Abstract

Surabaya is the area with the highest spread of the Covid 19 virus in East Java. Every day more people infected with this virus in the city of Surabaya. With the high number of the spread of the Covid 19 virus, the Surabaya city government and the East Java provincial government imposed large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) to break the chain of spreading the virus. In addition, nationally, the minister of national education, with the COVID-19 pandemic, issued regulations for learning from home for schools from elementary to high school and university. The problem arises when learning activities from home for students who are in a boarding house because it is affected economically, socially and psychologically. There are those who cannot go home because of PSBB regulations, they are afraid that their home area will be in the red zone and various other reasons that require them to stay in the boarding house. This community service has a target of increasing nutritional resilience and immunity, especially to ward off disease and maintain body immunity so that it remains excellent for students who survive at the boarding house. The method used was data collection of students affected by Covid 19 who survived in the boarding houses around the Ketintang UNESA campus and the distribution of nutrition and immunity enhancing food ingredients. As a result, there were 35 packages distributed to Unesa FE management students who were affected by Covid 19 to survive at home until now. The recipient of the package considers that the package is very important to maintain endurance so that it is not susceptible to disease. Keywords: Strengthening nutrition, immunity, management students, covid 19

Abstract

The business continuity of MSME entrepreneurs is affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially those engaged in batik fashion, where fashion shows or exhibitions are cancelled. To support batik entrepreneurs, product and technology innovations that adapt to market conditions are needed. In order to increase sales of batik fashion in the pandemic era through digitalization, an appropriate marketing strategy is needed to increase technological literacy that has a positive impact on increasing market share.This community service activity aims to analyze and implement strategies to increase the market share of batik MSMEs through optimizing web-based digital marketing. This type of community service is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The method of data collection was carried out by survey and observation methods. The implementation of the training uses tutorial and lecture techniques. The implementation of community service is carried out in 4 stages, namely the identification of batik UMKM partner problems, formulation of partner problem solutions, providing e-commerce training in the form of e-commerce web design training and content creation, and evaluation and assistance in the form of partner understanding and satisfaction surveys. SMEs in Kampung Batik Lemahputro, Sidoarjo have implemented several forms of web-based marketing applications into their businesses, but their level of use is limited to basic marketing applications such as e-mail and static websites. However, MSMEs already have a moderate understanding of the benefits of web-based marketing and more than 50 percent of SMEs indicated that they are aware that web-based marketing can improve overall performance and profitability.

Abstract

East Java, especially Surabaya City is the city with the highest number of people affected by the Covid-19 virus. As the capital city of East Java Province, Surabaya is the center of administrative services, offices, services, shopping, industry and other supporting sectors. With the Covid-19 virus pandemic spreading so fast, the provincial governments of East Java and the City of Surabaya issued regulations for working at home, studying at home, and limiting activities that led to large gatherings of people. Problems arise when the activities of schools, agencies, offices are reduced, so small traders, informal workers, motorcycle taxis, and some informal workers are economically affected. As well as government regulations that must be obeyed in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic, it also needs to be understood. This community service has a target of increasing endurance, especially in terms of meeting basic needs. The implementer understands that in terms of their income is directly affected, the provision of these staples is so that they do not experience an economic shock. So that later they can stay active and look for income to meet family needs.

Abstract

With the Covid-19 virus pandemic spreading so fast, the Surabaya City government issued regulations for working at home, studying at home, and limiting activities that led to large gatherings of people. Problems arise when the activities of schools, agencies, offices, motorcycle taxis, and some informal workers are economically affected. As well as government regulations that must be obeyed in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic, it also needs to be understood. This community service has a target, namely increasing food security, especially in terms of meeting basic needs. The implementer understands that in terms of meeting their basic needs, they have a few problems related to how to get it due to the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB), the distribution of PKM funds as foodstuffs is carried out in order to meet the basic food needs of the people affected by Covid-19 so that it can support public welfare. The method used is data collection of students and contract workers / utsourcing affected by Covid 19 who survive in boarding houses around the UNESA Ketintang campus location and distribution of nutrition and immunity enhancing food ingredients. As a result, there were 35 packages distributed to management students and non-contract / outsourcing FE Unesa who were affected by Covid 19 to meet food needs. Recipients of basic food packages consider that the packages are very important to meet food needs and maintain body resistance so that they are not susceptible to disease

Abstract

The company is a business entity with specific goals for its business activities. It requires employees as the driving force of its operating system. This study examines and analyzes the effect of employee engagement and work-life balance on employee performance through job satisfaction. This research is a causality study with a quantitative approach. This study used a probability sampling technique, i.e., proportionate stratified random sampling, with 87 respondents. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partial Least Squared (PLS) analysis method and with the help of smartPLS 3.0 software. The results explain that Employee Engagement positively and significantly affects employee performance. Work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has no significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction cannot mediate the effect of employee engagement on employee performance. Job satisfaction cannot mediate the effect of work-life balance on employee performance. Companies can pay more attention to employee performance by improving the quality of their employees through employee engagement and work-life balance factors so that job satisfaction can be fulfilled and employee performance can continue to increase.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and analyze the influence of transformational leadership (TL) on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) through organizational culture (OC). This research is causal research with a quantitative approach involving 44 employees of PT Rosan Permai. The sampling technique used saturation for 44 respondents. The statistical analysis used in this research is SEM PLS with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The analysis results obtained from this research show that TL has no effect on OCB. TL has a significant positive effect on CO. Organizational culture has a significant positive effect on OCB. Organizational culture in this study was able to mediate the influence of TL and OCB. From this research it can be concluded that transformational leadership can improve and develop Organizational Citizenship Behavior through organizational culture at PT Rosan Permai.

