Abstract

It is undeniable that it has had a negative impact on people's lives, both in terms of health, as well as political, economic, social, and so on. This made the government then issue several handling policies, including Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities, implementation of health protocols, including various rules in the order of religious life, one of which is an appeal to carry out worship at home. So that people can immediately know and comply with these rules, of course, we need an appropriate communication strategy by paying attention to the role of an opinion leader. Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi Province, which is the location of this research, is an area that has regulations on religion. Therefore, a religious figure can be said to be an opinion leader who has a strategic position, especially in communicating government policies related to Covid 19 on religious issues. This is in line with the two-step model of communication flow, both in the pattern of face-to-face communication and mass communication, which introduced the concept of an opinion leader. This research method is descriptive and qualitative with the aim of providing an overview of the role of religious leaders in public communication. Through the interview process with the Chairperson of the Indonesian Ulema Council and the Young Dai of Bulukumba Regency, it is known that public communication carried out by religious leaders is delivered through direct da'wah or using digital media. Furthermore, of course, the results of this research are expected to be an input for the government, in considering and determining opinion leaders in public communication on other issues.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengedintifikasi kluster yang terbentuk dalam jaringan twiter terkait dengan topik-topik vaksin covis-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis jaringan sosial dengan metode kluster terpaan selektif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah penggunan jaringan sosial twiter dengan kata kunci “vaksin covid-19’ sebagai sampel kluster. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan aplikasi NodeXL. Data dianalisis dengan cara pengelompokan berdasarkan kluster algoritma Clauset-Newman-Moore dengan cara menghitung seluruh jaringan pengguna, tingkat hub dalam kluster, pengelompokan dalam jaringan, menetukan jaringan twiter tertinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akun-akun resmi pemerintah, tokoh politik, dan media massa secara bersamaan muncul pada seluruh kumpulan data sehingga mereka membentuk kluster secara konsisten mendukung keberhasilan program vaksinasi nasional.

Abstract

Public Relations has an important role in educating and providing understanding to the public in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic as it is now. In this case, Public Relations acts as an intermediary between the government and the community by conveying policies related to the government's efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This study aims to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of PR strategies in delivering information on COVID-19 using social media, such as: websites, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Then the withdrawal of research informants using purposive sampling technique, informants consist of people who are directly involved with the delivery of information on covid-19 by Public Relations, with qualitative data collection consisting of depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that there are several advantages, namely (1) wide reach and large number of followers, (2) fast information updates, and (3) presenting informative and educative content. The shortcoming in question is that the management of social media is not yet maximal, which is less interactive in responding to public comments through comments on social media. The limitation of this study is that researchers only focus on the PR strategy in delivering information about COVID-19 in Gorontalo Province through social media only and not at the level of other conventional media, namely through websites, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The value and originality of this research is the delivery of information and efforts to prevent the spread of covid-19 which is conveyed through social media PR. The contribution of this research to future PR practices is a deeper implementation of the concept of digital PR, especially during a pandemic like now where everything is done online.

Abstract

Pancana is a village located in Tanete Rilau District, Barru Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Pancana Village is located on the beach facing the Makassar Strait and has 3 hamlets, namely Cenrapole, Kaworo and Pancana Hamlets. Pancana Village has a population of 3755 with details of Cenrapole Hamlet as many as 1107, Kaworo as many as 1190 and Pancana as many as 1458. There are two tours in Pancana village, namely Fishing Tours and Awu-Awu Beach. One component of Smart Village is Smart Governance which is defined as the ability of the government to make good decisions through the support of information technology and governance. The Smart Governance component consists of public services, village information systems and village fund management. The activities carried out include the village information system, where the village information system is part of the implementation of e-government. Therefore, as a KKN student, the author wants to carry out an activity entitled Mapping in Pancana Village Based on QR Code where administrative maps and tourist point maps will be integrated with the QR Code so that they are directly connected to google maps and the village website. Map making using Arcgis software. With this activity, it is expected to be able to realize Pancana Village which is Smart Governance by highlighting the technology side so that it can make it easier for anyone who wants to access information about Pancana Village.

