Abstract

Learner Worksheet (LKPD) of reaction rates based structured inquiry in class XI SMA had been dertemine validity and practicality. The type of research used is Research and Development (R and D). The development model was a 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Disseminate. The disseminate stage was not carried out due to time and cost constraints. The research instrument used was a questionnaire validation and practicality questionnaire. The validation questionnaire was filled by 3 chemistry lecturers from FMIPA UNP and 2 chemistry teachers from SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung. Practicality questionnaire was filled by 2 chemistry teachers and 30 students of class XII MIPA 3 SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung. Data were analyzed using kappa moments. The average kappa moment of validity test was 0.87 with a very high validity category. The average kappa moment of teacher were 0,88 with a very high practicality category. The average kappa moment of student were 0,87 with a very high practicality category. Thus, it was concluded that reaction rates LKPD based on structured inquiry was valid and practice.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum requires teachers to use a scientific approach in teaching-learning process. The scientific approach is in accordance with the steps of various learning models, one of which is guided discovery. The study aimed at developing guided discovery modules on material buffer solutions for class XI SMA or MA and determining the validity and practicality of the developed modules. The research type was Research and Development. The development model was 4-D models that consists of four steps: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research was limited to. The instrument of the research was questionnaire a form that consist of validity and practicality sheets. The module was validated by 5 validators and module practicality was examined by 2 chemistry teachers and 34 students of grade XI MIA 1 at SMAN 12 of Padang. Validity and practicality data were analysed by using the kappa Cohen formula. The moment kappa average of 5 validators was 0.90 with highest validity category. The moment kappa average of teachers and students were 0.8 and 0.86 spelling with the high category. The result of the research showed that the module of buffer solutions based on guided discovery with multiple representations was valid and practice to be used on the learning of chemistry.

Abstract

This type of study is research and development (R and D) with 4-D development model. The research was conducted until the validity and practical test of the development. This student worksheet validated by 5 people validators namely 3 chemistry lectures and 2 chemistry teachers from SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. Practicality questionnaire was filled by 29 students of class XI and 2 chemical teachers of SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. The result showed that validity test is 0,87 categorized very high. The kappa moment of practical test by 2 chemstry teacher is 0,78 categorized high. The kappa’s moment of 29 students SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti was 0,81 with a high practicality category.

Abstract

This study is research and development (R and D) and using 4-D models, but disseminate step is not done. Validation of student worksheets has been done by chemistry lecturers and chemistry teachers. The practicality of student worksheets has been done by chemistry teachers and students of 2nd grade of SMAN 1 Pariaman. The result showed that moment kappa average of validity was 0,83 with very high validity category and moment kappa average of practicality were 0,9 by chemistry teachers and 0,86 by students with very high category. Therefore student worksheets of molecular shape based on structured inquiry with emphasis on the submicroscopic level using 3-D models is valid and practice to be used on the chemistry learning.

Abstract

Module of chemical formula and reaction equation with three levels representation based structured inquiry had been determined validity and practility. The research type was research and development (R and D). The development model was 4-D model the consist of 4 stages, namely: define, design, develop and disseminate. This research was limited to the stage of development, namely the validity and practicality tests. The research instruments were used  observation questionnaire, validity and practicality. The modul was validated by 5 validators. Practicality test was carried out by 2 chemistry teachers and 24 XI grade students of IPA 2 SMAN Basa Ampek Balai. Data of the validity and practicality test were analyzed using the cohen kappa formula. The average kappa moment of validity test was 0,93  with a very high validity category. The average kappa moment of teacher and student practicality were 0,88 and 0,91 respectively with category very high practicality category. Thus, module of chemical formula and reaction equation with three levels representation based structured inquiry was valid and practice.

Abstract

LKPD are one of the learning materials that can be used in the learning process. Buffer solution LKPD based on guided discovery learning with three levels chemistry representation. The type of this research was Research and Development (R and D) with the 4D development model. 4-D models that consist of four steps: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research was limited on develop step. The research instrument that used questionnaire in the form of validity and practicality sheet. The LKPD was validated by three UNP chemistry lectures and two chemistry teachers of SMAN 5 Padang. The LKPD was practicalited by two chemistry teachers and 28 students XII MIPA 1 of SMAN 5 Padang. Data were analyzed by Cohen Kappa formula. The result of validity test showed that the LKPD had a very high validity category (k = 0,86). Practicality test result showed that the LKPD has very high practicality category (k = 0,80 dan k = 0,82). The LKPD was valid and practical.
