Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penggunaan aplikasi Glideapp sebagai multimedia pembelajaran pada materi demokrasi mata kuliah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, kepustakaan dan survei. Data penelitian dianalisis secara kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa fakultas MIPA angkatan 2021 kelas A & B, Universitas Sriwijaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan aplikasi Glideapp sebagai multimedia berbasis web lebih efektif, menarik, dan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa mengenai materi demokrasi.

Abstract

ABSTRAKLiterasi digital di era saat ini tidak sekedar memahami baca tulis angka, lebih dari itu literasi digital ialah kemampuan mencari, mengolah dan memutuskan semua informasi yang diperoleh dari internet secara bijak dan produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kemampuan literasi digital mahasiswa prodi PPKn FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dengan survei. Responden penelitian ialah 315 mahasiswa FKIP PPKn yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah tugas akhir/Skripsi. Hasil di peroleh bahwa literasi digital dalam aspek keterampilan fungsional, komunikasi efektif, kreativitas, berpikir kritis, pemahaman konteks sosial budaya, kemampuan menemukan dan memilih informasi, Keamanan elektronik dan kolaborasi dikategorikan sedang karena berada di antara interval 2,6-3,4. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya upaya sinergi bersama antara perguruan tinggi dan mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan literasi digital. Beberapa upaya tersebut meliputi 1) pemahaman literasi digital; 2) pemerataan jaringan internet; 3) pihak kampus melaksanakan kegiatan berbasis literasi; 4) penguatan budaya menulis; dan 5) memfasilitasi beberapa mata kuliah yang berkaitan erat dengan literasi digital. 6) meningkatkan keterampilan yang mendukung  ABSTRACTDigital literacy in the current era is not just understanding reading and writing numbers, more than that digital literacy is the ability to search, process and decide all information obtained from the internet wisely and productively. This study aims to see the digital literacy skills of Civics study program students at FKIP Sriwijaya University. The research method used a questionnaire with a survey. The research respondents were 315 Civics students who were taking final project / thesis courses. The results showed that digital literacy in the aspects of functional skills, effective communication, creativity, critical thinking, understanding the socio-cultural context, the ability to find and select information, electronic security and collaboration were categorized as moderate because they were between the intervals of 2.6-3.4. Therefore, there needs to be a joint synergy effort between universities and students in improving digital literacy. Some of these efforts include 1) understanding digital literacy; 2) equal distribution of internet networks; 3) the campus carries out literacy-based activities; 4) strengthening the culture of writing; and 5) facilitating several courses that are closely related to digital literacy. 6) Improve supporting skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of Instagram social media as a learning medium in civic education courses and to describe the factors that support and hinder the use of Instagram social media as learning media in citizenship education courses. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and interviews. Selection of informants based on purposive, namely the selection based on the purpose of this study. The research was carried out in a class of students of the Management Department of Sriwijaya University on the subject of democracy. The results of the research that have been carried out show that lectures through Instagram are very interesting and fun, students become more active because students feel more free to express their opinions so that almost all of them share their opinions in lectures. Distance learning using the internet network and several tools that must be owned by every educator and student there are supporting and inhibiting factors in the lecture process. Supporting factors include: a) The learning process becomes more relaxed. b) The available features vary, c) The learning materials are interesting, d) Easy to reach. In addition to the supporting factors, there are also inhibiting factors in the use of Instagram social media as a learning medium. The inhibiting factors for the use of social media as a distance learning medium are: a) unstable network, b) inadequate gadgets and c) explanations of material that are difficult to understand and d) some students do not use Instagram usernames using real names so it is difficult to recognize student name.

Abstract

This study aims to design learning through textbooks based on case methods and team-based projects in Human Rights courses. The research method used Design design-based research, with data collection techniques such as questionnaires and documentation. The sample in this study was 23 students from the civic education study program, at Sriwijaya University. This study analyzed data using quantitative descriptive methods. The results of the study obtained that 1) the problem analysis phase obtained the results that the results of the analysis of needs and materials showed that learning based on case methods and project-based teams was still not well facilitated; 2) the development phase, a prototype of a textbook was obtained which contained efforts for case method and project-based team learning with assignments in each Course Learning Achievement that analyzed cases and group projects to complete assignments; 3) the trial phase was carried out and input was obtained before being used on a large scale; 4) the reflection phase obtained the results that at this stage the lecturer still had to have a role and competence so that learning could be by the objectives of presenting textbooks based on case methods and project-based teams. The implications of this research have an impact on the ability of lecturers to design learning that improves critical thinking skills in solving problems and realizing the results of thinking into real learning activities.
