Abstract

The object of the study is PT. Trikomsel Oke Tbk Medan, because there was a decrease in employee performance at the company. Decline in employee performance occurs due to discipline in terms of accuracy is still less than optimal and lack of attention from the company that resulted in the presence of a sense of dissatisfaction. PT. Trikomsel Oke Tbk Medan is a company engaged in the distributor of mobile phones. This research uses quantitative approach, the type of research is descriptive quantitative and the nature of this research is descriptive explanatory.  Data  were  collected  by  questionnaires,  interviews,  and documentation studies. The method of analysis used is multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination simultaneous and partial test. The population of this research is all employees who work in PT, Trikomsel Oke Tbk Medan which amounted to 107 people. The sampling technique used a saturated sample where107 employees from PT. Trikomsel Oke Tbk Medan and 30 people from the branch office is OkeShop as a test of validity and reliability test. The results of this study indicate that the discipline and job satisfaction simultaneously and partially have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with the value of determination coefficient of 0.475 indicating that the discipline and job satisfaction affect employee performance with the percentage level 47.5% while the remaining 52.5% Is another factor that is not researched. The conclusion of this research is discipline and job satisfaction have influence both simultant and partially to employees performance at PT. Trikomsel Oke Tbk Medan.

Abstract

This study is to investigate whether communication skill and recruitment system effect to employee performance. This study is held in the PT. Bhanda Ghara Reksa Medan and involved 61 employees as sample of the study. It is assumed that due to the poor communication among employees some assignments cannot be carried out by the others as expected. Recruitment system is also a factor that causes to job performance when the selected candidates are not in accordance with their educational background or job experiences. This quantitative study is descriptive explorative with questionnaire as an instrument to attain the data and analyzed by multiple linear regression. The data is also processed by using coefficient of determination test simultaneously (F-test) and partial test (t-test). The result indicates that communication skill and selection system in employee recruitment simultaneously and partially have significant effect on employee performance with coefficient of determination value is 0.731. The communication and selection (recruitment) have an effect on employee performance with 73,10% (percentage level), while the rest is 26.90% influenced by other factors that are not examined such as leadership, motivation, and work discipline. Based on the overall results of the study, it is concluded that both communication and selection system effect to employee performance at PT. Bhanda Ghara Reksa Medan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job satisfaction and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Tanimas Soap Industries. This research is survey research. PT. Tanimas Soap Industries is a company engaged in manufacturing and exporting soap. The researcher used simple random sampling technique using the help of Slovin formula. With a population of129 people and an error rate(e) of 5%, the sample(n) of this study was 97 people while the validity and reliability tests were taken from the rest of the population after calculating Slovin formula as many as 30 people. The data analysis model used is multiple linear regression using SPSS v.17.0 software. From this research, Reseacher got a result that tcount  ttable  work satisfaction variable (3,703 1,985) with significance 0,000 0,05 and tcount ttable  work motivation variable (3,814 1,985) with significance 0,000 0,05 and Fcount   Ftable  was24,750 3,09 with significance 0,000 0,05. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and job satisfaction and work motivation have an effect simultaneously on employee performance.

Abstract

PT. Biru Indokon is a network steel distributor with the prime furing brand. The survey results revealed that several months ago problems arose related to sales promotions and distribution channels which caused sales targets to not be achieved as planned by the company. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of sales promotion and distribution channels on purchasing decisions. The theory used in this study is the theory of sales promotion, distribution channels, and purchasing decisions. The method used is a quantitative approach, the type of research is descriptive quantitative and the nature of the research is descriptive explanatory. Methods of data collection with interviews and questionnaires. Method of data analysis with multiple linear regression. The population is consumers who buy prime furing as many as 111 people and sampling using a saturated sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that partial sales promotions and distribution channels have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significant level of 0.05. Simultaneously, sales promotions and distribution channels have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significant level of 0.05. This study concludes is that both partially and simultaneously sales promotions and distribution channels have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions for prime furing.

