Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui partisipasi pemuda dalam meningkatkan program wajib belajar sembilan tahun bagi masyarakat di Kelurahan Denai Kota Medan, disertai dengan kendala-kendala masyarakat dalam menyelesaikan kewajiban menempuh pendidikan selama sembilan tahun, yakni SD dan SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan penelitian ini adalah orang tua yang memiliki anak yang sedang atau telah mengalami masa wajib belajar sembilan tahun dan para pemuda yang tergabung dalam organisasi yang berperan dalam meningkatkan pendidikan wajib belajar sembilan tahun, yang berada di setiap lingkungan di Kelurahan Denai. Hasil yang didapat adalah kendala utama yang dirasakan para orang tua dalam menuntaskan anaknya dalam wajib belajar sembilan tahun adalah dana dan ongkos. Maka peran dan partisipasi pemuda yang tergabung dalam organisasi adalah menjembatani itu. Dari data yang didapat, ada organisasi dengan pemuda yang berada di dalamnya melakukan pencarian orang tua asuh, yang kemudian memberikan bantuan berupa pembebasan biaya uang sekolah bagi anak yatim dan tidak mampu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see modern market development with the Franchise concept and in collaboration with third parties opens a partnership space in the management of Village Business Stores carried out by BUMDes managers. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the business strategy developed by BUMDes-Mart Berkah Jatimulyo Village, Pegajahan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, using the business model canvas as a tool to identify existing business models. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection techniques by conducting literature studies and research in the field. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results obtained are in the form of a description of the nine elements in the business model consisting of customer segments, value proposition, customer relationships, customer segments, channels, revenue streams, cost structure, key activities, key resources, key partners. This business model will find out the weaknesses and strengths of a business that is being run and to find out what strategies can be implemented in the future. In addition to these aspects, the findings in this study are that there are factors that influence the business model canvas on BUMDes-Mart, namely in terms of market and financial segments.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the contribution of management skills on the effectiveness of Meat tourism village. The specific objective of this study was analyzed the contribution of conceptual skills, human relations skills, and technical skills on contributioniveness of Meat tourism village Toba Samosir North Sumatera. The sample of this study were 60 head of family in Meat tourism village. Data collection techniques carried out by documentation studies, research instruments, interviews and observations. The data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant contribution between management skills on the effectiveness of Meat tourism village. There was a positive and significant contribution between conceptual skills on the effectiveness of Meat tourism village, there was a positive and significant contribution between human relations skills on the effectiveness of Meat tourism village, and there is a positive and significant contribution between technical skills on effectiveness of Meat tourism village. The results showed that human relations skills were the dominant contribution followed by conceptual skills and technical skills in Meat tourism village Toba Samosir, North Sumatera.

This is not on ly to improve the local economy, but also improve the competitiveness of local economy and so ciety incomes. Therefore, it needs a lot of strategy. There are a lot of strategy to improve the con dusive and market friendly investment services. That are by improving the quality ofhuman resources (HR), the institutional factor, reforming the regulation of investment, transparency and accountabilit, safety factor, complaint management system, giving incentives for in vestors and applying Rewards and Punishment methods.

Abstract

The environment is a space for life in all aspects whose natural nature is to provide the greatest benefit to humans. However, today's environmental conditions, especially in the city of Medan, are still not ideal. Various environmental problems that occur cause the benefits of the environment that should be obtained by the people of Medan City to be hampered. The contradiction between the ideal conditions of the environment and the objective conditions of the environment  today requires the role of the community, especially youth, in environmental conservation, including the role of youth in environmental conservation in Sei Kera Hilir 2 Village, Medan Perjuangan District.This study aims to analyze the role of youth in environmental conservation efforts in Sei Kera Hilir 2 Subdistrict MedanPerjuangan based on Law No. 40 of 2009 Article 17 paragraph 1 regarding the active role of youth, to analyze what obstacles are experienced by youth in playing a role in environmental preservation in Sei Village. Kera Hilir 2, Medan Struggle District, to analyze the impact of the implementation of Law No. 40 of 2009 Article 17 on the role of youth in environmental conservation efforts in Sei Kera Hilir 2 Village, Medan Struggle District.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze community participation in the supervision of village funds and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of community participation in the supervision of village funds. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The informants in this study were the Headman, Secretary, (BPD), RT, RW, and the Community.  The results of this study indicate that community participation in monitoring village funds in Gawu-Gawu Bouso village is still very low or less than optimal. The supporting factor is the awareness or willingness of the community to participate in development activities. While the inhibiting factors are the low quality of education, low income levels, and limited employment opportunities in rural areas.

Abstract

Taxpayer compliance is one of the measuring instruments for the success of motor vehicle tax revenues. This study aims to analyze the influence of economic conditions, tax sanctions and modernization of the tax administration system towards the compliance of motor vehicle taxpayers in Samsat South Medan. The theory used in this study is Risk Opposing Theory (Risk Aversion Theory). The population in this study was all motor vehicle taxpayers registered at the Samsat Joint Office in Medan Selatan with a total sample of 271 samples The sample determination technique is accidental sampling. This research is a type of quantitative research using primary data, data obtained by spreading questionnaires. Analytical techniques that Used is multiple linear regression with first a classical assumption test consisting of a normality test, a multicolenierity test, and a heteroskedasticity test. After the classical assumption test fulfilled followed by hypothesis test with t test and F test. The results showed that both partially and simultaneously the variables of the quality of economic conditions, tax sanctions, and modernization of the tax administration system positively affect to the compliance of motor vehicle taxpayers in Samsat South Medan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still problems with the Bah Biak Waterfall tourist attraction, such as accessibility, facilities that are still damaged and inadequate, the absence of a tourism organization that manages the Bah Biak Waterfall and poor management. optimally, so there needs to be development that can be implemented well by the relevant department, namely the Simalungun Regency Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy Service.The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The informants in this research consisted of the Head of the Simalungun Regency Tourism Culture and Creative Economy Service, the Sidamanik District Head, the Bah Biak Waterfall manager, the community around the Bah Bak Waterfall tourist attraction and tourists. This research uses development indicators proposed by M Liga Suryadana, namely Attraction Objects, Facilities, Accessibility, Institutions, Management Institutions and Hospitality.The results of this research show that the development carried out by the Department of Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy has not been optimal, in terms of attractiveness, the development carried out is only limited to building a mini park and swimming pool which is right under the Bah. Biak Waterfall. The facilities and developments carried out are not optimal, such as the condition of toilets and parking lots. Accessibility, development has not been carried out due to the PTPN IV Bah Biak Waterfall Tourism Business Use Rights. Management Institutions still only create Tourism Awareness Group and Travel Agent programs. Hospitality, development carried out through tourism awareness programs. The obstacles faced are the lack of community participation in the tourism sector, limited support and maintenance of supporting facilities, lack of cooperation with investors and the absence of a promotion system. The supporting factor for its development is that Bah Biak Waterfall has good capital and natural potential.
