Abstract

Tourism villages have recently become a list of destinations for domestic tourists. One of the tourist villages in East Java is the Keling Tourism Village in Kediri Regency. This research focuses on the application of digital media to Keling tourism village products as an effort to grow income generation. The aim is to find out how people use digital media to market Keling tourism village products. The research was carried out using primary data taken from direct observation as well as interviews with full parties. For supporting data using a systematic literature review. The approach to this research is qualitative-descriptive. The first research finding is that there are quite a lot of tourism potentials in the Keling tourist village. Second, the use of digital media empirically increases income which is quite satisfactory. Third, digital media really helps managers and tourists to get to know more about and improve the quality and quantity of Keling tourism village products.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work-life balance on work engagement with job satisfaction as a mediating variable among employees at the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Mojokerto Branch Office. A quantitative approach was used with a census method involving 40 respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.2.9. The results show that work-life balance does not directly affect work engagement but has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on work engagement and successfully mediates the relationship between work-life balance and work engagement. These findings highlight the critical role of job satisfaction in enhancing employee engagement through improved work-life balance.

Abstract

Kebakaran merupakan salah satu peristiwa darurat yang berdampak serius terhadap keselamatan jiwa, kerugian material, dan kelestarian lingkungan. Dalam konteks ini, Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kota Surabaya memiliki peran vital dalam merespons insiden secara cepat dan tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di instansi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 pegawai dari total populasi 123 pegawai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, baik secara fisik maupun sosial, berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja pegawai. Selain itu, disiplin kerja yang ditunjukkan melalui kepatuhan terhadap prosedur, tanggung jawab, serta keteladanan pimpinan juga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap performa pegawai. Uji simultan menunjukkan bahwa variabel lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Sementara uji parsial memperkuat temuan bahwa masing-masing variabel memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara individual. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah lingkungan kerja dan disiplin kerja merupakan dua faktor utama yang mendukung peningkatan kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kota Surabaya. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar instansi terus meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan kerja serta menegakkan disiplin secara konsisten. Bagi penelitian selanjutnya, diusulkan untuk mengkaji variabel lain seperti motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan, dan budaya organisasi guna mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

Social capital is a strong network in the form of relationships between individuals that develop over time, trust and collective action within an organization arise. The level of social capital owned by company employees or business people can affect the transfer of knowledge, especially in establishing relationships and collaborating with business partners to develop their own business which will ultimately affect innovative work behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of social capital on the sharing of tacit knowledge and its effect on the ability to innovate. The population in this study are 2 company employees and 2 business actors. Methods of data collection using observation and interviews. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that social capital had a significant positive effect on knowledge transfer and innovative work behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee engagement through organizational commitment among employees of PG Candi Baru Sidoarjo. A quantitative approach was employed to examine the relationships among the variables. The population consisted of all employees of PG Candi Baru Sidoarjo, with 105 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement and organizational commitment. In addition, organizational commitment also has a positive effect on employee engagement. The mediation analysis indicates that organizational commitment is able to mediate the relationship between job satisfaction and employee engagement. These findings suggest that higher job satisfaction can strengthen organizational commitment, which in turn enhances employee engagement. Therefore, organizations are encouraged to improve job satisfaction and strengthen organizational commitment as strategic efforts to achieve more optimal and sustainable employee engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Work Stress and Work-life Balance on Affective Commitment among employees of PG XYZ. The research employs a quantitative approach using a saturated sampling technique involving 105 respondents from various organizational divisions. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results indicate that Work Stress has a positive effect on Work-life Balance, while Work-life Balance has a positive and significant effect on Affective Commitment. These findings suggest that work stress, when experienced at a manageable level, does not always lead to negative outcomes. Instead, it can encourage employees to adapt, remain resilient, and maintain balance between work demands and personal life. Employees who experience a favorable level of work-life balance tend to develop stronger emotional attachment, loyalty, and a sense of belonging to the organization. Therefore, effective management of work stress and consistent organizational support for work-life balance are essential to strengthen affective commitment and ensure sustainable organizational performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Transformational Leadership and Perceived Organizational Support on Work Engagement among employees in the sugar processing industry. Work engagement is an important factor that reflects employees’ enthusiasm, dedication, and absorption in their work, which can contribute to organizational performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique, involving a total of 105 employees as respondents. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 3 software. The results of the analysis indicate that Transformational Leadership has a significant positive effect on Work Engagement, suggesting that leaders who are able to inspire, motivate, and provide individual consideration can enhance employees’ level of engagement at work. In addition, Perceived Organizational Support also has a significant positive effect on Work Engagement, indicating that employees who perceive higher organizational support tend to demonstrate higher involvement and commitment in their work. These findings imply that the application of transformational leadership practices and the enhancement of organizational support are essential strategies for increasing employee work engagement in the the sugar processing industry