Abstract

Leadership style and compensation are elements that can influence job satisfaction in order to improve employee job satisfaction. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style and compensation on employee job satisfaction at PT. Sinarmas Finance Medan. This type of research is  explanatory  research.  The  entire  population  is  sampled  in  the  study. Information retrieval of 123 employees who acted as respondents in the study was conducted using a questionnaire composed of five Likert scales. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination and simultaneous tests and partial tests. The results showed that leadership and compensation styles partially or simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at PT. Sinarmas Finance Medan. Based on the results of this study, the implications for management are to increase employee confidence in leadership and work motivation of employees so that it can improve employee job satisfaction and achieve university goals

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the effect of leadership, motivation and discipline on employee performance at PT. Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel and Medan Convention. The population is 202 employees. The number of samples in this study were 134 employees and the validity and reliability testing were 30 employees. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The results showed that simultaneously leadership, motivation and discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel and Medan Convention. Partially, leadership, motivation and discipline had a positive and significant impact on employee performance at PT. Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel and Medan Convention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work discipline, training and communication on employee performance at PT. Suriatama Mitra Perwita Medan. Researchers took the population in this study as many as 147 employees. The number of samples in this study were 107 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The results showed that work discipline partially had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Suriatama Mitra Perwita Medan. Partially, the training had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Suriatama Mitra Perwita Medan. Abstract

ABSTRACT Aneka Gas Industri Tbk, Medan is one of the largest companies in Indonesia. As a large company, it is necessary to pay attention to, review and regulate human resource management and good support for the performance of its employees, so that it will have an impact on improving employee performance which can have a good influence on company profits. The data obtained by the authors were obtained through the results of questionnaires filled out by employees of PT Aneka Gas Industri Tbk, Medan. The level of employee job satisfaction is assessed based on 5 aspects, namely aspects of the work itself, aspects of salary/compensation, aspects of the presence or absence of career paths, aspects and support from colleagues, and aspects of superior leadership. The results showed that the percentage level of employee satisfaction with the work itself was 76%, the level of employee satisfaction with salary/compensation was 75%, the level of employee satisfaction with the career path was 70%, the level of employee satisfaction with colleagues was 85%, and the level of employee satisfaction with superiors is 76%. The percentage of feeling satisfied with the work of employees Medan is dominantly satisfied, which is 83.3%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa pengaruh disiplin kerja, pelatihan kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan PT Angkasa Tour Medan. Terjadinya penurunan prestasi kerja karyawan disebabkan disiplin kerja, pelatihan kerja dan kepuasan kerja.Metode penelitian mengunakan kuantitatif. Populasi adalah berjumlah 74 karyawan dan sampel berjumlah 74 karyawan Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampline jenuh. Hasil perhitungan pengujian hipotesis secara parsial disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan PT Angkasa Tour Medan, secara parsial pelatihan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan PT Angkasa Tour Medan, secara parsial kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan PT Angkasa Tour Medan dan secara simultan Disiplin kerja, pelatihan kerja dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan PT Angkasa Tour Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampaknya digital service terhadap minat investasi tabungan emas pada pegadaian kantor wilayah 1 Medan Tahun 2019-2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populusi yang digunakan adalah nasabah Pegadaian Syariah sebanyak 850 nasabah yang terhubung dengan alat digital Pegadaian Syariah Digital service. Sampling yang dilakukan adalah 89 nasabah dari total populasi. Sumber data berasal dari data primer. Proses pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang dikirim Google Form. Model regresi yang digunakan yaitu model regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan pengujian yang sudah dilakukan, Digital service tidak mempunyai pengaruh secara parsial minat investasi tabungan emas. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan mempengaruhi preferensi pelanggan dalam menggunakan layanan digital pegadaian kantor wilyah 1 Medan. Dibuktikan nilai sig. untuk digital service adalah 0,482 > 0,05 dan nilai t hitung adalah - 0,706 < t tabel 1,987 maka artinya tidak ada pengaruh digital service terhadap minat investasi tabungan emas; dan 2) Kemudahan penggunaan dan konsistensi memengaruhi minat investasi tabungan emas dalam menggunakan aplikasi digital service pada pegadaian kantor wilayah 1 Medan.
