Abstract

Sintesis senyawa organic dengan microwave (MAOS) ditinjau dari aspek Kimia Hijau (Green Chemistry) menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Sebuah contoh penerapan pada sintesis senyawa organik yang juga hijau yakni hidroksimetilfurfural menunjukkan kebanyakan aspek 12 prinsip Kimia Hijau terpenuhi. Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui kandungan logam merkuri dalam air laut di perairan sekitar Balai Budidaya Ikan Pantai (BBIP) Teluk Buo Bungus Teluk Kabung Kota Padang. Sampel air diambil tiga kali pada 9 titik lokasi dan dilakukan sesuai prosedur yang dikembangkan oleh Hosseini dkk yaitu sebanyak 50 mL sampel dan standar 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 g/L masing-masing dimasukkan dalam corong pisah, ditambahkan 5 mL KI 0.1 M dan buffer asetat sampai pH 5. Setelah ditambahkan 2.5 mL feroin dan 40 mL heksan campuran dikocok selama 10 menit sampai terjadi pemisahan. Lapisan organik dilarutkan dengan asetonitril dan diukur dengan Spektrofotometer pada panjang gelombang 509 nm. Dari tiga kali pengambilan didapatkan konsentrasi logam merkuri pada semua titik berada pada range tidak terdeteksi-0.2420 g/L dan masih dalam ambang yang diperbolehkan oleh KEPMENKLH No.2/MENKLH/I/1988 yaitu ? 3 g/L. Dari data yang didapatkan tidak terdapat persebaran yang merata dari logam merkuri pada titik-titik sampling dengan tiga kali pengambilang sampel. Hal ini disebabkan banyak faktor, diantaranya cuaca, kondisi perairan tersebut dan sifat volatil dari logammerkuri itu sendiri. Oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan penyidikan yang lebih mendalam dan menyeluruh sehingga didapatkan hasil yang sesuai dengan kondisi yang sebenarnya. Kata Kunci: Kompleks Asossiasi, ekstraksi pelarut

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pembentukan senyawa koordinasi dengan menggunakan ligan akrilamida dan asam adipat, dengan menggunakan beberapa ion logam transisi. Teknik yang digunakan dengan difusi perlahan pada suhu kamar. Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa akrilamida sangat sulit untuk bisa berkoordinasi dengan ion logam walaupun senyawa ini memiliki mode koordinasi yang banyak dan potensial. Sementara asam adipat dengan dua buah gugus karboksilat pada kedua ujungnya memperlihatkan potensi membentuk kompleks baru setelah diuji permulaan dengan spektra Infra merah.

Abstract

Metalorganic frameworks (MOFs) which are constructed from metal ions or metal ion clusters and bridging organic linkers, have recently emerged as an important family of porous materials due to their unique structural and functional properties. This review provides the recent progress in synthesizing MOF structures. In this review, we present some methods of the inorganic synthesis chemistry for obtaining good crystal of MOF. We emphasize on the use of Microwave Assisted Solvothermal Synthesis due to some benefits it has, some of which are the efficiency of energy and time saving which are crucial for large scale application. Crystal Engineering as novel discipline in inorganic chemistry is also pertained by defining some basic terms generally used and its way in predicting MOF structures. Abstract

Unregistered marriage is a legal act which gives rise to legal consequences, especially for wife and child born status during the marriage period. Among them is state protection form to married couples in disputes marriage case, whereas according to legislation, unregistered marriage do not have the law power. So also with children protection. Law No. 1 Year 1974 has affirmed the matters registeringterms pertaining to marriage and the rights associated with marriage. This law clearly explains that unregistered marriages in the KUA have no power, especially for rights and obligations in family. Perkawinan tidak dicatat yang merupakan perbuatan hukum yang menimbulkan akibat-akibat hukum, khususnya bagi istri dan status anak yang dilahirkan selama dalam kurun waktu perkawinan berlangsung.  Di antaranya yaitu mengenai bentuk perlindungan negara kepada pasangan suami istri bila terjadi sengketa dalam perkawinan tersebut, padahal menurut perundang-undangan, perkawinan siritidak memiliki kekuatan hukum. Begitu juga dengan perlindungan terhadap anak. UU Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 telah menegaskan ketentuan pencatatan pernikahan serta hak-hak yang terkait dengan Perkawinan. UU ini secara jelas menerangkan bahwa Perkawinan yang tidak tercatat di KUA tidak memiliki kekuatan, terutama terkait hak dan kewajiban dalam keluarga.