Abstract

Strategi Komunikasi Pendamping dalam Implementasi Graduasi Mandiri Keluarga Penerima Manfaat Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) Dikecamatan Minasate’ne Pangkep Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi yang di gunakan oleh pendamping dalam implementasi Keluarga Penerima Manfaat Program Keluarga Harapan di kecamatan minasate’ne Kabupaten Pangkep. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Di mana seluruh proses penelitian tidak ditujukan untuk membuktikan suatu hipotesis tetapi untuk mengambil suatu kesimpulan yang bermakna dan sebagai evaluasi atas fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Analisis data yang bertujuan mengatur urutan data, mengorganisasikannya, dan mengkategorikannya. Cara analisis data yang digunakan peneliti adalah model interaktif Miles dan Huberman didasarkan tiga proses yang berlangsung secara interaktif. Dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan dengan 5 informan yaitu Koordinator pendamping dan 3 KPM PKH di kecamatan Minasatene Pangkep. Menurut Koordinator PKH sebagai salah satu informan. dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan KPM melalui graduasi mandiri diperlukan penyusunan strategi, Oleh karena itu Pendamping telah menetapkan beberapa strategi agar Keluarga Penerima Manfaat dapat mengetahui lebih dalam tentang manfaat dan tujuan Program Keluarga Harapan oleh sebab itu untuk mencapai tujuan ini maka sangat dibutuhkan strategi yang baik. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan pendamping PKH di kecamatan MInasatene sudah tepat, namun belum maksimal keberhasilannya. Meskipun indikator penggunaan strategi komunikasi oleh pendamping digunakan dengan baik, namun graduasi mandiri sebagai tanda keberhasilan program belum memenuhi target yang telah ditetapkan. Graduasi mandiri masih tergolong rendah dan perlu ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Fenomena relasi Patron dan Klien di Kota Makassar merupakan aspek historis dan kultural yang terbentuk dalam kepercayaan masyarakat dan menjadi pola kehidupan sehari-hari. Bangsawan (patron) dianggap memiliki kekuatan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat Sulawesi Selatan, khususnya di Kota Makassar, sehingga mereka dianggap pantas menjadi pemimpin. Pada Pilpres 2019, kemenangan Prabowo-Sandi di Kota Makassar didukung oleh patron-patron di sana, yang memanfaatkan pola relasi patron-klien untuk memenangkan pasangan tersebut. Meskipun beberapa tokoh politik nasional mendukung Jokowi-Amin di Kota Makassar, mereka belum memiliki pengaruh yang cukup kuat untuk mempengaruhi pilihan politik masyarakat. Penelitian ini melihat bahwa ada faktor lain yang membuat pilihan politik masyarakat dapat dimobilisasi oleh elit yang berkuasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Elit Lokal Pareto yang menjelaskan lapisan dalam masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data dari wawancara, observasi, dan telaah dokumen. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa relasi patron-klien dalam kemenangan Prabowo-Sandi di Kota Makassar dipengaruhi oleh tiga faktor dominan, yaitu jaringan dan kapabilitas dari kelompok-kelompok yang memiliki kekuasaan, investasi ekonomi, dan jabatan struktural dalam birokrasi. Kemenangan Prabowo-Sandi menggunakan kekuatan relasi patron-klien yang terbentuk dari tiga kelompok besar, dengan memanfaatkan faktor terbentuknya patron-klien, faktor kultural berupa budaya Ajjoareng dan Joa' yang masih dipegang kuat oleh masyarakat Kota Makassar secara historis, faktor ekonomi yang mempengaruhi pilihan politik masyarakat, dan faktor organisasi Islam yang menguatkan relasi patron-klien dengan ideologi ketuhanan.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) analyze the promotion strategy used by GoPlay Indonesia through @goplayindonesia, and (2) analyze promotional activities carried out by GoPlay Indonesia in encouraging creative industries in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach. In this study, primary data was obtained directly from informants by conducting interviews with Edy Sulystio as CEO of GoPlay Indonesia, and Franky Kuncoro as one of the content creators with several achievements in events held by GoPlay. The data in this study were also obtained from live streaming carried out by GoPlay sourced from Sandy Colondam as Head of Content GoPlay and Martinus Faisal as Chief strategic officers GoPlay. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation of the GoPlay and Instagram applications GoPlay and activity documentation. Data analysis techniques are data collection, reduction, presentation and conclusion. The study results show that 1) GoPlay Indonesia's promotion strategy is in accordance with what Philip Kotler and Keller formulated: service promotion places more emphasis on building closeness and trust between the parties involved. Via instagram GoPlay consistently delivers various information about live creator content streaming and informing about events held by GoPlay for viewers. 2) Promotional activities carried out by GoPlay are making big events that involve several parties and can be enjoyed by the wider community, even those who are not viewers GoPlay though. This event shows that GoPlay supports content creators to continue working so that a live creative industry climate continues stream GoPlay. GoPlay encourages the creative industry in Indonesia and invites creators to create quality content and find their community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of functionality and flexibility between Perplexity and Phind.com in meeting student communication needs in a university environment. In an increasingly advanced digital era, the use of artificial intelligence-based applications is very important to support the learning process and student communication. Perplexity is known for its fast and accurate search capabilities while Phind.com superior personalization and flexibility in the delivery of information. This research uses a mixture of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods. A survey was conducted among 200 students and semi-structured interviews were also conducted among 10 students at Hasanuddin University who had used the Perplexity application and Phind.com. Data collection techniques used in this research are questionnaires, interviews with informants who are considered competent and in accordance with the topics discussed. The results of this research show that Perplexity and Phind.com. has different functionality and flexibility in meeting student learning needs. In the case of researchers, Perplexity excels at providing access to quality and diverse learning materials and features that support independent learning. Meanwhile, Phind.com excels in providing an active discussion forum and learning community, as well as features that support collaboration and interaction between students. Both applications have their own advantages and disadvantages. The right application for students depends on their individual learning needs and learning style.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas penggunaan press release oleh Humas Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Diskominfo), Statistik, dan Persandian Kabupaten Luwu dalam membentuk citra positif instansi pemerintah. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana proses pengelolaan, strategi, dan dampak press release sebagai alat komunikasi kehumasan dalam meningkatkan hubungan dengan masyarakat. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan narasumber kunci, yaitu Kepala Dinas, Kepala Bidang Layanan Komunikasi, staf Humas, konten kreator yang terlibat dalam pembuatan dan distribusi press release, sementara data sekunder mencakup dokumen-dokumen yang relevan seperti arsip press release dan laporan tahunan. Teknik analisis tematik digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema utama yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan press release, sementara triangulasi diterapkan untuk memastikan validitas dan reliabilitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Diskominfo Kabupaten Luwu mengelola berbagai jenis press release yang disebarluaskan melalui berbagai platform media, termasuk media cetak, elektronik, dan sosial media. Pendekatan ini membantu dalam mengatasi komplain masyarakat dan membangun komunikasi yang transparan, serta memperkuat kerjasama antar bidang terkait dalam pengelolaan informasi publik. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang mendalam mengenai peran strategis press release dalam meningkatkan citra positif pemerintahan daerah dan membangun hubungan yang lebih baik dengan publik.
