital platforms. The purpose of this training is to provide knowledge about digital marketing based on social media and increase sales of women's farmer groups' products. This activity uses an asset-based community-development (ABCD) approach to optimize existing assets and potential. The end result of this activity is that the trainees can create and operate social media accounts in the form of WhatsApp Business and Instagram Business. Thus, it is hoped that it can improve the economy for the Permata Indah Women Farmer Group in Selur Village. The trainees also felt satisfied and more motivated to restart production that had stopped.

Abstract

Market mechanism is the most important thing in determining the price level in the market. This research aims to see how the market mechanism relevance according to Abu Yusuf with modern market mechanisms. The research method used is a qualitative research methodology with a library research approach. The results showed that there is a relevance of Abu Yusuf's Islamic economic thought with modern economics. This means that there are similarities between the concept of the market mechanism according to Abu Yusuf and the modern market mechanism. Abu Yusuf opposes government intervention in setting prices. The government acts as a regulator / referee in the market mechanism. This means that the government has the duty to ensure that prices in effect in the market are fair prices, which are obtained from natural market mechanisms (based on levels of demand and supply), not monopoly or market engineering. However, the government may intervene in price when there is a monopoly or market distortion.

Abstract

Murabahah financing is the most preferred financing option among customers due to its low risk and its versatility for working capital, consumption, or investment purposes. However, there is a phenomenon observed in BTPN Shariah where the increase in Murabahah financing is not accompanied by a rise in profits. Furthermore, the lack of profit increase is suspected to be due to the low Financing to Debt Ratio (FDR). This research aims to understand how Murabahah financing and FDR influence the profitability of Islamic banks, with Non-Performing Financing (NPF) acting as a moderator. The research sample includes quarterly reports from BTPN Shariah for the period 2015-2022, using purposive sampling techniques. The study utilizes SPSS 25 for analysis, including multiple linear regression, and Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA). The test results indicate that Murabahah financing, when considered individually, has an impact on profitability, whereas the Financing to Debt Ratio does not affect profitability. When both Murabahah financing and FDR are considered together, they collectively influence profitability with a percentage of 71.2% before moderation by NPF. The MRA results suggest that Non-Performing Financing is unable to moderate the impact of the two independent variables, namely Murabahah financing and FDR, on profitability.

Abstract

Covid-19 has a significant impact on the economy, including the Islamic financial industry in Indonesia. So, research on the performance of Islamic banks, including the performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia is very interesting to study. This study aims to determine the level of performance of BPRS in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019-2021, based on OJK Circular Letter; SEOJK number 28/SEOJK.03/2019. This study uses qualitative descriptive methodology. The results of the study show that the average CAR ratio of BPRS in 2019-2021 is 23.46 percent, which indicates that BPRS is very healthy. The average NPF ratio of BPRS in 2019-2021 is 7.08 percent, which indicates that BPRS is healthy. And the average ROA ratio of BPRS in 2019-2021 is 2.11 percent, which indicates that BPRS is very healthy. Based on the above research results, the performance of BPRS in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic was exceptional. This means that BPRS in Indonesia can continue to operate intact even under sluggish economic conditions. This shows that the performance of BPRS in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic is in the healthy and stable category. This emphasizes that Islamic banks are resilient in the face of an economic crisis. Therefore, it is expected that bank management should always improve the performance of BPRS by paying attention to the capital aspect, asset quality aspect, income aspect, and liquidity aspect.

Abstract

As financial intermediary institutions, banks have a strategic role in driving the economy, so bank performance must be appropriately maintained. This study aims to analyze the effect of third-party funds and working capital financing of Islamic commercial banks on the performance of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative by conducting multiple linear regression tests. The data type used is secondary data from 2015 to 2022, with a sample of 13 Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. The data was obtained from BI and OJK reports published on https//www.ojk.go.id. The study results indicate that Third Party Funds do not affect Indonesia's ROA of Islamic commercial banks. Working capital financing significantly affects the ROA of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. And if together, third-party funds and working capital financing significantly affect the ROA of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. Third-party funds do not affect the ROA of Islamic general banks because the operational costs (BOPO) borne by Islamic general banks are included in the very high category. Therefore, to increase ROA, banks must apply the principle of prudence and valid calculations in carrying out banking operations and financing.
