Abstract

In today's use of computers has a very diverse function in human activities, it is found that most office workers complete more than 75% of the duration of their work sitting in front of the computer.  Computer users or office workers often experience health problems related to Musculoskeletal Disorder (MSDs) is a health problem that can reduce the function of muscles, tendons, nerves, blood vessels, bones, and ligaments caused by awkward posture, ergonomic risks that often occur in office workers. The research method used is an analytical method. February 2023. PT PLN (Persero) UP3 South Surabaya has six ULP, namely Rungkut ULP, Darmo Permai ULP, Dukuh Kupang ULP, Ngagel ULP, Gedangan ULP. There were 50% of respondents aged >35 years, male gender 55%, working period >10 years 64%, and 68% work duration for 6-8 working hours.  The results of the NBM analysis provide information on changes in the distribution of musculoskeletaldisorders (MSDs) complaint rates of office workers are not sick (TS) = 4 5%, somewhat sick (AS) = 43.1%, sick (S) = 10.5%, very sick (SS) = 2.4%. The most dominant type of complaint for S complaint levels both before and after work is "pain in the waist and back". Scoring using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire occurs in the upper neck, lower neck, back and waist. Control that can be done to minimize these complaints can be in the form of stretching every 2 hours for 10-15 minutes and regular exercise.  In addition, you can also socialize the importance of office ergonomics in the office area using poster media.

Abstract

One of the health problem phenomena related to indoor air quality is Sick Building Syndrome (SBS). Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) is a collection of symptoms felt by people who are in the building. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the impact of the Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) incident. This research is an analytical observational study. Time of research: February - March 2023. PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Ngagel, South Surabaya, Surabaya City. from the interview results, there were 45% of respondents who experienced at least 12 symptoms from 20 categories of Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) complaints among office employees of PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 South Surabaya, City of Surabaya. Conclusion: Based on the characteristics of the respondents, it can be seen that the working age of the respondents is mostly> 35 years with the most sex, namely men and the dominant working mass is classified as old > 10 years and smoking habits, namely 73% of respondents do not smoke and 28 respondents have good psychosocial conditions and 2 respondents had poor psychosocial conditions. Of all the symptoms of Sick Building Syndrome, (SBS) complaints that are often felt are dry / hoarse throat (36%), dry skin (29%), skin is often reddish, irritated feeling (21%), rash on the skin, red spots ( 29%), Eye irritation (eyes are often watery/red/itchy, etc.) (36%), Runny nose, sneezing (36%), Chest tightness (36%), Flu-like symptoms (50%), Head dizziness, spinning (29%), Frequent headaches (29%), Drowsiness (36%), Chronic fatigue, lethargy (36%).

Abstract

Hospital waste can threaten surfaces, water, air, soil, environment and human health. Almost 80% of the waste produced by hospitals is in the form of non-medical waste, and 20% is in the form of medical waste. Based on the total amount of waste generated by health service activities, about 85% is general non-hazardous waste which is comparable to domestic waste. The purpose of this study is to describe the domestic solid waste management system at Isam A. Yani Hospital, Surabaya.This type of research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach. pene The population in this study is to 5 informants. This research uses purposive sampling method. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data.The results of the research at the stage of handling domestic solid waste for storage have distinguished between organic and non-organic waste, the transporter uses PPE and is stored in the TPS for 1 day. The facilities available are trolleys with uk 660 liters and 240 liters, sinks, green carts, dustbins, cikrak etc. Vector control is always carried out when there is a density of vector animals. Conclusion The conclusion of the domestic solid waste management system at the Islamic Hospital A. Yani Surabaya is that RSI has carried out the stages of waste management in accordance with existing regulations.Keywords: Hospitals, Domestic waste, Waste management

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan proses induksi keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) melalui penggunaan media video interaktif dengan pemanfaatan sistem barcode. Metode observasi digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengamati efisiensi dan akurasi proses induksi K3 serta tanggapan peserta terhadap penggunaan media video interaktif. Penelitian dilakukan dengan melibatkan tamu perusahaan. Peserta diberikan akses ke media video interaktif yang berisi informasi K3 yang penting untuk diperhatikan di tempat kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video interaktif dengan pemanfaatan sistem barcode dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi proses induksi K3. Peserta yang menggunakan media video interaktif menghabiskan waktu yang lebih singkat dalam mempelajari informasi K3 dan menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman yang lebih baik. Selain itu, sistem barcode juga membantu dalam verifikasi informasi yang diberikan kepada peserta.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang saat ini terjadi merupakan dampak yang besar bagi kehidupan manusia terutama bagi kesehatan mental masyarakat. WHO melaporkan bahwa tingkat prevalensi depresi secara global mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 25% pada tahun pertama pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan dari penulisan pustaka ini adalah untuk mengkaji faktor yang berhubungan dengan depresi di masa pandemi Covid -19. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori literature review dengan jenis Traditional Literature Review . Pengolahan data pada penelitian menggunakan metode ilustratif. Proses pencarian artikel menggunakan database Google Scholar mulai dari rentang waktu 2019-2021.Pada proses pencarian artikel menggunakan 2 kata kunci yaitu faktor yang mempengaruhi depresi pada pandemi dan penurunan kehilangan pendapatan selama covid. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh sebanyak 22 artikel yang paling relevan dengan topik yang dibahas. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara faktor perbaikan, individu yang memiliki riwayat penyakit kronis, individu bersama anggota keluarga atau kerabat yang memiliki riwayat Covid-19, individu yang memiliki riwayat kesehatan sebelumnya, dan kehilangan pendapatan dengan kejadian depresi di masa pandemi Covid- 19 -19.Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu faktor yang dipilih dengan rentang 1,33-8, individu yang memiliki riwayat penyakit kronis dengan rentang 1,23-2,66, individu bersama anggota keluarga atau kerabat yang memiliki riwayat Covid-19 dengan rentang 1,3 -3,38, faktor individu yang memiliki riwayat mental sebelumnya dengan rentang 0,42-12,99, dan penurunan pendapatan dengan rentang 1,25-2, 66 berkontribusi terhadap kejadian depresi di masa pandemi Covid-19. Individu yang memiliki gejala depresi segera melaporkan kepada tenaga (psikolog/psikiater) dan bagi tenaga kesehatan dapat melakukan pemantauan setiap minggu terkait dengan keadaan psikologis yang dialami masyarakat, pada kelompok rentan.
