Abstract

Hasan Basri Agus was the winner of the Jambi local election in 2010. Start his career from civil servant, and then became head of subdistrict before he was choosen as regent of Sarolangun and the last he was elected as Jambi governor in the period of 2010-2015. In the applied of his government, Hasan Basri Agus applied the principles of political communication as an important way to build interaction relationship with Jambi communities. The research uses a qualitative method by using a constructive paradigm. Based on constructive paradigm, the next approach the researcher use in a dramaturgical analysis. This research sought to give an objective analysis of the political communication of the Jambi Governor in the applied of his government. The result of the research show that Hasan Basri Agus succesfully represented him self as people protector, religious, and charismatic leader.

Abstract

Da’wah needs to be packed with various means, not only by the way of face to face so that da’wah is not limited by space and time. Da’wah can be done through written or oflen also called da’wah bil qalam which is means and method of conveying da’wah messages to mad’u through print media, one of these are the work of books. Accordance with this, the islamic books that contrained the message of preaching was born the book “The Miracle of Giving by Yusuf Mansur. The research method which used is a qualitative method with a conten analysis approach, which is a research technique to obtain an overview the contents of the da’wah message that contained in the book. The contents of the message of da’wah that contained in strategy which used by Yusuf Mansur in preaching is invite people to love charity throgh the strategy and storyfeling strategy based on true stories.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology supports the need for public information servis through the media. Various types of media appear as intermediaries that can make it easier for humans to convey their communication activities through the use of the internet, one of which is through Instagram. The rise of Instgram which is more used as a medium to interect with others makes it a new phenomenon as a medium of communication. The research focus in this study is How is the effectiveness of using Instagram social media in shaping the image of the Palembang Beatbox Family. This study aims to find out how effective the use of social media Instagram in shaping the image of Palembang Beatbox Family. The research method used is qualitative while the type of research is descriptive and while the data collection methods used are observation, interview, and documentation methods. From the results of reseacrches’ research, it can be concluded that the Palembang Beatbox Family community uses sosial media instagram as a means of introducing what the beatbox community in Palembang is to the general public and the use of instagram as a promotional medium is quite effective in increasing it’s image and popularity on Instagram account @palembangbeatboxfam itself seen from various kinds of pots activities and event carried out. This can be seen from the many interesting uploads presented, with the use of social media Instagram as a means of promotion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini melatar belakangi film divisualisasikan dalam bentuk gambar dan membentuk mozaik yang berhubungan, dalam film terdapat tanda dan simbol mengenai gambaran tentang sesuatu makna yang sebenarnya terdapat pesan tersirat didalamnya, itu membuat pentingnya untuk melakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pesan dakwah penelitian berjudul tentang Analisis Pesan Dakwah Dalam Film Surga Yang Dirindukan 3. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui makna Denotasi, konotasi pesan aqidah dan mu’amalah dan pesan dakwah dalam film Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan 3.

Abstract

Social media is one of many technology developments which already common in human’s life, especially for generation Z whom half of the daily works are done with the help of social media. Social media is stated as one factor that influence the development of children’s behaviour, also to human’s reading interest. In the certain amount of frequency and quality of use of social media is considered capable of influencing one’s reading interest and reading quality. This research was aimed to find out the influence of social media towards generation Z’s reading interest. The sample used in this research was generation Z whom followers of one media company, CNN Indonesia (@CNNIndonesia) on twitter with purposive sampling technique. Abstract

This research is entitled "The Use of Journalistic Language Style in Broadcasting and News at RRI Palembang". It often happens that broadcasting institutions both government and private have their own problems in news making, news production, and even things that happen during broadcasts. Broadcasting institutions also have their own programs to adjust to the needs of the market and listeners plus the modern era like today in the use of journalistic language styles, few broadcasting or radio institutions apply journalistic language styles properly and correctly. The method used is a qualitative method using Kunjana Rahardi's theory. With the first stage, researchers observed the process of making news in broadcast programs at RRI Palembang and the use of journalistic language styles in the field of broadcasting and news at RRI Palembang. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that RRI Palembang will limit the use of journalistic language in broadcasting, from several existing programs that are characterized by contemporary, local language, some even use journalistic language properly and correctly in accordance with the KBBI (Big Indonesian Dictionary) and EYD (Refined Spelling). While in the field of news in making news at RRI Palembang, the field of news in the use of journalistic language styles has followed in accordance with the KBBI and EYD. Which in making news has gone through various processes, standardized sentences, language that is not convoluted and easy to understand. Abstract

ABSTRACT: This researcher discusses the issue of feminism in a film entitled Bombshell. The title of this research is a female journalist's interpretation of feminism in the film Bomshell. Where this research aims in the long term is to provide input to film producers or directors regarding the audience's acceptance of female journalists in the city of Palemang regarding the issue of feminism in the film Bombshell. In this research, the researcher used a qualitative method with an Encoding and Decoding reception analysis approach, using Stuart Hall's reception theory. This is to observe the results of the collation between audience discourse and media discourse. Understanding the existence of the issue of feminism is a matter of differences in interpretation between informants using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation of the results obtained from this research, namely that the five informants gave different meanings to the issue of feminism in the film Bombshell, based on the results, knowledge, patterns different thoughts and experiences. Thus, the results obtained from this research were four informants who agreed with the message, issues and all segments conveyed by the film Bomshell, which means being in a position of Dominant Hegemony, and there was one informant who disagreed and gave his own views on one of the segments in the film. the bombshell. which means being in a negotiation position. The conclusion of this research is that it will hopefully provide information, insight and hopefully the audience will be able to take away the moral values and messages contained in the film. With this research, it is hoped that viewers will have active skills in interpreting the messages contained in film media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the social criticism represented through a documentary film entitled The Dark Room Behind the Splendor of the Jakarta International Stadium from the Assumption YouTube channel. Seen from Representment, Object and Interpretation. The Assumption YouTube channel on February 11 2022 uploaded a documentary video that discusses life around the Jakarta International Stadium location which makes them sometimes have to leave their place of residence. This is a qualitative study using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis. The data source used by the researcher, namely the primary data source, is a video uploaded on the Assumption YouTube channel with the title The Dark Room Behind the Splendor of the Jakarta International Stadium. Other sources are secondary data sources including internet news, journals and previous theses, as well as books related to research. Observation and documentation are data collection strategies used in data analysis. From the results of research to find representations of social criticism in the documentary film The Dark Room Behind the Splendor of the Jakarta International Stadium, researchers have concluded that this representation can be seen from three points, namely the representamen, objects and interpretations represented from the dialogue monologues Ayong, Kasdiyah and Basadan as well as from taking pictures.