Abstract

The community service program carried out in Sidoarjo Regency aims to help solve priority problems experienced by shoe MSME partners. There are two priority problems that must be resolved to empower partner MSMEs to improve the quality and quantity of their production, namely: (1) low quality and quantity of leather shoe brand labeling production, and (2) poor financial management. Methods to overcome the problem of low quality and quantity of brand labeling production are carried out through the application of semi-automatic leather embossing machines with electric energy and to overcome poor financial management through training and mentoring of financial management with a participatory approach. The results of this community service program are: (1) Electric energy semi-automatic leather embossing press machine, 2) a simple cash book. The conclusion of the results of the implementation of PKM activities that have been carried out with partners is that by increasing the quality and quantity of partner shoe brand labeling production with a magnitude of 30 times faster or (3000%) increase besides that the financial management of partner SMEs has been carried out properly through recording business financial flows using simple ledger.

Abstract

Petis adalah komoditas dari pengolahan ikan yang digunakan sebagai campuran makanan dan lauk pauk yang khas. UMKM Kupang Merah merupakan usaha mikro yang memproduksi petis di Sidoarjo. Permasalahan yang dialami UMKM Kupang Merah adalah kapasitas produksi yang sedikit, proses pemasakan memerlukan waktu yang lama, dan tempat kurang higienis. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk membantu UMKM Kupang Merah untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Kegiatan ini menerapkan tiga metode dalam pelaksanaannya, yaitu observasi, diskusi, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini dengan implementasi mesin pengolah petis dengan teknik double jacket dan vacuum pressure memiliki kapasitas 35 kg dengan proses pemasakan 1.5 jam. Mesin juga dilengkapi Eletrical Control Unit (ECU) sebagai teknologi timer dan thermocontroll mengatur suhu serta mengatur tekanan kompor dan pengadukan otomatis yang dapat diatur kecepatan putaran sehingga dalam prosesnya pemasakan dan pengadukan bisa merata dan tidak gosong. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini, dengan implementasi mesin pengolah petis dengan teknik double jacket dan vacuum pressure dapat meningkatkan produksi petis di UMKM Kupang Merah dan menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada.   Kata Kunci: Mesin Petis, Double Jacket, Produktivitas

Abstract

Objective: This research refers to the purpose of student organizations that function as a means for students to develop intellectual abilities and skills, so student interest talent development activities as part of the educational process can be carried out through student organizations. This is important because honing skills through self-habituation and fulfilling the needs of life can form a balance between knowledge and skills as the basis of quality human resources in the development of the time. Method: It was carried out by analyzing the research model of the influence between student leadership training, including Pre-LKKMTD, LKKMTD, and LKKMTM on CLEI (measurement of higher education learning effectiveness inventory) in this measurement method. This procedure was used to test multiple regression research models. Results: It was stated that the participation of students in the leadership training of Pre-LKKMTD, LKKMTD, and LKKMTM students had a partial and simultaneous effect on student learning ability through the measurement of student learning ability effectiveness inventory (CLEI).  Novelty: in this study is to measure the impact of participation in the level of student leadership training on students' learning abilities by using a variety of six learning abilities, including self-efficacy, organization and attention to learning, stress control due to time and environmental pressures, involvement in college activities, emotional satisfaction, and communication in learning adapted from a research questionnaire called inventory higher learning effectiveness (CLEI).

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyse the influence of perceptions of perceived organisational support and work-life balance on organisational citizenship behaviour. This research is causal research using a quantitative approach, with a population of 132 employees and a sample of 99 employees. The statistical analysis method in this research is Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) supported by SmartPLS 4.1.0.0 software. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of perceived organisational support on altruism, there is no significant influence of perceived organisational support on conscientiousness, there is no significant influence of perceived organisational support on sportsmanship, there is a positive and significant influence of perceived organisational support on courtesy, there is a positive and significant influence of perceived organisational support on civic virtue, there is a positive and significant influence of work-life balance on altruism, there is a positive and significant influence of work-life balance on conscientiousness, there is a positive and significant influence of work-life balance on sportsmanship, there is a positive and significant influence of work-life balance on courtesy, there is a positive and significant influence of work-life balance on civic virtue. Companies that want to improve organisational citizenship behaviour must pay more attention to perceptions of perceived organisational support and work-life balance that influence each dimension.
