Impor gula mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun. Walaupun penelitian yang mendukung pencapaian swasembada gula telah banyak dilakukan, namun penelitian terkait analisis potensi suatu wilayah untuk pengembangan komoditas tebu belum banyak dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi tebu dalam mendukung pencapaian swasembada gula di Kabupaten Bondowoso. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan sistem dinamik untuk menghitung share tebu terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) dan analisis Shift Share Esteban Marquillas untuk menghitung potensi/spesialisasi komoditas tebu di Kabupaten Bondowoso. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Kabupaten Bondowoso selama kurun waktu 2010–2015 mempunyai keunggulan kompetitif dan spesialisasi pada komoditas tebu, sehingga Kabupaten Bondowoso mempunyai peluang untuk keberlanjutan komoditas tebu ke depan. Strategi yang dapat dilakukan adalah membuka lahan-lahan perkebunan tebu baru di wilayah lain yang belum terdapat komoditas tebu seperti Kecamatan Binakal, Sempol, dan Pakem. Several studies have been conducted to achieve self-sufficiency in sugar, but few studies have looked at whether a region/area has an excellence potenty for further sugarcane development. This study aims to analyze the sugarcane potency in supporting achievement of sugar self-sufficiency in Bondowoso District. The analysis method used in this research is quantitative analysis using dynamic system approach to calculate sugarcane share to Gross Regional Domestic Product, and Shift Share Esteban Marquillas analysis to calculate potency/specialty of sugar cane commodity in Bondowoso regency. The analysis showed that Bondowoso district during 2010-2015 has competitive advantage and specialization in sugarcane, so that Bondowoso district has an opportunity for sustainable sugarcane development in the future. Strategies that can be done is to open new sugarcane plantations fields in other regions that have no sugarcane plantation such as in Binakal, Sempol, and Pakem sub-district.

The development of industry 4.0 today requires the entire business industry to adapt to changes in technology and science, including the halal industry, namely by digitizing the halal industry and Muslim consumers. It is necessary to study how Muslim behavior in the decision to purchase a halal product in order to optimize the halal industry. Muslim consumers implement Islamic values and principles in consumption behavior so that they have different characteristics from consumer behavior in conventional theory. Muslim consumers are influenced by internal and external factors in making purchasing decisions for halal products, including subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, self-identity, halal awareness, religiosity, purchasing decision strategies, online consumer behavior consisting of perceived risk, technology acceptance. and online trusts. The purpose of reviewing the theory of Muslim consumer behavior is to be able to optimize the development of the halal industry by recognizing the behavior of Muslim consumers as the target market for the Muslim industry so that they can compete and develop halal products according to the needs and demands of Muslim consumers in the industrial era 4.0. This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth, inflation and population growth in open unemployment rate in Indonesia. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series data and variable data used are annual data in the period 1986-2017 with the object of research in the country o Indonesia. The data sources used in this study were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Indonesia and World Bank. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) technique. The estimation of time series data with multiple linear regression analysis shows that the economics growth variable has a positive and not significant effect on the level of open unemployment, the inflation variable has a positive and not significant effect on the level of open unemployment, and the population growth variable has a negative and significant effect on the level of open unemployment in Indonesia. Hotel syariah merupakan hotel yang memperhatikan nilai moralitas, adat, dan nilai agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui determinan preferensi konsumen dalam memilih hotel syariah di Kabupaten Jember dan pengaruh variabel pengetahuan tentang hotel syariah, produk, tarif, lokasi, serta aksesibilitas terhadap preferensi konsumen memilih hotel syariah di Kabupaten Jember. Data penelitian ini menggunakan data persepsi responden dan jumlah tamu menginap di hotel Kabupaten Jember tahun 2019. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi logistik yang diolah dengan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga variabel yang merupakan determinan preferensi konsumen memilih hotel syariah di Kabupaten Jember yaitu variabel produk, lokasi, dan aksesibilitas. Variabel produk, lokasi, dan aksesibilitas memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap preferensi konsumen memilih hotel syariah di Kabupaten Jember. Sedangkan variabel pengetahuan tentang hotel syariah dan tarif tidak memengaruhi preferensi konsumen memilih hotel syariah di Kabupaten Jember.

International migration by Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) not only has a positive impact on improving the economic conditions of PMI families but also contributes to developing the country's economy through PMI remittances. This study aims to determine the effect of Unemployment, minimum wages, poverty, and human development index on international migration of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) on the island of Java. This study uses secondary data in the form of panel data, with time-series data (2010 - 2019) and cross-section data (6 provinces on Java island). The data analysis method uses a panel data regression with the Common Effect Model (CEM) approach. Statistical tests use simultaneous tests, partial tests, and the coefficient of determination. This study uses the classic assumption test, the multicollinearity test, the heteroscedasticity test, and the normality test. The study results concluded that simultaneously Unemployment, minimum wages, poverty, and the human development index had a significant effect on international migration. Partially, Unemployment and poverty have a positive and significant impact, minimum wages have a negative and significant effect, while the human development index has a positive and not significant effect on international migration.

This study aims to examine the effect of Gross Domestic Product, District Minimum Wage, and Education on Employment Opportunities in East Java. This type of research is explanatory research which is a research that aims to determine the effect of the variable product influence Gross Regional Domestic, Minimum Wage, and Education on Employment Opportunities in East Java. The method used in this study is panel data with a Fixed Effect approach and is associated with descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Gross Regional Domestic Product variable has a positive and significant effect on Employment Opportunities in East Java, the Regency Minimum Wage has a negative and significant effect on Employment Opportunities in East Java and Education has a positive and significant effect on Employment Opportunities in East Java

This study aims to analyze factors that can affect the interest of workers to migrate commuters from Sidoarjo to the city of Surabaya. This research aims to analyze the influence of family dependents, education level, income, and marital status on the interest of workers migrating commuters from Sidoarjo to Surabaya City. To achieve this goal in this study, logistic regression model analysis techniques were used using primary data from a sample of 50 respondents. The results of the analysis test of this study showed that the variable burden of family dependents, variables of education level and marital status had a positive and significant effect. While the income variable has a positive and insignificant effect on the interest of the workforce to migrate commuters from Sidoarjo to the city of Surabaya.

Pepaya merupakan salah satu buah tropika yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia. Hal ini dapat di buktikan dari manfaatnya untuk keperluan hidup manusia, antara lain yaitu buahnya sebagai sumber vitamin mineral serta dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Kelompok 257 KKN Universitas Jember dan masyarakat Desa Ramban Kulon melaksanakan program penanaman bibit pepaya California dengan tujuan dapat meningkatkan ketahanan pangan masyarakat Desa Ramban Kulon. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Ramban Kulon, Kecamatan Cerme, Kabupaten Jember pada tanggal 4 Agustus 2022 sampai 17 Agustus 2022. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penyampaian informasi dan beberapa kegiatan sebagai berikut: Penyuluhan, Pemberian bibit simbolis, Penanaman bibit pertama, dan Penyebaran bibit. Penyebaran bibit pepaya California sudah terealisasi secara merata kepada warga desa melalui perantara ketua RT. Dengan berjalannya program ini semoga warga desa dapat merawat bibit pepaya California dengan baik sehingga program ketahan pangan dapat terwujud.