Abstract

ZnO nanoparticles have many applications in photocatalysis. The sol-gel technique is one of the lowest-cost and easy-to-perform methods for synthesizing ZnO nanoscale. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of precursors on the characteristics of the ZnO nanoparticles obtained by using the sol-gel method, including examining the purity of ZnO nanopowder, crystal structure/size, and morphology. ZnO nanopowder was prepared using zinc acetate dihydrate, zinc chloride, and zinc sulfate heptahydrate as various precursors, and calcination was carried out at temperatures of 400 and 600°C. ZnO nano powder was characterized by Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (ED-XRF), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). ED-XRF data shows that the highest purity of ZnO is 97.2% using zinc acetate dehydrate precursor. The precursors greatly influence the crystal structure and size of the ZnO nanopowders. In this study, the XRD ZnO pattern shows the hexagonal structure (wurtzite) with the crystal size of the ZnO nanopowders is 37-84 nm. Temperature variations affect the structure and morphology of ZnO powder. SEM micrographs of ZnO nanopowders are small spherical and twig-like agglomerations.

Abstract

This society service was done at the request from teachers of SMAN 3 Padang Panjang in 2019. In this activity, teachers were given materials on technology based media and techniques to develop it accordingly to the demand of national curriculum. 20 teachers followed the activity that began with the installation of ebook maker program, tutorial on getting and editing media from online resources, introduction to appropriate learning media, development of e-module integrating video, audio, animation, hyperlink and other interactive features, and distribution of Likert scale questionnaire on the last day of the activity. Data showed that terachers had facilities, access and support to implement technology based learning. E-module got positive response from teachers of SMAN 3 Padang Panjang, for it is perceived to be capable of delivering learning material and evaluation effectively.

Abstract

The aim of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) service activity is to increase teacher competency in making electronic electronic Student Work Sheets (e-LPKD) using flip book makers with an emphasis on three levels of chemical representation. The method used is lectures, demonstrations and workshops. The lecture and demonstration methods are used to deliver the topics i.e ICT and internet terminology, industrial revolution 4 and three levels of chemical representation. The practice includes quick tricks of editing images from general chemistry books and transferring them to LKPD. Workshops are to make e-LKPD using a flip book maker accompanied by videos of learning chemistry, animation of chemical concepts. This activity can improve the knowledge and skills of chemistry teachers using standard general chemistry e-books, videos of chemistry learning and chemical animation from internet. This community service activities can improve the knowledge and skills of chemistry teachers in integrating a variety of learning resources that can be used to create ICT-based e-LKPD by emphasizing on three levels of chemical representation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam rangka bimbingan menulis proposal dan melaksanakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) serta membuat laporan PTK dalam bentuk artikel bagi guru-guru kimia agar dapat dipublikasikan pada jurnal Nasioanl atau Internasional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Kota Bukittinggi selama 2 hari dengan jumlah peserta 13 orang guru kimia. Dalam pelaksanaan bimbingan ini dilakukan 4 metode. Pertama, metode ceramah ketika penyampaian materi; kedua, metode tanya jawab; ketiga, praktik pelaksanaan didampingi oleh tim ahli; keempat, diskusi untuk mengidentifikasi keberhasilan peserta. Sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan peserta diberikan angket mengenai keperluan peserta terhadap materi serta pemahaman peserta terhadap materi. Dalam kegiatan ini peserta dapat mengetahui permasalahan dikelas dan juga cara penelusuran artikel PTK secara online, metode dan Teknik penulisan artikel hasil PTK, teknik submit artikel hasil PTK kepada jurnal Nasional, serta penggunaan program Mendeley untuk mempermudah penulisan sitasi dan daftar pustaka pada artikel. Hasil pemahaman peserta sebelum penyampain materi dengan setelah penyampaian materi mengalami kenaikan yang signifikan yang ditandai dengan kenaikan jumlah pesrta yang paham. Dengan adanya bimbingan penulisan artikel dan penyusunan PTK ini memberikan motivasi kepada guru untuk membuat karya ilmiah berupa artikel hingga dapat dipublikasi.
